Milind and Prachi went for a long drive till the late evening. By the time they reached home it was almost night. Prachi was nearly exhausted and Milind was in the state of ready to hit the bed any time. Prachi was feeling thirsty, so she went straightly towards the fridge, seeing her going towards the fridge Milind wearily climbed upstairs to get freshen up quickly before Prachi came. Milind was leaning to the bedrest and was doing something with the laptop, when Prachi entered the room. "I think you are really exhausted and I find you doing something other then taking rest." Prachi sat beside him. "I'm waiting for you actually." Milind replied not caring to lift his head from the laptop. "ok then I'll get freshed up", she stood up and try to move away from there seeing Milind busily working on the laptop. But she felt some pulling her, she turns and finds it was Milind's hand, clutched to her tightly and pulling her towards him and his face was still facing the laptop. "you are not going anywhere." "why…..", Prachi asked him seeing him, rather puzzled. "I need to change my saree." She added while getting up again. "you need not to go, I'll help you, in removing your jewellery." Milnd pulls her back again and starts removing her jewellery, keeping the laptop aside. He then removes the pin from her pallu, which was pinned but Prachi stops him by putting her hand over his. "no, Milind." "why, don't worry I'm not going to spoil your saree. If in that case I will get you another saree." He pulls her towards him, after lossening her pallu from her shoulder and kisses her before she could protest.

It was almost late midnight, when was disturbed from the sleep. She slowly got up, not disturbing Milind, switched on the lights, poured some water from the jug and drank it. She turned towards Milind and started staring at him,brushing his hair. She jerks her hand, seeing him stirring in his sleep, but it was caught by Milind's hand. "why did you take your hand away from me." She could hear him, mumbling with his eyes closed. She places her head on his chest, Milind then slowly opens his eyes and starts soothing her hair. "Milind can I ask you something." "what"replied Milind enjoying her closeness. "nothing Milind, I think you won't approve of it." "what it is I will approve everything when my wife asks. So tell me what do you want." Milind replied. "I want to visit my parents." Prachi sat up, getting up. "it had 4 long months, since I saw them. After our marriage we didn't even visit or rang up and asked about their well being once also. If you say yes, tomorrow we both can pay a visit." "if it is like this, you can go." "Milind what about you then", asked Prachi rather puzzled. "I have an important meeting tomorrow. So pay a visit your parents, ok" Milind lied to her. The real reason is that he did not want to step into that house where his enemy lived. "but on one condition, Prachi", this made prachi to think about. "we will be having our lunch together somewhere outside. Ok", "ok Milind." "are you happy, now." "yes Milind." "then catch up some sleep, it's already 1'o clock." Both slept hugging each other, after switching off the lights.

In the morning, Prachi was excited to go see her parents, after a long time after her marriage. She sees Milind entering the room. She smiles to him looking at him from the mirror. He just hugs from the back, making her some tickling sensation. "so my wifey is so excited visiting her parents." Prachi just smiles, blushing all the way. "ok come on, I'll drop you there and go to the meeting, now come down soon and have breakfast. It's ready." Milind frees and about to leave the room, but stops hearing Prachi. "by the way you did not prepare the breakfast na." "why……." Milind stood there for sometime thinking, "nah, I didn't. actually it was Ramu kaka. He's just back from his vacation." Milind replied. "don't worry, about the messing of the kitchen, this time we would have targeted Ayesha ."Milind humoriously added. "now what are your thinking, come down now." Milind pulled Prachi downstairs. After breakfast, Milind drove her towards Shah mansion. He stopped infront of the gate. "Prachi are you sure you want to go in. there is no chance for changing your mind. Think, you have few minutes, from here we can go somewhere else, what say." "no Milind, it's a matter of few hours. If you miss me soo much why can't you also come inside with me." "sorry prachi I could have come in if I won't have that meeting. But see Prachi, be ready for my call. You should come out and wait for me, as soon as I call you ok." "ok". Prachi kisses Milind on his cheek and try to get out of the car, but Milind pulls her back, "hey Prachi, your purse, poor thing, this one will also misses you alot as I miss you alot if you won't take it with you." Prachi just smiles and pulls her purse from her and runs inside. Milind also smiles and speds the car from that place.

