Chapter 3:Is it Love?

"Arrey Talk to me know!" Kriya yelled

"We have to give this assighment till 6 and its already 4 toh please" Swayam said continuosly trying to call someone on his phone and writing with his second hand.

"Wait, Who are you calling?" she asked "Sharon?" she continued smiling

"yes." he said

"Why u calling her? date? hmm??" kriya said teasing him

"I'm worried for her. shut up" he said

"Haw! I'm sitting right here. and i haven't done the assighment as well, you're not asking me to do it. This is SO unfair!" kriya said her mouth gaped open

"You are responsible, She is not!" he said "Where the heck is she? i've tried calling her 15 times" he continued

"Must be talking to her friend" kriya said

"What kind of friend?" swayam suddenly showed a ton of interest

"I could tell if i get 50 bucks" she said demanding

he handed her 50 bucks in 3 minutes

"Just kidding. She's talking to her sister" kriya said winking

"You know what, rey was asking things about you yesterday in the football field" he said

"WHAT!? what did he ask?" she said suddenly shaken up

"50 bucks!?" swayam said demanding kriya threw the note on his face

"Just kidding. but, how come you have so much intrest in HIM?" swayam winked. "Chakkar kya ha boss?" he asked grinning

"Chakkar kuch nai ha boss. get lost along wid 50 bucks" kriya said taking the assighment from the desk swayam was sitting

"What? give me that back" he said startled

"I need to copy this. i have exactly 1 hour left. no option other than copying" she said and left swayam with his mouth gaped open

Kriya and swayam have turned instant best friends after rey introduced them. Kriya used to spend a large part of her day with him. thinking abt rey? rey was kinda disappeared he met kriya for maximum half a hour on days, and swayam usually had no idea where he was.

Someone was watching them. and the one watching was damn jealous of swayam. he liked kriya, and had expected her to like him back. he was noting their body language, their actions, and even how may times they smiled during the conversation, and ofcourse their gags. and he was damn jealous, where was he in her life? and unfortunately the one gazing them was our own Lycan named REY...

Sharon and kriya were still copying the assighment, "Swayam is such a darling!, he called me 8 times just to remind me for the assighment. how cute is that. hena?" she finished "Tujhe swayam kuch zyada hi cute nahi lag rha?" kriya asked raising a brow. "Please not again kriya, we've talked abt this before. I just have one Mr. Cute and that is Vishal" sharon finished, kriya nodded her phone vibrated she picked the call..

Kriya: hello?

Speaker: hi, are you free?

Kriya: rey is that you?

Rey: why you expected swayam?

kriya: no, whats up with the new number?

Rey: right, swayam can change number but not me.

Kriya: Why u dragging him in this?

Rey: u feeling bad?

Kriya: whats up with you rey? you don't spend time with me and then you talk to me like this?

Rey: i didn't wanted to disturb you and swayam

kriya: gosh! he's your friend, and there's nothing between him and me

Rey: Then why did you smile 12 times today and smirked once?

Kriya: u counted this? wait, were you stalking me?

Rey: Yes, and i have every right to do so

Kriya: WHAT kind of right? WHAT? YOU DON'T OWN ME REY!

Rey: Its because i Like you, damn it!

there was an awkward silence between them for a while.

Kriya: Need to talk rey. Now!

Rey: Exactly we need to talk..

Kriya: Lets meet then..

and she hung up

After requesting sharon to get her a photocopy of the notes after finishing hers she went to the field to meet rey. she saw him sitting at the end of the field she raced towards him. why was acting as if he owns her?

"hey" she said not smiling

"Hey yourself. i need the answer" he said not a single smile on his face.

"There is absoloutly NOTHING between me and swayam" she made clear he heard the word 'nothing' correctly

"I feel insecure when i see you and him together so friendly" he said his face hung low.

She had never seen This Possesive Rey before she cupped his face and said "Hey, chill. there's nothing. he's just a sweet friend, and why are you acting like my boyfriend?" she asked

"You even shouted at me" he said pouting

kriya laughed "You were driving me crazy, by talking nuisance" she said and took her hand back she suddenly realised he was sweating, sweat drops covered his forehead. Then she saw he was wearing a Sweater which covered all his arms and neck curosity filled her head and she was worried even if his tears burn his sweat drops would too! "Does your sweat burns too?" she asked "No, I'm not so abnormal" he said

"You're not at all abnormal, but why this full sleeve and all, huh?" she asked

"Why you were expecting me naked?" he chuckled

she punched him playfully..

