Chapter 56

Nk: ''Luvu main tumse..'' She felt awkward looked at the premise where all eyeing at them with wide eyes.

Lavanya: ''Enough Nk! Stop this non-sense..'' She saw him bowed his head down waiting for her answer. She cannot take this anymore and immediately shrugged her hand back and ran away brokenly while khushi followed her.

Guest are already taken their leave only Lavanya and Nk left in their house. Due to khushi insistence, Lavanya staying in the guest room for a night only in one condition to not persuade her to meet nk who was desperately pacing in living room to talk to her once.

In a meanwhile, khushi feed muskaan and make her sleep placing her in crib while arnav siting in living room shooting daggers at him. By seeing lavanya condition he cannot tolerate it.

Nk was pacing to and fro restlessly gazing at her door. After waiting for several hours he decided to directly barged into her room.

Arnav: ''Stop right there..don't move..'' His sharp voice rooted him and he turned.

Nk: ''I am going to meet lavanya..what's your problem?'' he was puzzled.

Arnav: ''This is my house not your rose garden where you can go and come anytime without permission. You already ruined my daughter function and now I won't let you hurt my friend lavanya..did you understand! Now get the hell out of my house..'' He spoke curtly and trying hard not to loose his sanity.

Nk: ''I am not going anywhere until my luv won't come with me?'' He raised his eyebrow by his claiming and strode toward him taking large step and grabbed his collar.

Arnav: ''Don't test my patience..I am warning you last time get the hell out of my house right now. He didn't move and glanced at him with folded arms. ''If within 2 minutes I didn't saw you going out then may be you won't be able to stand on your feet..'' he threaten him with greeted teeth.

Nk: ''Do what you want I don't care..'' he remarked in the same tone he was showing and pulled his hand off his collar and began marching forward ignoring him..that provoke arnav. Within a second he thrown Nk on the floor by gripping other hand in a tight punch but being stopped hearing khushi's voice. She was passing toward lavanya room but the fiasco occurring before her eyes widen her. She never knew arnav would react like this. She ran toward nk to help him who was already in miserable state.

Khushi: ''What is going on here..'' she helped nk to got up.

Arnav: ''I can't believe this you are protecting this guy because of whom lavanya was in devasted state..did you seen her condition? How could you do this khushi..it took me so much time to take out from depression and this man again wounded her bringing her in same place. Khushi was about to say something when Nk intrude in between.

Nk: ''Depession? What you guys talking about?'' He asked urgently.

Khushi: ''You just relax, go and meet her..'' Arnav get frustrated seeing her supporting him and drew a sharp breathe to control his fury.

Arnav: ''What the hell is going on here..i won't let this man near her at any cost..'' he yelled with venom in his voice. His cold demeanor had changed into menacing one.

Nk: ''I am going to meet her..'' Before he took his step forward arnav grabbed his collar and smashed a punch on his face and while doing so his own hand started bleeding.

''Arnavji, stop it..'' She was on the verge of crying. By listening her plead, his neck turn and he immediately stop kicking him that is pointed in nk direction seeing tears in her eyes. Frustratingly he punched his own palm on the wall furiously. No matter what he cannot see her pain and hurt. His patience gave away. Khushi touched his shoulder to calm him down but he pushed her away and walked off.

''Arnavji..?'' She saw him marching away and shut the door roughly from behind.

Nk: ''Khushiji I am sorry because of me you and your husband..?'' he feel bad creating rift between two love birds.

Khushi: ''You don't worry about arnavji..i will handle him and make him understand the gravity of situation..'' he smile contently and started rubbed his face where he got punch given by her husband. Khushi bite her lips feeling guilty for her husband behavior.

Nk: ''You husband is so khadoos..how you handle him? Thank god you came on right time and save me otherwise he would have killed me ..'' She open her mouth wide.

Khushi: ''You go to guest room and talk to lavanyaji, she is crying continuously and not ready to eat anything..she really need you..'' She handed him food plate and gesture him to go and make her eat. He grinned excitedly.

Nk: ''Khushiji you are very sweet thank you so much for helping me..''

Khushi: ''I will do anything to bring happiness in lavanyaji life..today if I am at this place and ecstatic with my relationship, only because of her sacrifice..'' she gasped. Nk looked up in confusion but didn't ask anything. Right now he only wanted to know how is lavanya. He quickly headed toward her room before her husband again burst on him.

