CHAPTER 4

It was 10 in the morning now. Sanyukta was still peacefully asleep under the effect of the medicine the doctor had given her. Randhir had spent the whole night looking at her he didn't even take a break for a second as if afraid that she would vanish if he closed his eyes for even a milli second.

Now he was busy collecting information about this new life sanyu had created for herself from every possible source. Her phone, laptop and diary were his biggest help. He didn't know how to go about his master plan.

She was not ready to see his face or listen to him. How would she ever come around to believing his love? Did she even love him anymore? He was second guessing himself. Was he justified to stay here and pursue her? As he was engulfed in his thoughts he felt sanyukta stir in his arms. Had she woken up ?

Randhir sanyukta murmured. tum aa gaye mere paas i missed you sooo muchhh.

There was a smile on her face. The prettiest smile he had ever seen. She looked so happy and peaceful. He could now make out that it she was still under the effect of the drugs the doc had given her. But still of all the people in world the name she took in her sleep was his. It bought hope to him again. The sound of his name from her lips was so sweet. He couldnt believe the happiness he felt at hearing her say his name.

Yes my love. Mai aa gaya for you and mai ab kabhi kahi nahi jaunga.

Saying this he hugged her burying his head in her hair.

This closeness to her was giving him a new strength. It was like he had come back to heaven again after being in hell for so long. But her hand was coming in between them. He didn't like it one bit. Even asleep she was clutching her hand holding it close to her heart. He got curious what was so dear to sanyu about that hand that she had it close to ther heart even in sleep? Randhir removed her hand and saw something that stunned him.Could it really be? He couldn't believe what he was seeing. He placed his arm beside hers to make sure he was seeing the same thing. And to his utter surprise it was the same.

Sandhir engraved in red tattoo ink with a black outline with two white shining stars adorned above their name.

Randhir smiled a smile he hadnt smiled in ages since the day she had left him. This was all the confirmation he needed to get the confidence for pursuing her. He lovingly looked at his sleeping beauty and gave her a light peck on the lips.

U got the tattoo after all didnt you sanyu. Har cheez mei mujhe competition dena zaruri haina tumhare liye.

With a smile on his lips he remembered the day he had gotten the tatto engraved on his hand. He laughed a hearty laugh remembering how freaked out she was. Her memories didnt pain him anymore with her beside him. They only gave him happiness.

Randhiirrr singhhh shekhawat you stupid moronic idiot she shouted hitting his shoulder as hard as possible while he looked on to her antics with awe.

She continued her rant when there was no response from him.

Who the hell do you think of yourself haan? sharukh khan ho tum? Pagal ho kya ? Ya koi hindi movie chal rahi hai yaha? Why the hell did you get this tatto you idiot. Kya zarurat thi to put urself through so much pain. U know i hate seeing you hurt dont you.

Okay okay calm down now he intervened seeing her getting overly emotional. Firstly mai mard hun...aur mard ko dard nahi hota he chuckled using the cliche hindi line..before she could come back with a clever retort he continued secondly and most importantly i wanted our names together forever..sanyukta randhir...sandhir...this way your always with me even when your not.

He had left her speechless. She just hugged him tight into a bone crushing hug to make him understand how much this gesture of his meant to her and how it had touched her heart. In that one hug randhir understood it all without any words.

When they parted she gave him his favorite smile.

I love you. And I love sandhir she said giving him a wink.

Randhir was happy seeing her happy about it. Finally he had got the reaction he had done it all for.

And what about the stars? she asked out of curiosity.

The stars denote our bright future. We'll be two shining stars sanyu. These are for our dreams and everything we want to achieve. Together. So what do you think of it nw? He asked smugly satisfied with himself for having convinced her.

By now she had tears of happiness in her eyes.

Its beautiful baby...Was all sanyukta could manage before she claimed his lips with hers pouring all her feelings and unspoken thoughts into the kiss. They finally parted when both of them were out of breath.

Mmm strawberry...i just love strawberry he said eying her strawberry flavored lips...its goanna be my favorite flavor for the rest of my life...waise what was that for? He asked pulling her closer to him onto his lap.

I know i am the best he said with a smirk. You know sanyu first mene socha tha to get no1 engraved instead of the two stars. Then i realised tum toh no 1 ho nai humesha mujhse haarti rehti ho. It wont suit you. So i settled for the stars.

He laughed out loud at the sudden change in her expression.

Arghhh. No matter what you will always be such an mcp she groaned in frustration. I am goanna kill you she said trying to get hold of his neck. But he was faster than her. And caught hold of her two hands and kissed her cheek. This calmed her down a little. So he continued.

Now counting this tattoo we are at 49-50 i am leading. As always you are loosing. And since tum tattoo banwa nai sakti being a delicate girl and all i dont think you are goanna get a chance to even the score anytime soon.

And then he gave her his best I am the best smug look. Which irritated her even further. How dare he say she couldn't match him in something.! He had awoken the tigress in her.

Kyun nai banwa sakti mai tattoo. I can do anything you do and i can do it better than you.

Always ready for a competition my sanyu he laughed. Chill i was just kidding. I dont want you to go through such pain to prove amything to me.I love you my tigress. Saying this he engulfed her into a hug. He always liked to keep her as close to himself as possible.

I love you too my mcp. She said smiling kissing his cheeks and finally resting her head on his heart. The place where she belonged. Sanyukta agarwal was a very happy girl that day.

Least did they know that this would be their last conversatiom as lovers and the next time they meet they would be strangers to each other. If only they had known everything would change after this day.

Randhir kissed the tattoo on sanyuktas hand finally coming out of his last sweet memory with her. He knew he had to go now. She would wake up anytime now and he didnt want to give her any strain by being before her when she did.

He left a note on the bedside lamp for her along with some fruits for her to eat when she got up and left for his place.

He was glad that he had arranged for an apartment and car for himself before coming to Mumbai. knowin how stubborn sanyu could be he knew his stay would be indefinite. But that was not the only thing he was happy about. The thing that made him happier was the fact that he had been lucky enough to get an apartment next to sanyuktas. Now he could see her daily. Plus with the other surprise he had in store for her randhir singh shekhawat was very excited for the coming days of his life. After ages he felt like randhir singh shekhawat rank no 1. He was sure and confident of himself. He would win his love in this battle for sure.

Sanyukta woke up at 12 in the afternoon. Her hand and head hurt and so did a few other places in her body which reminded her of her accident. She felt a bit hazy which meant she had been given medicines and she was in her own house. She was confused as to how she got here and about the happenings of the previous night. How did I get here she thought. The last thing she could remember was randhir. That's when her eyes fell on the note on her bedside. Along with some fruits at the side. She recognized the writing even before she picked it up. Him. She thought.

Randhir was eagerly waiting for some form of reaction from sanyukta. She must have woken up by now he thought and as if on cue he heard sanyukta breaking something and throwing stuff around in her house.

Randhir singh shekhawat you smug stupid MCP she shouted profanities at him at the top of her lungs as she completed reading the note. Randhir could hear her screams all the way till his apartment. He was literally lolling at how easy it was to get her all worked up. This was going to be fun he thought. You still are my sanyu no matter what you call yourself he said with confidence.
