CHAPTER 3

RECAP: SWARON KNOWING ABT TR PROB AND TAAREY SHIFTING IN THEIR NEW FLAT.

Soon swayam and Sharon left the flat and taani was busy in setting their wardrobe. Rey came into the bedroom searching for taani, and found her busy in mending their clothes in the wardrobe.

She was neatly folding his daily wear on one side and his formal wear on other side. She was mending his clothes first; a soft breeze blew into the black and white furnished bedroom. The curtains were flying due to the breeze and the silver wind chime was making a pleasant sound. Taani's hair started to disturb her face and she was making a cute pout getting irritated with that hair funk. Rey's eyes widened and his breath quickened at the scene which was in front of him.

His trance was disturbed by her sweet voice,

T: rey!

T: haan? (Coming out of his trance)

T: so, how is the flat?

R: I am feeling so nice and peaceful taani! I never thought in my wildest dreams that there would be such a harmonic place to live in.

She gave a soft smile and was again indulged in her work. Rey was lost in her, soon swayam called him

R: hey swayam! watsup?

Sw: hey rey! we just reached! So how's your new home?

R: cool yaar! Feeling very peaceful!

Sw: great! Actually I need to talk to you!

R: yup!

Sw: there is a deal regarding video games with another MNC, and we can't lose that, so I was wondering whether you can help me in this?

R: wow yaar! I should thank you for this opportunity!

Sw: but rey, there is a problem, well leave, I will solve it!

R: swayam its okay, say!

Sw: well as you are a new employee in our company now, but as you already lost in your own company, the MNC is demanding 3 crores on the safe side, so that if you make any mistake this time also, that 3 crores will help them in balancing the loss.

R: 3 crores???

Sw: hey! Chill! I will be arranging the money! Relax!

R: no swayam! you will not do that! You have already done a lot for me, and I already owe you so much! Swear on me, if you do anything like that!

Sw: rey, but listen once!!! If you succeed in this project you will be getting more than that amount, and you can return that 3 crores if you are not wishing to owe me anything. But please don't reject the money which I am arranging!

R: nothing doing swayam! I already am guilty for whatever happened in the past! I will arrange the money myself somehow, but you will not give me a single penny!

Sw: o, relax! But if the money is not arranged, just contact me. Don't hesitate!

R: okay!

Sw: bye!

R: bye!

Taani heard the whole conversation; she decided to help her husband as she knows that no one will help him, for whatever he faced in the past nor her mother in law will allow anyone to help him.

And he faced the same problem, whomever he asked money, that person agreed to give him but within one hour he used to get a call from that person with some or the other excuse that they cannot lend him the money.

After this all happened for more than 5 times, rey was so depressed and tired. It was dinner time and taani called him for dinner, rey was so disturbed that he was not having anything from his plate.

Taani went and sat beside rey; she took the food in his spoon and started to feed him. He ate the food for 4 to 5 spoons and simply walked out from that place.

Taani understood that he was getting emotional; she left the food and went inside. Rey was sitting on their bed with his palms covering his face; taani went and hugged him from behind.

Rey got up and he wiped his eyes, taani hugged him more tightly, rey dint respond but he was sitting like a statue there, his eyes brimming with fresh tears.

T: you are tensed about the money right?

R: why me taani? Why am I so targeted by everyone?

T: rey, promise me that whatever I say, you will listen to me.

R: what?

T: first promise me! I am going to say this for your sake!

R: promise!

T: rey, swear on me if you reject this offer! I have an amount of 3 crores in my fixed deposit which my father deposited when I was 8. He deposited 1 crore and that doubled for every 8 years, and it is 3 crores now as I am 24. So you will be taking that money!

R: no taani, I can't do this!

T: you promised me rey! And when you can swear on yourself so can I!

R: but taani!

T: no buts rey! You have all rights to use my money, you are my better half!

This sentence made him more emotional and they had a tearful eye lock.

Rey (mind): why do you love me so much taani?

T: now, let's eat! I am so hungry!

Rey had to eat for her sake, he was not hungry after what all he went thru.

They both slept on their soft new bed, which was neither small nor large, rey's eyes were so heavy urging for sleep and then taani came and slept beside rey. She gave a soft smile to rey and wished him good night.

Soon they dozed off to sleep

Next morning

Taani woke up first and freshen up, she made 2 mugs of coffee and went to the bedroom. She was amazed as rey was asleep for a long time and assumed that he needed sleep after a stressful day, she tried to wake him up and called out his name, but no response. She saw a swear drop on his forehead and when she wiped it off, she understood that he was boiling with high fever!