Taking slow steps khushi entered in their bedroom to talk with him and saw him furiously typing in his laptop while Muskaan was sleeping in her crib peacefully. Arnav was aware of her presence but didn't look up at her and keep working avoiding her.

Khushi: ''Arnavji woh..hum..'' She was trying to talk with him. He was already in foul mood. He rosed up from his place and switched off the light placing muskaan on the bed and lay next to her. She knew he was hell furious on him that's why he took muskaan on the bed to maintain distance between them. She went beside him who was pretending to sleep and began smoothing his hairs lovingly. He jerk her hand off turning to other side.

Khushi: 'Itna gussa..'' (''So much anger?'') she pouted but didn't give up and curdle her arm around his waist from behind and pressed herself more to him. Getting no movement from his side, she snuggle her nose on the crook of his neck and pulled him closer with her head resting on his chest.

Khushi: ''I can't see you like this..please talk to me..'' He remain silent. His eyes were cold. Khushi raised her head and pressed her lips on his chest. He flinched and tilted his head away getting pissed off.

Arnav: ''Khushi I m very sleepy..don't disturb me..'' his voice was annoyed. He pulled her hand back and got up to walk away when she voiced him.

Khushi: ''Aap samajte kyu nahi.. nanheji lavavanyaji se bahat pyaar karte hain..woh unke saath bahat khush rahegi'' (Why don't you understand..nanheji loved lavanyaji very much..he would always make her happy..'')

Arnav: ''Oh really! You are talking as if you know that Nk since ages..what if he is also using her for his own benefits? He asked doubtfully.

Khushi: ''Hamari aankhen kabhi dhoka nahi kha sakhti..(My eyes never do mistake in judging him..) i have see unconditional love in his eyes..the way he looked at her was clearly seen how much he loved her..''

Arnav: ''Shut up khushi! I won't allow him to spoil lavanya life.. Do you have any idea what lavanya going through..i cannot let any other man play with her life ever again.. With lots of hardship and difficulty she came back to normal and get over from her turmoil '' His eyes moistened remembering her distraught condition. She became a dead body and hardly smile and talk, like she no more wanted to live anymore. No..if history repeat again he cannot able to forgive himself. Khushi touched his shoulder.

Khushi: ''Nanheji is not like sanjay...believe me he won't hurt her! Gave him one chance to prove himself..'' He took a deep breathe to calm his nerve. Khushi cupped his cheeks and make him sit on the bed.

Khushi: ''Arnavji, don't you trust me?'' He looked at her intently and kissed her knuckles.

Arnav: ''Its not like that khushi! I trust you more than myself and you know that but I don't want to take any risk regarding lavanya life..i have promised her mother that I always protect her and if again anything happen to her then I unable to look into her eyes..'' She hugged him and patted his back soothingly. She can see guilt in his eyes that was not letting him rest in peace. Somehow he made himself responsible for her condition.

Khushi: ''Keep faith in me I will never let you down, I promise!'' Khushi assured him and waited for him to say anything but he remain silent. May be he knew she was right or may be that silence meant he also have a ray of hope from her. He also wanted to see her smiling and deep down he had fear in his heart.

Nk walked in and began searching her but there is darkness around. He was about to go out wondering she was sleeping but stopped hearing soft sob. He instantly switched on the light. That's when his eyes fell on the figure lying lifeless on the ground hugging her knees with her head kneeling down. His heart bleed. He kept plate on the side desk and hesitantly moved toward her. He was clueless why she was fearing of his love. Many times he gave her hint about his feelings and expected her to at-least shout or reject her but every-time he saw different kind of pain in her eyes.

''Lavu..? He called her softly and began careless her hairs tenderly bending down. She frantically looked into his eyes tearfully.

Lavanya: What you doing here..i told you I don't wished to see your face again..'' Her temper flaring by every passing moment. He wiped her tears sweetly and she inched back.

Lavanya: ''Don't touch me..'' she jerk his hand off and about to got up when he pulled her closer and she landed on his lap. ''Leave me Nk..i have nothing to do with you..what do you want?'' He hold her tightly wrapping his hand around her waist.

Nk: ''I love you and want to spend my entire life with you..'' She stare into his eyes and immediately look away. He cupped her cheeks and made her looked into his eyes that was avoiding her gaze.