"NO! i meant why all this full sleeve and stuff in this hot summer?" she asked

"Just like that" he said

She looked at him for a few seconds then spoke "rey, what're you hiding?"

"No..nothing" he said "You guys are going on a movie today?" he continued

"Don't try to change the topic and lie, you're bad at both the things!" she stated "tell me"

"Sorry" he said "I can't tell it now, it's a secret of our society" he said

"You can visit me like u did last time. remember?" she asked

"Yeah. i can try" he said his phone beeped "You mind if i?" he said kriya shook her head

"I think i need to go, will try to come at night. make sure no-one's at the room. Its a greater secret than you can imagine!" he said and left the place without another word and kriya was left confused. She asked swayam to submit her photocopied assighment and asked him to get two tickets of todays concert, she made sure swayam asks sharon to come with him to the concert. And so her mission was succesfully done! Room Empty!!

He entered the room with a fierce expression on his face he, was wearing a jacket again. she let him in from her windows (girls hostel! :P)

Kriya: Jacket!

Rey removed his jacket, in a fraction of minute and what kriya saw next was the most horrifying sight she had ever seen. Her mouth gaped open automatically and she couldnot let her eyes off him. What she saw were scars horrifying and terrible scars! she asked him to remove his shirt and when he did so kriya could not hold back tears, a tear escaped her eye. the scars weren't just one or two they were in plenty! and they proved that he was beaten carelessly. "This was the reason, i couldn't spend time with you since three days. actually.." but before he could complete he found a finger on his lips. "Come on, you can explain me later" she said taking his hands and taking making him sit on the bed she applyed anti-septic on his wounds but did not say a word. He knew what she was thinking "Kriya.." he said

"What?" she snapped not looking at him

"Won't you ask me how this happened?" he asked

"Care to explain?" she said abruptly again

"I was on for a mission given by elders, they asked me to spy on the vampires for 2 nights and days. but i got caught and this is what they did to me" he finished kriya packed up the anti-septic kit and kept it aside

"WHEN WILL YOU STOP PLAYING WITH YOUR LIFE?, WHAT IF SOMETHING HAPPENS TO YOU? HAVE YOU THOUGHT ABOUT ME? EVEN ONCE? WHAT WILL I DO IF YOU JUST WENT AWAY FROM ME?" she yelled and ended up crying bitterly

he didn't knew how to react, what should he say? what if he said something completely stupid. not knowing what to do he cupped her face "Hey, Hey, Hey it's allright" he said

she broke away from him..

"I can NOT afford to LOSE you rey. I can't! If something happens to you.." he didn't let her speak more..

"we don't care abt past, got it?" he said

"How many of them died?" she asked '

"45, You should thank god that i was left alive" he said

"Shut up, i'll get u a glass of water" she said and left wiping her own tears! after 5 minutes she came back and had a glass of water in her hand.

"What if i was one of them?" he said

She hugged him "Please don't say that" she said

Reys POV in red-

She fall asleep in my arms after a few seconds. i didn't knew what to do i stood there gazing her dreamily she was so difficult to describe, she had large eyes screamed to be loved, no, actually she has eyes of a month-old child -- Big and screaming for attention and affection, a perfect shaped nose, Flawless bright pink lips and beautiful complexion which can put photoshop to shame. she doesn't deserve a beast like me at all. I rest kriya's head on a pillow a base much more comfortable than my arms, I realise how lucky i am to be alive and to get her in my arms, i kissed softly on her cheek and got up.. i can't wake her up now, i wrote a note for her.

"I really enjoyed having you in my arms kriya, and ofcourse your Jhansi ki Rani one mode. I don't know what i would do without you. but i'm very lucky to be alive and having you in my arms. sorry for the tension i gave you last night and behaving that way. I hope to meet you today but can't commit anything..Don't pout now! go and dress and look beautiful as always... Good Morning Beautiful..!"
