Extremely sorry about the delay guys Internals and College is keeping me really busy. I have tried my best to come up with a good Update I hope you guys like it.

CHAPTER-3

"I know, I just blurted it out and it too soon but it does not change what I feel" said Arnav sincerely.

Khushi snorted sarcastically.

"Listen, you don't have to feel the same or anything, infact even I need to sort out my own feelings, Why don't we date and get to know each other" suggested Arnav.

"Do you go around asking out girls who are planning to become a sanyasin" asked Khushi.

"Well you are not a sanyasi yet and I still have time to change your mind"replied Arnav.

"You can't change my mind so I suggest you not to get your hopes up" said Khushi and walked away.

"Khushi wait I think we should give this a chance" said Arnav as he caught up with Khushi.

"Give what a chance? Your Lust" asked Khushi angrily.

Something about her words made Arnav lose it. He caught her tightly by her wrists and pulled her close to him.

"If it is lust, then do you think I will still be talking to you" askked Arnav in a dangerous tone.

Khushi trembled in fear and struggled to free herself. Her helplessness made Arnav feel like a prick for taking advantage of his strength.

"Sorry" said Arnav and let go of his hold.

"Why do you think it's lust Khushi?

"What else am I supposed to think ? you just met me yesterday and saw me in a compromising position and today boom you are in love with me" asked Khushi.

"well, If you put it that way it does sound like lust" admitted Arnav sheepishly.

"I am not going to deny that I feel inexplicably attracted to you but it's not just lust Khushi"

"what difference does it make" asked Khushi.

"The difference Khushi is that I don't want to f**k you but make love to you" replied Arnav.

They just stood there, staring into each other's eyes, after what seemed like ages Khushi finally broke the silence.

"Carefully chosen words don't change the intentions" said Khushi and walked away. This time Arnav did not follow her.

"Well you just met her yesterday and you confessed your love today, how else do you expect her to react" asked Lavanya.

Beside her Akash and NK were staring open mouthed at Arnav, still trying to fathom the fact that Arnav Singh Raizada had met a girl and confessed his love too.

"I Din't confess, I din't mean to I just blurted out, it seemed right that I din't want to deny it afterwards" said Arnav.

"either way Arnav, you are in love with her and she is not" said Lavanya.

"Eureka" said Arnav sarcastically.

Lavanya rolled her eyes in response.

"Stop fretting and make her fall for you" said Lavanya.

"She is too guarded La, like she has built a shell around herself" said Arnav.

Something about Khushi's reaction was disturbing him. Her staunch belief that what he felt for her was lust and how she had flinched when he had touched her

"Then break it" said la and went back to her nail art.

"Pinch me Akash, Nanav is in love" said NK shaking Akash who was yet to overcome his shock and still staring into space.Arnav threw a pillow at them in irritation.

Khushi was done with her chores for the day. It had been one tiring day for her emotionally ad physically as well. Her mind kept on reminding her the conversation she had with Arnav in the morning. She din't regret for whatever she had told him because whatever she had said was the truth. Besides she was done with men, once and for all in her life. Why was Dadi ji hesitating to let her join the ashram? She decided to go and ask dadiji and get it done with once and for all.

Subhadra Devi had been expecting Khushi to confront her and hence was not surprised when Khushi did so.

"Dadiji I want to talk to you" said Khushi.

"Go ahead Bitiya"

" Dadiji don't you want me to join this ashram" asked Khushi.

"No" replied Subhadra Devi.

Khushi was taken aback at Dadiji's point black and straight forward answer.

"Why not?"

" Because life at ashram is not what you want ,your reasons for wanting to live here are wrong, you do not seek spirituality...you are escaping from something... from what? I do not know...I know only one thing for sure that you don't have a family waiting for you or looking for you"

Khushi gulped, Dadiji was right. She did not seek spirituality, in fact things like meditation were not her cup of tea. But thhis place seemed nice, safe and away from men and what more could she want.

"Please Dadiji" tried Khushi.

"No, Bitiya, this place is not made for you, you long for love and a family if not why else would I suddenly become Dadiji when I was Guruji till last night"

Khushi was silent, Dadiji was right again but where else could she go.

"I know a place which will accept you wholeheartedly and love you without boundaries"

Khushi looked up at Dadiji with hope.

"Shantivan" said Dadiji

Khushi looked at her puzzled.

"That is where my family in Delhi lives, though I am not in touch with them I know them very well, they would love to have you with them especially Devayani...you will have a Nani,Mama,Mami,Di in brief a loving family" said Subhadra Devi.

Khushi was confused, Dadiji had just spoken about her family but had not mentioned Arnav, wasn't he related to dadiji.

"But the house also has three sons, Arnav, Akash and NK and all three of them are unmarried and my family is a bit orthodox and there would be questions and unnecessary gossip around them if you stay there unmarried" said dadiji.

Khushi knew what Dadiji was going to suggest next and was dreading it.

"Marry Arnav, you don't have to start the relationship unless you want to but you can have everything else" said Subhadra devi.

Subhadra knew her grandson and also knew that he would win Khushi's heart. Hence she did not feel guilty doing this.

"It's alright Dadiji, I'll the ashram as soon as possible and I don't want to marry anyone" replied Khushi.

Subhadra Devi remained calm, her face was impassive as Khushi left the room she could hear her supressed sobs.
