The next update is longer and it will posted by day after, anytime of the day. It will be the second to last update before the epilogue. I know you guys have enjoyed the updates. Chapter 43
Loose ends...

Light breeze comforted
them as they sat in each other's arms, staring at the sun slowly rising above
the clouds, creating a brilliant halo as if setting the sky on fire. That night
neither of them slept because finally reality had become more magical than the
endless dreams and nightmares that had slaughtered them. For so many years,
dreams and the woven tales had comforted these childhood sweethearts, keeping
alive a hope that was a silver lining of their pitch dark lives. Now that they
had found each other again, the light that had been extinguished from their
lives had been rekindled and the twinkle shone in their eyes.
Arnav was caressing
Khushi's hands, staring at her long beautiful fingers when a thought crossed
his mind. He turned her towards him and asked, "you still have that weird wish
of that fairy tale wedding that you used to bore me with every single opportunity you got?"
Khushi squinted at him
irritatedly, "that was not a weird wish or boring. I still wish that it was
real."
"Thought so," Arnav
smiled, "I was wondering how a ring would look on your finger. They are damn
beautiful..."
Khushi blinked a few
times before she understood what Arnav was talking. She sat upright and stared
at him, with her mouth almost open, "what did you just say?"
"I said your wishes
are my command," Arnav smiled.
"That means... you are?"
Khushi gulped down, knotting her fingers, hoping in every particle of hers to
hear those words from him.
Arnav got up on his
knees, held his Chippu's hands and stared into her eyes, "Chippu, from the time
you were born, your hands have always been in mine. Want to continue that run a
little longer?"
Tears made their way
out of her eyes as she stared at the man who was her life. Words failed her as
she saw an ocean deep of feelings in his eyes. Something that was only meant
for her. Arnav caressed her cheeks and asked again, "Chippu, will you marry
me?"
She just nodded and
hugged him, bursting into tears as she saw one more of her dreams becoming a
reality. Arnav clutched her tightly and whispered in her ears, "I love you..."
and it was the most magical, most melodious words she had ever heard someone
say to her. She clutched him tighter and whispered "I love you more," to which
Arnav just smiled and replied, "I know..."

Akash came out of a
corner to find the road completely deserted. He felt Diya was still playing
with him when he heard a loud screech of car tires and turned to find Diya in a
bulky SUV, yelling at him, her voice being muffled by the closed windows. Two
guys were next to her, laughing. He had seen them somewhere. For a minute,
Akash felt like ground beneath his feet had opened up. In fear of something
happening to Diya, he just forgot that there was a crutch in his hand and took
to a full sprint behind the car. But no matter what he did, he couldn't catch
up to them. He fell, he fell hard on the ground as tears made their way out of
his eyes. He sat there helpless as Diya was snatched away from him. He could
still see her struggling. But he was completely exhausted to even move one
step.

Ariadne woke up to see
the darkness and for a minute, freaked out thinking about where she was. Then
it came to her; she was in India. She had come to find the love of her life. As
soon as NK's name crossed her mind, she got up from the bed and made her way to
the hotel reception to see and find out any sort of contact about NK. She knew
it was futile because no hotel reception would have details about NK. Why would
they; but somehow doing something was better than nothing. But as she had
expected, she was out of luck from the hotel people and she just walked out of
the hotel, feeling desperate and lonely.
Her daughter's memory
was still fresh in her mind. Her death was something that would haunt her
forever and her screams when she got hurt were like thousand hot knives
piercing her heart. She knew her princess would never fade away from her but
the sorrow could be a little bearable if NK would be with her. She needed to
find him soon but she was out of options to do anything without knowing anyone,
without the local language. All she had was his photograph and she hoped in all
her heart that someone here would have seen him somewhere and that would give
her a clue of where she could find him.
As she walked alone in
a deserted road near the hotel, she heard a screech and startled, turned to see
what it was. What she saw made her freeze on the spot and a struggling hand
touched her in a flash before it was pulled inside the SUV again. In the
darkness, no one in the car saw anything but she knew what she saw and she ran
behind the car, trying to find out more. An auto rickshaw came at the right
moment. She flagged it down and asked the driver to follow the SUV silently.

