Sorry for the delay but I was caught up with Shetan Ka Ghar updates 😆😆😆 So here it is...one more thing...I want to thank you guys for giving me your suggestions...all were wonderful and each suggestion helped me take the story forward..so I will be taking each and every suggestion and someone incorporating them into the story...
So thank you to the person that gave me this idea for this update...where Geet will know the value of Maan in Ayush's life...sorry I cannot name the person since I forgot..but thank you!!!!😳

Chapter 28
Geet sat in her room. It has been a week since he left and not once did he call. Its not her fault that she can't trust him again. How can she after what he has done? Can she? There was always one fear that kept bothering her..stopping her from taking the next step..what if he does this again?
She lays on the bed...nowadays what if's have been running around in her head..what if he is changed? What if he cheats her again? what if he hurts Ayush? All of the questions she has no answer too...Will it help her after finding the answers to her questions? What will be her decision? Ayush comes and sits next to her with a sad face. She sits up and looks at him with a smile.
Geet: What happened?
Ayush: Papa didn't call yet. He has been gone for so many days now.
Geet: ohh am sure he will call soon. Maybe he is busy
Ayush: But still...I have some things to tell him
Geet: Ohh yeah what kind of things? (She tickles him)
Ayush (laughs) No its between us. We can't tell you. Mom stop..(he screams while laughing)
Geet (puts him on her lap) Okay now tell me what you want to tell him?
Ayush: woh I told you nah its between us.
Just then the phone rings. Ayush gets out of her lap and runs after the phone. Geet watches him as his excitement turns into sadness...it was for her. She gets out of the bed to attend the phone. Ayush walks away with a sad face. Geet took the phone from work. She didn't want to leave Ayush by himself at this state but it seemed like she had no choice. She quickly puts the phone down to get ready. She looks at Ayush..
Geet; Ayush beta I have to go to work. Why don't you go to the mansion and play with Annie.
Ayush: Okay
Geet walks Ayush to the mansion. She has never seen him so sad before. Usually he used to be sad when she was leaving now its the opposite. The day went by like a haze for Geet thinking about Ayush and his sadness. It bothered her to see him happy. Isn't that what she wanted his happiness? Does Maan really hold that much of an importance for Ayush? Will he be able to live without Maan? She still cannot bring herself to forgive him..she can't...she is just to scared..her fears have been taken over her...she had let her fears control her because she knew that is the only way she can protect herself.
She has never been able to trust another guy. Yes, there is Yash, her friend but even then she made sure there is great distance between that friendship. She made sure she doesn't get hurt like before with any man. She seems strong on the outside but deep inside she is vulnerable. She wants to be loved again but can't. She wants to get back all those emotions that she shunned away years ago but can't. She goes straight to the mansion and looks at Ayush. He was just sitting there holding a toy car aimlessly while looking at the phone. She sat next to Ayush and poked him. He looks at her with a forced smile. Dadima was still not back from her tour. NT was home alone since Dev had to manage the Khruana Constructions from here. She goes to the kitchen to help NT. She smiles at her.
NT: Geet when did you come?
Geet: Just now...let me help you.
NT: no Geet it is fine. You must be tired.
Geet (smiles) No its fine. I would tell you if I am tired.
NT: Okay you can start with the rotis then
Geet: Sure...(She starts kneading the aata...)
NT: So Geet...did Maan bhai called yet?
Geet: No...he hasn't it has been a week
NT (smiles) So you have been paying attention how long he has been gone for?
Geet (stops doing what she was doing and looks at her) No...woh...I mean..he hasn't called Ayush yet.
NT: ohh okay...maybe he is busy. He likes to keep himself like that. You know in the past six years I would only see him once a day in the morning only and sometimes we get lucky where he actually joins us for dinner. (Geet tries not to pay attention to her and does the roti but couldn't.) I don't know what is about work that he likes. Why he wants to keep himself so busy? Sometimes he would leave the house without eating his breakfast and/or come home very late where he doesn't have the energy to eat. Geet stops and looks at her shocked.) I just hope he is eating well at the trip. (The kids comes running in asking for juice. NT gives them what they asked before going back to cutting the vegetables.) Geet are you okay? (She looks at Geet who was still standing there still like a statue.)
Geet: huh umm yeah I am okay.
She goes back to doing the rotis. It was very difficult for her to feed Ayush since he didn't want to eat but after few attempts he finally ate but for some reason she wasn't hungry. She tried putting the food in her mouth but always stopped mid-way. Why? She tried questioning herself but couldn't find the answer...after dinner both retired back to the outhouse. She made Ayush sleep..while she retired back to her own room.

She lies down...closing her eyes..she opens her eyes immediatly when she felt a weight on the bed. She saw Maan looking at her with a smile. He leans closer and closer to her almost lying on top of her. She looks at him with tears...he wipes the tears away.

He hugs her...she closes her eyes feeling him. She went back to the days when they were newly married. She opened her eyes and found him gone. She sits uup looking for him. She was about to walk out of the room when she felt a tug on her arm. He pulls her into his embrace. He pushes her against the wall holding her hands above her heads. She lets him kiss her neck...he looks at her face with tears and hugs her...she was about to hug back when he disappears again...

She tried to walk away but he holds her hand pulling her toward him. He takes out the hair strand from her face..making her turn around. She tried to walk away but couldn't. He holds both her hands and begins dancing with her.

Main tumhaare hi dil ki toh awaaz hoon
He stops and places his hands on her heart...she looks at him with tears...He picks her up and lies her down on the sofa. He wipes her tears away...

She sits up and looks at him. He gets up from the sofa to walk away. She gets up to follow him but he is gone. She looks around the whole house for him but coudn't find him.

She was in the kitchen trying to make food. She was in the same state...just playing with the aata...she felt his hands coming around her waist...holding her hands...he helped her make rotis...he holds her by the waist as he kisses her neck...she turns around and hugs him...he dips her upper body while kissing her neck. He pushes her body against the counter..she holds the counter for support while Maan kisses her stomach.

She looks at Maan who begins walking away again...she follows him to the backyard...he sits on the swings..she sits next to him as if she is in a trance...she looks at him...with a sad smile...he kisses her eyes...she closes her eyes to feel his lips on her..she opens her eyes and saw him walking away. She runs after him...as he kept walking away...no matter how many times she tried catching up to him..he kept going farther and father away...she falls on her knees as he disappears.

She runs back up to her room straight to her bed crying. She looks up when she saw someone patting her...NT...she hugs her while crying...NT pats her back trying to sooth her...
