Chapter 57

Arnav was talking with his little toddle in his baby voice swinging into his arms when the door knob turn open.

''Arnavji..?'' A choked voice echoed into his ear drum. His neck turned only to meet his wife which was rooted with gloomy face. Arnav sighed once he saw a defeated and sad khushi standing at the door. Khushi directly ran into her husband embrace the moment she carried her gaze and clutched him tightly. He can hear her soft sobbing sound and look around to search lavanya.

Arnav: ''Khushi what happened..why you sad?'' He touched her cheeks and asked her softly caressing her.

Khushi: ''Arn-v-ji..wo..h...'' he looked back into her eyes and wipe her tears consoling her understanding everything.

Arnav: ''So she's gone? Her silence said it everything. She hugged him more closer feeling vulnerable.

Khushi: ''Its all because of me if I was not come in between her love then she is supposed to be happy..i'm the biggest curse of everyone life'' he pushed her lightly and raised her chin to met her eyes.

Arnav: ''Don't you dare say that ever again...you have no fault in it.. that bas***d sanjay ruined her life that's the reason she lost faith in life and unable to believe in love again..give her some time..she will be alright..'' She pushed him.

Khushi: ''She is gone arnavji..i tried a lot but she didn't stop and left this city..If I didn't come back in your life again then may be..)

Arnav(Been interrupted): ''Have you lost it, khushi! Lavnaya is not my love nevertheless I feel anything for her ever..she is just my friend and if by any chance we had married then also I will never except her because my heart always belong to you..i will never be able to keep her happy..you saved three lives khushi and apart from that lavanya will surely got her love back and nk is the perfect life partner for him..'' She shoved him away and stare at him hurtfully.The thought of her going away making her feel restless and vulnerable. Sitting down, he pushed her hair back.

Arnav: ''Do you think I will let her go so easily?''

Khushi: ''Means?'' There is a smug smile on his face.

Arnav: ''I have a plan!''

Khushi: ''Plan?'' She narrowed her eyes in astonishment.

Arnav: ''Do you trust me?'' She nodded weakly and he narrated everything. She glare at him horrified with shocked expression.

Khushi: ''What are you saying..i can't do this..'' Her heartbeat become rapid by his disastrous plan. He kissed her forehead and made her sit on comfortor. She scoop muskaan in her arms and turned her glare toward nervously as he is observing her keenly waiting for her to speak something.

Khushi: ''I can't do this..''

Arnav: ''Don't worry..nothing gonna happen...don't you wanted to see lavanya happy..'' She let a weak frustrated sigh and nodded.

Khushi: ''Agar kuch gadbad hui toh hum apko chodenge nahi..'' (I will not spare you if plan reverts.) He chuckled and took out his mobile when she placed her hand over his hand anxiously gesturing him to think once again.

''My tigress women is scared..'' She looked at him with intense anger eyes.

This is not funny arnavji. What about your reputation?

Nothing is more important than your happiness and i know your happiness lay on lavanya happiness..she did a lot to make us one and now its high time we can do something to make her life better..yah? She smile back by his statement.

She had a strange heavy feeling in her heart. Arnav place muskaan in crib and tried to made her relax but she pushed him away. She is no term to be in peace by knowing what he is planning not only affect lavanya-nk but their lives as well. He very well know what is bothering her.

He kissed her eyelids gently and dipped his head more and more to cover her lips fully. She closed her eyes and arnav couldn't help but take her full warmth in him. She tightened her hand around his back and pulled him close. Breaking the kiss both look into each other eyes. She didn't say anything after that just put her head on his chest. After a while when she somewhat calmed down he grabbed his mobile to put the plan into action.

Lavanya was sitting in the airport waiting for the final announcement with her hand on her head. From last few days she went through lots of mishaps and after last night incident she lost all her self control when nk proposed her for marriage. She still unable gasp. The person she consider her closest buddy and share her sorrow, her happiness considering him to be her pillar and would support her, he wanted to marry her..? The thought itself causing goosebumps all over her body. She can never love anyone after what had happened. The last announcement being done and passengers are requested to board the flight. Being absent minded she began walking toward the entrance door. Her eyes filled with tears.

''I am sorry khushi..i knew you are very hurt by my decision may be you would blaim yourself but I have to take this step for nk better and secure future...he is my friend I cannot see him shattered and broken..i care for him and I will never tolerate he would spoil his life to be with me. Initially he feel bad that I didn't accept him but as time pass he will realize my decision was not wrong. I can never able to give that happiness he deserve being his life partner. He is very lovable and decent guy and I am sure he will get a a perfect girl that probably love her conditionally. She reached at the door but her leg wobble. Her heart not letting her to go away from her loved ones. She closed her eyes and remembered all the wonderful days she spend with Nani,payal, asr ,khushi and nk. ..Within short span she feel so lively and close to them. With heavy heart, she took her step ahead when a voice from behind stilled her.

''Lavu..'' The familiar voice urge her to look back.

Lavanya: ''Nk..tum..what you doing here?'' He walked creeping a cute smile on his face and gave her bouquet of red roses.

