She stacked up the medicines and pushed it up on the highest rack, Rey just looked at her in agony, he could look at her forever, her sinful lips and large eyelids, the little hair which fell on her forehead, causing her to snitch and push them back, she jumped causing her shrinked top to move upward, just above her spine, Rey could not help but notice her fair and smooth skin, he licked his lips in anticipation. She had bundled up all her hair in a pony, which made him frown, he liked her hair open, scattered on her shoulders and her pushing them back, she looked at him staring and smiled.

"don't u find it a bit ill mannered that me-being a girl and doing all the work, and you just standing there and staring at me, as though your eyes would pop out any minute now" she said crossing her arms across her chest.

He shrugged. "I cant help but notice the slight down and fall of your.."

She retorted not giving him a chance to complete "Let it be. I don't wanna know"

She made a face and Rey could just smile at her innocence, she moved on to another racks, bundling up all the medicines and putting the box on the highest rack.

Rey just followed her.

"Where you from Rey? I never even once hear you mentioning your parents?" she said while gathering the several tablets into the box, throwing them like candy rappers.

There was a pause, and she could not help but look at up at him, much to her unfortune he held an expressionless face,

"You never mentioned yours either" he spoke.

"Well, for mentioning something you need to have that you know. I never had my parents, I was bought up by my Grandma and never even once did she tell me where were they, even when we asked she made it simpler and said that they were out" she said

"And what happened to your Grandma?" he asked

"She died. Two years ago" was a quick reply. "So, I and Anish moved here with whatever we had, along with the medical shop she ran, the rest you know"

He just nodded. Looking at how simple her Grandma had made life for her, he could not believe that never even once she tell her what she really was, he could not believe that Kriya has lived her life with the farce of being a human. but she was not one. she was something else...

She shrugged and Rey could understand by her expressions that it was his turn to tell her the story of his family.

"Well.." he was hesitant and she could see that so leaving everything else she instantly said.

"Don't. if you don't want to tell then don't. its okay" she smiled and shrugged a shoulder.

"No! I have to get this out of my system, the sooner the better." He said sitting on the stool right infront of her.

"Well, my mom the head mistress of Convent High, my teacher, my principal, and also my mother, she could not tolerate indiscipline, and my life was much about her, she had planned what courses I would take, she had planned which college to go and she had found the right girl for marriage, she had done everything. It was as though she was living her desires through me. My dad was just the opposite, he was frank, loving and caring as well, my parents shared a great bond you can never really find them yelling or fighting. But it was that day, I went to this farmhouse across the town, with a bunch of friends, you know how it is, we had this weird girl in the group, she was silent and strong, also she was my secret crush, so, we made out during the trip once and she accidently bit me," he pulled his shirt and she could see the scars of two fangs still, after all those years.

"It used to hurt like anything, I stayed unconscious for two days, I could see images and flashes, dreams and colours-bright enough to blind me. But I could not get up, nor could I open my eyes, my parents were called and before them the elders discovered they had found another Lycan, it was hard to protest for mom, they were arrogant and forced to train me and make me one of those warriors, but my mom was strictly against it, and it was all on me, whether I wanted training or not. I wanted to, because it was hurting like anything, but I was never taught to make my own decisions, whatever mom said was fine for me and so I declined, despite of all the pleads I declined. Folks took my back home, my schooling was over by then, I was not allowed to get out of that house. One night when I got back home after getting some eggs, I could see dad pale on the dine, I went over to check and his neck was just, cut, like they do it with nails, I just didn't know what to do, I had never come across anything like this so I called up mom, and asked her to come over but once she was there.." he fell quiet. Kriya looked at him in anguish.

"What did she do?" she asked and he looked up, looking at her with sorrowful eyes.

"She said I killed him, she said I was a monster and that I killed him for my personal pleasure, she said she knew this day was coming and that I would hunt more and kill her now, frightened I told her I didn't but it was obvious that no one was to believe me. My mother said she would call the police, she threw me out, calling the cops, but before she could do that I went, I left house and there was nowhere to go for me but to join training in the Lycan Valley" he finished

Kriya could see the pain in his eyes, the disappointment in his eyes was to die for, he looked pale and helpless, for the very first time she was seeing this vulnerable side of him, she looked at him for a minute and when he looked up she could just not help but run and hug him, she felt a sense of pain piercing through her veins, as though she had faced all the betrayal, all the mistrust, she could feel it all. but yet couldn't put that in words.

She parted away and kissed him, as long as he was better she didn't mind doing whatever made him better. She could feel him smiling through the kiss, though it was more like a peck, she just pressed her lips against his and he reciprocated it. She smiled at the guy.

She smiled at her guy.

Not after very long, she closed the shop and stepped into his car,

"Lets go?"

"Lets go" she smiled, he drived thoroughly.

"Rey do u have friends?" she asked

"A couple of. Why?"

"Do they visit you?" she asked

"Well, once in a week, the washer comes to take my clothes for cleaning, every evening the maid comes for cooking, twice a week the milkman comes," he smirked looking at her.

"No one else?" she asked. "No Neighbours?"

"Nah. I don't have much of them" he shot a glance at her.

"How did u live then? all alone?" she asked

"Why do u think it is so hard to live without the nourishing company of Kriya Ghai?" he asked smirking.

She laughed. And then spoke "Its fine Rey, you are a reserved person, I know."

He stopped the car "Kriya before we go to the Lycan meeting, and people tell you what you really are, I want to tell this to you myself. First."

"I would rather hear it from you than them" she hushed

"Kriya, you are not a human being, you are an Oracle."

now i have my exams so i dnt know when ill be updating next..