Prachi enters the house and finds her mother waiting for her, as she informed her mother earlier that she was coming. She rushes towards her and hugs her. "ma…. I missed you a loooooooot." Both breaks from the hug, "is it so", her mother questions her, "so if you missed me soo much, then why didn't I get any phone from you, huh. And you tell me that you missed so much." Prachi, pleadingly pulls her ears. "ok, ok, I forgave my daughter, then what's more, how's your life and all." Her mother asks taking her towards the sofa. "you know one thing" both of them turns towards the direction from where the voice came. It was Alaap, who just got down the stairs. "your daughter and her husband had created a small paradise around them and are very very very happy." Alaap says while hugging Prachi. "so you were visiting them now and then without telling me. It's too bad." She twisted Alaap's ear. "sorry mom, actually I go directly from the office to their house. But I promise I will take you there the next time I go, ok." Alaap frees himself from his mother. "ok, by the way how is my son-in-law. Why didn't he come along with you." "it's actually, ma…." "he has some meeting in his office so he couldn't make it. If not, why does Milind leave Prachi, for such a long time." Alaap interrupted Prachi, and trying to pull her leg, gives a slight hugs Prachi. All of them sits on the sofa, placing Prachi in between them and started talking about Prachi's married life. Prachi was very happy, being with her mother but her eyes were constantly searching for someone around the house.

"ma, I can't find dad where's he." Prachi asked them innocently. "I wanted to to scold him for not attending my calls and not speaking to me properly." Both Alaap and their mom looked at each other, with sad faces, fearing inside that some thing might happen when Prachi sees Inder's reaction, seeing her there. "I think he had gone to meet his friends I think so." Said her mother trying to cover the fact he is at home. Before Prachi could ask more about her father, her cell rings. She picks the cell, after answering it she disconnects it. "ma, I need to leave. I promised Milind that I and he would lunch together." She kisses her mom on her cheeks and rushes towards the entrance. But she stops seeing her father entering the house. A small curve of smile appears on her face……. "dad it's just a perfect timing. After a long time I'm seeing you dad. Come on dad I know you are angry with me. Forgive na, for that one." she pauses for sometime at looks at her father surprised, as his expressions didn't show any happiness after seeing her there. "dad your daughter is standing here and still now you did not give a warm hug that you used to give me before." "but now you are no longer my daughter, Mrs Prachi Mishra." His reply came like sudden jolt of fire towards her. She did not expect that her father would behve with her like this. "dad but….." "ahhhh what are you doing here anyway. I don't think that your husband like you being around this and how come you are here today." Her interrupts her. "but" "no buts, just leave my house." "dad, I'm your daughter…" "no you are not." "then why did you marry me to him, if you don't like him." "it's none of your business." Inder shouted at her. Both Alaap and his mother were staring at them surprisingly excepting some like that. "so I'm thinking that you should be leaving the house now." "dad listen to me please, sorry dad, but don't joke like this. Enough of joking." Prachi's tears started rolling on her cheeks. "do you think I'm joking. Ok it's the limit. I don't want any stranger entering my house without my permission." He holds Prachi's arm and drags all along the hallway and pushes her out of the house. "don't ever show your face to me." Prachi didn't understand what was happening around. She thought it was a dream, but it was real. It was a fact that her father now not accepting as his daughter. She didn't even understand her father once loved her soo much, now could not stand her a moment alos. She was in a grave shock, thinking about the events that took a minutes ago from the. She dragged herself slowly into the garden and sat there on the bench. She was badly shaken thinking about the incident. She could not understand why her father was behaving like that and could not stop crying thinking about that.
