CHAPTER 2

RECAP: TAAREY TALK AND SWARON TO THE RESCUE

Sw: jijaji, I am not asking you but telling you. You will definitely shift to a safe place and I will help you in doing that tomorrow. And it's not safe for both of you to be in the middle of the road in the night, so just come and no arguments.

Sh: you both get into the car and I will make our servants to bring the luggage.

Taarey were left with no option and had to leave the place.

They reached the Shekhawat mansion and then got down the car. The servants brought their luggage inside and taani and rey were stopped at the entrance by Sharon.

Sharon brought aarti to welcome taani and rey and both came inside. Rey was feeling so light after seeing their concern towards him. Taarey were given their room and rey was lost in his thoughts. Taani went and sat beside him.

T: Rey! You are not able to sleep?

R: I don't feel like sleeping, I feel so insulted. I don't know how to make up for my mistake!

T: time heals everything rey! You need sleep now. We should shift in our new house tomorrow!

R: new house? Which house?

T: one of the properties is on my name of a 3 bedroom flat; it was given to me on my marriage by bro's dad.

R: we are going there?

T: yes! Why?

Rey's face saddened.

T: rey? What's wrong?

R: I don't know, now I am feeling guilty!

T: what for?

R: that I am not able to even give you a shelter.

T: rey! It's not like that! You are capable enough to give me everything. But it's the testing time. Now let's sleep.

He lay on the bed and was still very upset; taani lay on the other side and covered them with the quilt. Rey tried to sleep but he couldn't he was turning on his right and his left. He turned to his left and opened his eyes in irritation that he is not able to sleep. But he discovered something.

Rey Voice over:

Pink? No peach? No pink? No peach!! Which color is it exactly?

Rey! Have you gone nuts? Why you so bothered about which color her face is? He turned to the other side, but in a small corner of his heart there is an urge to look at her continuously. He couldn't help and he turned towards her.

He slowly woke up and bent forwards and studied her face, her face was shining in the moon beam which was coming from the window of their room. She was looking no less than a fairy, the pink quilt was reflecting on her face mildly giving her face the peach effect on her face along with the moon light making her look more beautiful. Her dark kohl eyes and her pink lips were adding beauty to her face.

Moreover, even a toddler's face wouldn't be so cute while sleeping, her cuteness, innocence were adding a magical effect in the room.

"Why is she so good?"

He was staring at her like that and he dozed off.

Next morning:

Taani was moving in her sleep, and she found something was touching her forehead. She opened her eyes and found a very cute scene in front of her, rey's forehead was in contact with hers and a cute childish pout was on his face.

Taani smiled and put her palm on his cheek, adoring his face. As soon as she moved in her sleep even rey opened his eyes and taani withdrew her hand suddenly. Rey felt bad somehow but brushed off his feeling. He gently said

"Good morning"

Taani was surprised! He never wished on his own, as he used to be in a hurry everyday getting ready for his office, or maybe he just wished because he is free today. She was staring at him with a surprised look and rey was amazed at her.

He turned back to check whether she was staring at something else, but he was now sure that it was him. He waved his hand in front of her and she came out of the trance.

R: taani, why are you so amazed at a good morning? What happened?

T: good morning!

Meanwhile there is a knock at the door.

Taani went and opened the door looking at a smiling Sharon with two cups of coffee for them, taani greeted her with a smile and

Sh: good morning taani, good morning rey!

Taani and rey: good morning!

Sh: you both get ready! We are going to your flat rey! Servants will carry your luggage to the car in the meantime.

R: my flat? But its taani's na?

Sh: come on! What makes the difference? It's obviously the same as yours!

Taarey were ready and came to the dining table for their breakfast.

They sat down greeting good morning to swayam, who was busy reading the newspaper.

When Sharon was serving the aaloo paratha in rey's plate and when she served the curry, there were peanuts in it.

Before rey could eat it taani stopped him and said Sharon that

T: Sharon! Rey has peanut allergy, pls remove them. Or serve some pickle instead of curry.

Rey dint notice that and he looked at taani, he thought how she would be so careful in his matters. Sharon put some pickle in his plate and he had his breakfast.

Everyone was off to the flat which was around 7 km away from their home. Taani and rey were in the passenger seat and Sharon was beside swayam in the front seat.

Taani was sitting so far from rey, swayam took a sharp turn making taani slide on the seat towards rey and she slammed onto rey.

R: swayam, careful yaar!

T: jijaji! I can't help it. There are many more turns to come. Taani, hold him tightly.

Taani held his arm tight and clasped her hand into his. Rey also clasped his fingers with hers. Both were feeling complete in each other's embrace. Taani rested her head on his shoulder and rey adjusted her on himself.

He felt an urge to hug her tightly on his chest but the situation was not so appropriate, he was feeling sad that he couldn't give her any happiness which a girl deserves in her married life.

Soon, after 45 minutes, they came out of their Loveland and reached their flat.

As soon as everyone entered their flat, rey was amazed looking at the beauty of the interior design. The whole house was beautifully furnished and was only with either black or white furniture and even the dcor was of either black or white.

Taani was admiring the room and rey went inside to check the rooms in the flat. Meanwhile taani narrated the whole problem which they faced in their home and swaron understood everything. They only promised that, they will be helping rey out of his problem and right now, let him be for himself and don't force him to do anything.

Sw: relax taani! Everything will be alright soon!