Diya was hell scared.
She didn't know who it was who had taken her captive, but she knew one thing.
It was bad business. Her phone was with her mother, she had no way of
contacting anyone. She was sweating all over, trying to free herself from an
iron clasp. Having no other way to escape out of the car, she fell silent and
started hatching another plan. No one messed with her. Just no one.

Anjali sat down
tiredly, with Vinay next to her. They were in the hospital. The doctor had come
out and said that Khushi's dad was alright and they could discharge him soon.
Akash was nowhere to be seen and she assumed he was out chatting with Diya.
Anjali had guessed something was cooking between them long back. Akash was
recovering swiftly with Diya around and that happiness was evident in his face.
She too was happy. Arnav was happy, Lavanya looked happy, Akash was happy.
Finally everything seemed right. Everyone were happy except for her Vinay.
He sat there, looking
lost. He was still under the guilt. She truly felt sorry looking at him. She knew,
he was fine until she cut him off. He was confident that somehow he would ask
Arnav's forgiveness. But when she turned away from him, he was shattered. Anjali
was his life. He had everything for her happiness and when she failed to
recognise that in the wake of Arnav's suffering, it broke him completely.
She held his hand,
looking with teary eyes. He responded to her touch and slowly turned to face
her, words failed them as they sat in eerie silence. This silence was
uncomfortable for neither of them were comfortable in their own skin. But the silence
was shattered when Vinay's phone rang. It said Akash. Vinay smiled and
excitedly received the call but he received a shock when Akash said "Bhai," in
a voice that was a mere shadow of his own self.
"What happened Akash?"
Vinay's hands were shaky. Anjali could sense the growing fear in him.
"Bhai someone took
Diya away..." Akash replied and Vinay got up and once and left, Anjali hurrying
behind him, not knowing what was happening.

Lavanya was leaning
against NK, thinking. The conversation she had shared with Akash still played
in her mind. Chris was sitting a little away from, all the while staring at
her. His eyes held a lot of love. She could see it. But she waited. She needed
to hear that from him, until then there was no use having hope. She wasn't in a
position to trust again for she had been disappointed too many times. But somewhere,
in the corner of her heart, she knew he would tell because eyes never lied.
NK was caressing her
face, "Di, you look lost. What happened?"
"I dunno..." she
whispered. "I am confused."
NK was about to tell
something when something made him stop. Looking up, Lavanya saw Vinay and
Anjali running somewhere. Vinay looked scared. Nk and lavanya looked at each
other before jumping up. Chris too did the same. Payal had noticed Chris and
she too hurried outside to see what was the confusion. Her mother and aunt were
inside the ward talking to her dad. She approached them and asked, "NK what is
the matter?"
"I dunno," he said and
took off behind Vinay with the rest of them following him.
Miles away, Khushi's
phone rang and fell silent.
Missed call from an
unknown number and the celebration was halted mid way...
PRECAP:
VINAY!!!! Anjali screamed.

Sorry for commenting so late life is still very busy right now but able to get little time to read update. It was mind blowing. Finally arnav proposed Khushi. But it looks like Shyam's chapter is not over yet. Did he kidnapped Diya? After a long time they were relaxed a bit but this incident is very disturbing. Thank for awesome update and welcome back.A very happy new year to you and your family members.Thanks for PM dear.

Awesome update - action filled !! Diya getting kidnapped, NK's ex following the SUV !! Khushi and Arnav getting engaged was super !! Looking forward to the next update !! Wonder if Vinay will also land up in the kidnapper's area and get himself injured trying to save Diya !! Looking forward to NK and his ex meeting !! Wonder how she will help Diya !! Story is becoming really interesting. Wish you and your family a merry Christmas and a very happy new year !! 😳

I liked Arnav and khushie finally coming together but Divya has become the target again I guess by Shyam and his partner ,hope you really get them out hope Vinayak does it get hurt in the process looking fwd to how you close all the loops and also want Payal and her mom and aunt to get their just desserts for the way they treated khushie and Divya .

Loved itI loved arnav's unique proposalBut now diya is kidnapped. Ariadne saw it happen and she is following them. I guess she will get to meet nk through this. Will be waiting for the next update