''Shaadi karogi mujhse..'' (Will you marry me..'') He asked hopefully.

Lavanya: ''No..never..'' He felt dejected by her denial. She pushed him away. But he doesn't loose hope. He knew something bothering her that is resisting her to see his pure love.

Lavanya: ''Why you are making it difficult for me..you are a very humble and honest guy.. Don't spoil your life being with a tainted girl like me...you deserve much better..'' She looked at him briefly but there is no recognition in her eyes. She was emotionless.

Nk: ''But I want you, only you..you are very special to me..'' he spoke audibly looking deep into her eyes. She snarled. She was in no term to melt by his gesture. It is not easy for her to again trust anyone.

Lavanya: ''Have you gone mad! I always consider you my best friend there is nothing beyond that..What you know about me..nothing! Do you know who I am? You know nothing about my past and when truth came in front of all your so called love vanished in an instant and you will never wished to see me again..''

My love is not weak that can be erased so easily..nothing can break it..I don't want to know anything..your love is more important for me ..i only wanted to make your present and future beautiful..that's it.. i can't imagine my life without you lavanya..since so many years I have buried my feelings but not anymore..i love you lavu and will always love you..always..'' Tears spilled down her cheeks. She closed her eyes tight and more tears flushed her face. Her heart cried seeing the love in his eyes and finally she grabbed the courage to tell the truth that she keep hiding for long.

Lavanya: ''I'm not a girl a man desires i have been used by someone ..his lustful desire destroy my life..he killed me..he killed me'' he widen his eyes in shocked. She paused and continued, ''I love him more than anything and submitting myself out of love what I get in return betrayal, lie and pain..'' She smiled bitterly remembering that horrible day when his true color came in front of her eyes.

Lavanya: ''I was completely broken and put myself into depression. Then I found my lost love in arnav..he healed me and I found myself out of the world but again..'' she cannot able to say a word to say further and cried her heart out. He embraced her into his arms letting her to erase all her pain and sorrow.

Nk: ''Don't accept me just be there with me..just be there..'' He kissed her forehead and began feeding her few morsel slowly. She had tears in her eyes unknown to them arnav and khushi leaning near the door observing them. Khushi turned and saw his eyes were getting misty.

Khushi: ''Now you believe me?'' Khushi somehow suppressed her tears. He didn't say anything and nodded in understanding.

Sun rose up high in the morning. Khushi was the first to woke up and went to check lavanya. Last night nk go back to his home after making her sleep. She was feeling a bit restless to make lavanya alone. She entered her room to check her. Panic gripped her when she found the empty room. She searched her in every corner but lavanya is no where around. She message Nk and asked him about her whereabouts but he also have no idea where were she. She immediately ran to awake arnav. Arnav rang her mother and from there they came to know lavanya was going to leave for abroad. The news of her leaving tensed her.

Khushi: ''Hey devimaiya..lavanyaji aise kaise kar sakhti hain..hame unhe rokna hoga..'' (How could she do like that..i have to stop him..'')

Arnav: ''You stay with muskaan, I will bring her..''

Khushi: ''No arnavji I don't think it's a good idea..she is already struggling with her past and present and if in this situation you go in front of her, don't know how will she react..'' he nodded in affirmation and she hurriedly drove toward lavanya's house.

Khushi ran the bell door and about to walk in when she saw her coming down holding suitcase.

Khushi: ''Lavanyaji where are you going?'' She looked worried seeing her puffy face and swollen eyes.

Ignoring her, lavanya began walking toward her car. Khushi come in between to block her way.

Khushi: ''I won't let you go..how could you go leaving nanheji like that..he loved you so much..'' She tried to stop her.

Lavanya: ''Leave my way khushi..i have already decided..i cannot destroy his life..im going abroad forever and dare to stop me..'' She jerked her hand off and hurriedly dashed off leaving behind shuttle khushi.

''Lavanyaji..lavanyaji..Please stop..!!'' she shouted but she is already left. She raked her hands through her hairs and rang Nk but his phone is unreachable.

''I have to stop her at any cost but how..?''

Precap: Arnav: ''Where the hell are you going?'' He began panicking.

Khushi: ''I am leaving your house taking my daughter far away from your sight..''

''What?'' His heart sank.