Lavanya: ''What is this Nk?'' She flinched and throw flower on the ground getting furious. ''I already made myself clear I don't like you..there is no use of all these..you and khushi cannot change my decision and by doing that you cannot stop me..i am leaving..'' She spoke through greeted teeth.

Nk: ''Happy journey!!'' He said in low voice and turned around.

Lavanya: What? She looked shocked and open her mouth wide open by his changed behaviour.

Nk: ''I have no such intention to stop you from going infact I am happy that you are moving on and giving a new start to your life...take care and if possible do inform me after reaching..'' Saying this he walked out and not even once turned back to see where she is okay with it or not. She felt hurt and sad.

Lavanya: ''Stupid..idiot..dumbo..i hate him..!'' She sighed annoyed. He didn't once tried to stop me? Nk who was walking away had a victorious smile on his face. He message arnav about plan A successful.

Lavanya feel tugged in her heart but not ready to accept the fact. She touched her cheeks where she found tears spilling. She looked at those tears confused.

''Why I'm crying? I shouldn't feel anything after-all all that what I want was finally happening..'' Frustratingly she pushed her tears off only to step into new arrival of journey. She showed ticket in the counter and was going to depart when she seen some crowd above her. There is something flashing in the television from far and people was muttering and gossiping. She went further and rooted at her place seeing asr's name flashing on the screen. Earth slipped down her feet by what she heard next.

Breaking news: The business tycon Arnav Singh Raizada marital life was at stake. Little burdle said the couple which recently tied knot apart of having lots of problems even their families was now finally decided to part their ways. Yes you heard it right they're going to get separated. It offically declared they are getting divorce. Lavanya feel down on the ground. Her Entire form trembled by this news. She closed her mouth with her both hands. Blood stopped its circulation and her heart stop to pump. Till now everything is fine then..?

No this is not possible! Both love each other so much..this news is fake. She shook her head in denial and sat on the bench shaken. One by one odd things happening. Firstly Nk strange behavior and now this news.She began trying khushi number but it couldn't unreachable. Damn! What should I do now? Her brain start to work speedily. They are surely cooking something. She found it suspicious and decided to checked it by herself.

Arnav: ''Khushi stop!! Don't you dare to move an inch..!!'' His eyes turn dark the moment he saw suitcase in her hand. Ignoring him, she began storming toward the door scooping muskaan. Suddenly, she found herself been pushed by her husband and she landed into his arms taking musky apart.

''Where the hell you going?'' He began panicking.

Khushi: ''Didn't you seen news channel everywhere there is gossip of our broken relationship what else you need more..its over mr raizada! I'm leaving your house taking my daughter far away from your sight..''

Arnav: ''You cannot separate my muskaan..she is my life..if you want to go then its your choice but my daughter will stay with me always..got it.Now get out!! She clenched her fist ruthlessly when he snatched muskaan from her hand.

Khushi: ''Give me my child back...I am her mother and there is no law that can separate a mother from her daughter..'' She roared.

Arnav: ''Oh really what if I won't? She eyes him doubtfully. Lavanya that was standing at the door cannot believe her eyes. They are fighting like a wild lions.

Khushi: ''I want muskaan custody and for that I already file divorce case plus half of your property. From now our paths are different till then muskaan would stay with me...'' she charged him clearing her intention showing the same rage he was showing.

Arnav: ''I already have doubt you married me for my money..disgusting women!!''

Khushi: Mind your language Mr raizada..you are doubting on my love and i have doubt on your character..god know how many affairs you had behind my back..''

Khushi..!!!!!!!!'' He raised his hand only to be stopped by lavanya. Khushi closed her eyes fearfully and receiving no pain she open her eyes fumbling.

Arnav: ''What's is going on here! Asr what's wrong with you? Is this a way to treat with your wife?''

Wife? She meant nothing to me..i cannot tolerate her for a second in front of my eyes..take her away from my sight.

Did you see how he manhandling me..he is the same man who is roaming behind me before marriage and now look at him..these men can never change..pevert!!

Lavanya: ''Khushi you please stay quiet..i am talking to him..'' She rolled her eyes.

Asr, How could you raise your hand on her..i have seen how much you loved her..this is your khushi..the same girl to protect her you can go to any extend and now you are saying all this and khushi you are saying all this to your husband..are you guys pretending to fight or really fighting? She looked suspiciously. Khushi gulped and arnav signal her through his eyes to go on with the fighting session.

Khushi: ''I hate this man...''

Arnav: ''Then go from here who stop you Mrs drama queen..'' She open her mouth wide and boiled in anger.

Khushi: Mujhe koi shauk nahi hain apke saath rehne ka..damn ghutta hamara iss nark mein..hum ja rahe hain..alvida..'' (Even I also have such interest to be with you..Your presence suffocating me..i am leaving this house..good bye..'') He smile inwardly seeing lavanya pale face.

What is happening here? can anyone tell me? For god sake Please stop Khushi!! He straightened himself jerking her hand away turning his back toward her. Lavnaya eyes welled up seeing her disappearing figure. She cannot take this anymore and ran behind khushi. She tried all possible ways to make her understand but she is adamant just like her. However, she requested her to stay along with her in her home.

