Chapter 6

In sanyukta's room

Sanyukta was sitting by the window side staring into nowhere. Her eyes were swollen. She had been crying since a long time. She never felt so weak. She could see her dreams , her aspirations all crashing down right in front of her eyes. She was getting engaged in another few days. She would get married soon and leave everyone behind here. She dint want this to happen like this. She wanted to get marry but after she completed her engineering. But nothing could happen now. It was all over now. Fresh tears came out of her eyes.

He was devasted looking her. He had never seen her so weak. He had always known the fighter, the strong, and the hardworking sanyukta. He didn't know what was going wrong. His legs pulled him towards her. He put her hand on her shoulder. She panicked and looked around to see him in front of her. Her enemy. Someone she hated for all reasons. The reason why she was here in such a devasted condition. The moment their eyes met she got agitated. All the moments of randhir creating problems for her played in front of her eyes. She was hell angry. After all that he could do to harm her he was right in front her, for what to increase her troubles or rather spice the ones he had already created for her. He looked into her eyes. They were swollen; the tears weren't stopping at all.

R- Tum theek ho...

This angered her even more.

S- theek hu. (She spoke with anger in her eyes and pain in her heart) mai theek kaise ho sakti hu randhir. Mera sapna tod diya hai tumne.

R- maine ? maine kya kiya sanyukta. Tumhare ghar waale ko hi tumhari shaadi ki padi thi.

S- tum ... tum ne hi unn log ko yaha laye the. Maine kitni asaani se uss sameer ko shaadi ke mana karne ke liye convince kiya tha. Tumne uske kaan bhare. Tumne papa ko model ki sachayi batayi. Yeh sab tumhari wajah se hi toh ho raha haina randhir. ( she wiped her tears) yeh sagai, shaadi sab kuch. Jab se tum meri zindagi mai aaye ho tum ne mere liye sirf mushkile khadi ki hai. Tum kabhi kisi ka acha nahi soch sakte. Tum chale kyu nahi jaate meri zindagi se. (she said in between her sobs)

Randhir stood there quietly listening to her accusations. She was right . he felt responsible for putting her in this condition. He always wanted to stay away from her, but his heart always pulled him closer to her. Yes Randhir Singh Shekhawat had a heart. He did have feelings , emotions. He just never them out.

S- kuch dino mai meri sagai hai uske baad sab kuch khatam, mera sapna sab kuch khatam. bahut khush hoge na tum.

She started hitting him on his chest. Randhir held her hand and tried to calm her down. She was pushing him away.

S- sab tumhari wajah se hua, kyu aaye tum meri life mai.. chale kyu nahi jaate yaha se. Just leave, just go away.. go way ... Just go..

She pushed him and fell down on her knees. She was crying badly. Randhir just couldn't see her like that. He bent down to console her.

R- Relax sanyukta sab thee...

Before he could complete

S- (Sternly) I said leave randhir .. Leave my room right now.

R- san...

S- (Loudly) I said leave.

Randhir thought it would be better if he left her alone right now. He walked out of her room. He went quietly to his room. He thought... damnn yeh maine kya kardiya. Shit !! sanyukta ko meri wajah se itni problem yeh sahi nahi hai. He couldn't understand what was going within him. He was disturbed seeing her in such a condition. He went and lay on his bed. He had join office from the next day.

Next morning

He woke up with a start, he couldn't sleep properly the whole night. Sanyukta's accusations were revolving in his head. He sighed and got up. It was his first day of internship. He got freshend and went down for breakfast. He greeted everyone morning and sat down at the table. Sanyu's mom came and served him. Sanyukta walked down and went directly to the the kitchen to help her mom. She hardly spoke to anyone except her mom. Their eyes met. She remembered the last night, how she fell weak in front of him. Her eyes started to tear up. Not wanting repeat the situation she quickly had her breakfast and went back to her room. She was standing near the window looking out. She heard some noise and looked down , her brother , father and randhir were leaving for office. How badly she wanted to be there, help her dad in his work, take his company to new heights.. Randhir looked up to her window. She turned around not wanting to face him. She closed the window and sat on the bed.
