"Kriya?" he knocked the door

"Kriya?" he knocked again.

"I'm changing, will see you later" came a weak response.

"u fine right?" he asked

"Yeah" the meek voice returned

He turned his heels and fished out his cell phone, pressing the number keys in order to talk to one he was trying to.

R--- Hello?

Caller : Is she there?

R---Yeah, she isn't there

Caller : are you thinking of taking her to..

R---Yeah I must take her there.

Caller: what are you waiting for then?

R---I'm just.. kind of scared.

Caller : Scared? What for? The saviour Reyaansh is scared? I heard something new today.

R---she doesn't know about it Mich, her grand mum didn't tell her even a bit about it.

It was high time Rey started to hear sobs, higher ones, and louder ones, something pricked inside him as he urged to go and check what was on with her. .

Caller : Okay.. Well, you gotta work on it then

Rey---I'll call you up later Mich, I sort of have some unfinished work.

Without waiting for his reply Rey ended the call, he walked over to the room to get a better volume of her sobs, he knocked the door twice again.

"Kriya would you please open the door?" he said with frustration piercing his veins.

"You need something Rey?" she asked

"Yeah" he said "I need to talk to you"

He could hear footsteps nearing the door, he gulped a lump. He feared, what would she say? but some feelings are more than fear : affection, Desires.

She opened the door and he could see her little nose red, for a minute he didn't know what to say, what if he said something stupid? Something which would hurt her more? Something... just something..

"K-kriya?" he could see her lashes wet from moist salty tears. "Have you been crying?"

She didn't say anything. But her silence was his answer.

"Why Kriya?" he held her shoulders firmly and then asked with furrowed brows, but she just shrugged his hands away, she had managed so well without him since seven years why did he have start with all of the hugging and touching now?

"Personal" she spoke and then looked up in his eyes, what they contained was hard to tell : Mixed emotions, Concern, care, affection.. no! did she just realize affection?

"What personal Kriya?" he said "It's me! Girl, I thought we could speak to each other"

"Stop being stubborn Rey" she said moving in again, trying to close the door behind her, but he was stubborn.

"Do you hear yourself?" he asked "do you know how weak you sound?"

"Thanks for your concern, but, I'm fine" she spoke clearly disinterested in talking to him, she tried closing the door again but unfortunately he was much stronger and though she tried her hardest she could not force the door close with him pressing it open.

"No!" was a quick response "you aren't fine, you're coming with me right away"

"Rey leave me.." before she could continue protesting he held her arm roughly and pulled her out of the room.

"You're coming, and that's the end of this conversation" he spoke with anger burning in his blood.

He pushed her gruffly into the bath and opened the tap water. "wash your face" he said

"REY WHY ARE.."

"I said wash your face" he spoke aggressively

With gritted teeth she did as she was told, splashing water on her face.

Once done he took her to the kitchen and handed her a glass of water. "Drink"

She forced the water down her throat and she could feel a sense of relief fill her inside out.

He crossed his hands across his chest and smiled seeing her better.

"Feeling better Ghai?" he asked

"Why are being so nice to me suddenly?" she asked though she did feel better and was mentally waiting to kiss him.

His smile turned into a smirk, he spoke "I would answer that but I'm afraid you have to tell me the reason behind your tears"

"No!" she said wondering how hard it would be to tell him how much his words had affected her. So badly, must add.

"Yes" he said

She felt a lump in her throat which she could not break loose. "Well, It was because of what you said" she looked away "I do want to be with you,"

"even when Anish comes?" he asked

"Even when Anish comes" she nodded.

He scrunched his eyes to stop the brimming tears then said "I know you don't want me to touch you and stuff like that, but, right now, I just want you to kiss me"

He scooped her up in his arms and moved closer, making his temple touch hers. He then kissed her, biting her lip and moving his hand up her spine. She teased him by keeping her mouth shut, he brushed his tongue naughtily against her lower lip, coaxing her to open her mouth.

But Kriya didn't feel the same way, as he kissed her she could see images, images in her head, first she thought it was just her head which was forming but later they were more, more and dark, just as though she was seeing a movie with heavy flashes of thoughts. She could see a man, lying on a table with some fierce force biting him on the neck, she could see all the blood and sense the cries, it was high time when she realized it was Rey on the table and she felt a rinse of fear rise through her, she could see his face, he was shouting, yelping, cribbing, unable to see anymore of them, she pushed Rey away, breaking away from his grip, he looked at her with wondering eyes, questions in those glass eyes which were ready to break.

"I'm sorry" she hissed "Oh I'm really really sorry"

"What's wrong Kri?" he asked

"Its just that now when you kissed me I could see.. see it all.. how they turned you, how you cried, I could.. I could just see it all" she shrieked

"Are you fine?" he asked holding her

"No! not at all, I just don't know what is wrong with me! I'm so so sorry" she said

"Wait, you could see it all?" he asked

"Very Very clear, just like it was happening right in front of me" she said

"I think you need some rest" he said

And then he called the one he called the one he had called earlier and all he said was "I think its time to tell her"