Its been a month passed, khushi has been staying in lavanya's house. On the other hand lavanya trying to contact nk but he is avoiding her and the reason is unknown to her. She asked him to meet him so that they together sort out the differences between arnav and khushi but he literally denied saying he is busy. His behavior pricking her.

The days away from arnav was like years for khushi. She hardly go out and prefer remain at room. She badly wanted to meet him and now a days muskaan was not letting her sleep. She is missing her father warmth. Khushi was pacing in her room restlessly. She not even call arnav as he restrain saying it would create doubt in lavanya mind upon that she forget to take her mobile from her husband's house.

''M...mm...a...'' Her thought been broken my muskaan crying voice. Khushi changed her clothes and placed the milk bottle near her mouth and began patting her back. Suddenly a soft palm touched her shoulder and his husky voice reached her eardrums.

''Kaise ho khushi..?'' (How are you?) She fluttered into unleashed tears seeing him after so long.

Arnavji..? She hurridely jump into his arms throwing her entire form. He wrapped his arm around her back knowing about her condition. He kissed muskaan lovingly and looked back at khushi gloomy face. Taking her into his arms, he pacify her.

Khushi: ''Do you have any idea how I am staying without you..i am dying every single moment without you..'' she pushed him through his chest making him step backward. He move forward to sooth her but she again pushed him not letting him to come closer and this time he held her both hand pinning her onto the walls.

Arnav: ''Shh relax...!'' She retaliated back getting agitated.

Khushi: ''Don't touch me..i don't want to talk with you!'' Her turned her gaze away getting highly pissed off

Arnav: ''So my wifey is in angry mode..''

Khushi: ''You and your stupid plan were good for nothing..everything is fail! I already told you it won't work..lavanya and nk couldn't get together by your stupid plan... why you punishing your wife and your daughter uselessly..just look at her every-time she cried, its getting difficult to handle her..try an understand arnavji it won't work..i know lavanya don't disagree if you talk with her..just once make her realize about nanheji feelings..i am sure she would understand..'' Arnav without exchanging any word storm toward her, grabbing her forearm and dragged her outwards. She was taken aback by his sudden movement.

Khushi: ''Where are you taking me?'' He left her hand and gesture her to look further only to find lavanya crying holding Nk photo. Her eyes twinkled and she looked at arnav ecstatic.

Arnav(Cupping her face): This all happens because of my plan which you called stupid..we are very near to reach our motive.

Door bell rang. Her eyes sparkled in joy to find the person which she curiously waiting to meet.

Lavanya: ''What a pleasant surprise Nk..'' She cannot hold back her emotions and hugged him excitedly.

''I missed you so much..where you have been?'' She punched him bestowing an angry glare. He didn't react and glare at him seriously. She felt strange by his odd behavior as she never seen him so earnest. She made him sit in sofa and asked holding his hand.

''Nk what happen..from some days I m noticing you are behaving so weirdly...is everything fine at home! How is uncle and aunty? She asked anxiously.

Nk: ''Yah..Everything is fine in-fact they are much more than happier than ever..'' She raised her eyebrow surprisingly.

Lavanya: And what it could be..may i know?

Nk: ''Opss I forgot to tell..you are complaining where I was busy now a days right? She nodded causiously listening what is coming next. She gulped down. His expression scaring her. Silence erupt in the large room before a big blow coming on her way.

''I AM GETTING MARRIED!'' She get froze. Her breathe drive shallower when he keep wedding card on the table behind her.

''Are you kidding me?! This can't be true..'' She stood up in disbelief. Her hand began shivering while opening the card. He stood up from his seat. The news was enough to tremble her entire body. She was fought back for tears and upon that the date of wedding was written as tomorrow date. That means he is...

Lavanya: ''What is this non sense Nk..stop joking this is not funny..'' She refused to accept it.

Nk: ''urmmm.. i thought you were happy! Anyways..this is not any prank..i am dating pretty since a month that's why I was unable to meet you these days much. However, after spending considerable time we decided to tied a knot as early as possible. I wanted to surprise you so I hide it from my best friend. Why don't you want me to get married?

Lavanya: ''Pretty?''

Nk: Pretty mathur..remember our classmate who is behind me since college days. Are you not happy? He asked mocking her.

Lavanya: ''Of-course..'' She said with heavy heart avoiding his gaze. Card slipped from her hand.

Nk: ''That's like my sweetheart..reached at venue on time hmm...'' Saying this, he walked out leaving behind shattered lavanya. Her breathe stilled in fear. She have no idea what to do. She don't know what she should do and how to react.

''Why I m feeling pain..i should be happy my friend is getting married..yes I am happy..I am very happy for MY FRIEND'' There was crack in her voice. She tried to smile but her tears flowing unstoppable. From silent tears it turns into soft sob. She began pacing hysterically gathering courage to think wisely.

''I have gone mad..why I am behaving like that..this won't repeat again..i won't come in between your newly fond happiness and love..i only wanted to see you happy.'' She somehow console herself burying her inner feelings within her heart.
