Chapter 18
Here is the next update...
Naina had reached nainitaal and she found out that her work will wait at least two weeks. She called up Gunny and told him everything. Gunny told her that it will be no problem for that. He didn't tell her about where they were.
Abhi had called up Gunny to come and meet him. He informed Vidya and left from there. Shikha and Vidya went to the hospital for her regular check up so Ritu also accompanied them as she wanted to talk to her doctor as well.
Raj was alone in the house with Khushi. Khushi was playing video games with him. Raj was enjoying each and every moment with her. After an hour, Khushi told Raj that she was hungry.
Raj carried her to the kitchen and asked that what she wanted to eat.
Khushi- I want to eat the sandwitch just like mom makes.
Raj- Ok and then he made the sandwitch for her.
Khushi sat in his lap and started eating from his hands. Raj very lovingly fed her.
Khushi- Friend, aap ko kaise pata ki mom aise hi sandwitch banati hai...
Raj- Because she used to make same sandwitch for me.
Khushi- Lekin maine to kabhi nahi dekha.
Raj- Kyonki us waqt aap apni mom ke paas nahi the.
Khushi- To hum kahan the?
Raj- Bhagwan ke paas, aur jab aap ki mom ne aap ko bhagwan se manga to phir unhone aap ko aap ki mom ke paas bhej diya.
Khushi- Kya hum bhagwan se jo mange wo hum ko dete hai?
Raj- Aap ko kya chahiye?
Khushi- Mere papa!!!
Raj looked at her with confusion.
Khushi continued- Hum bhagwan se kahenge ki wo hamare papa hamare paas bhej de aur phir jab papa aa jayenge to hum kahenge ki wo hum ko chod kar kahin na jaye...
Raj- Aap apne papa se kabhi nahi mile?
Khushi- Nahi kyonki wo hum se pyar nahi karte. Friend, aap mama se poochenge ki hamare papa hum se pyar kyon nahi karte? Mama hum ko nahi batati.
Raj hugged her and told her that he will ask her mom.
Khushi- friend, kya aap papa ko mere birthday se pehle le aayenge?
Raj- Bachcha, hum aap se vaada karte hai ki hum aap ke papa ko aap ke birthday se pehle le aayenge. Lekin aap ne hum ko bataya hi nahi ki aap ka birthday kab hai.
Khushi(smiled)- Ha wo to hum bhul hi gaye. Gunny chachu ne kaha tha ki hamara birthday 10 days baad aayega. Phir badi party hogi and I will be five years old.
Raj looked at her smiling and made her finish her sandwitch. After the food, he had also made her drink milk. Khushi was playing with him the entire day.
After five hours, everyone was back and Shikha made dinner for everyone as Abhi, Nandini and others were coming for dinner. After the dinner, everyone left and Raj enjoyed taking care of Khushi. He loved being with her and Ritu had observed that entire evening. She was genuiely happy for the first time in her life for Raj. Raj saw Gunny taking a stroll in the park and Raj decided to join him.
Raj- Hey Gunny, how was your day?
Gunny- Very good... sorry yaar, I leave you alone to take care of Khushi but...
Raj- Hey not a problem. I love being with her, but I want to ask you a question.
Gunny- what question?
Raj- About Khushi's father. I mean how come she hasn't meet him even once in her life. I want to know about Naina's life after you guys left for Delhi.
Gunny- I am sorry Raj, but you should ask Naina about this not me...
Raj(angrily)- Khushi wants to meet her dad so badly and you guys don't even have any care of that child's feelings. But I had promised her that she will celebrate her birthday with her dad and that is going to happen this year.
He left from there and Gunny smiled.
He called up Abhi and told him- Phase-I complete...
Abhi- great then, I will tell Huda, Aalekh and Ali to work on the next phase.

Gunny went up to his room and told Vidya about the developments of their plan and Vidya was very happy too.
Ritu had overheard Gunny's conversation with Abhi because as soon as she saw Raj's angry face she knew something was wrong. She had come outside to ask Gunny and hear his conversation.
Next day, Abhi and Gunny were meeting at a restaurant and Ritu had followed them there.
Abhi- Tujhe kya lagta hai Gunny, usko apne aap pata chalega kya...
Gunny- Hum Raj ko hints dete rahenge kyonki hum ne Naina se vaada kiya hai ki hum usko kuch bata nahi sakte...
Abhi- I feel really bad because Raj is with his daughter and he doesn't even know about that. And Khushi, she wants her papa so badly but the truth is that her best friend is her father.
Ritu was shocked to know that Khushi was Raj's daughter. She had tears in her eyes as she had commited one more sin by separating a sweet innocent child from her father.
Ritu(to herself)- I had only commited sins until now but I am going to make everything okay. Raj, Naina and Khushi will have their happiness. Mere marne se pehle main is parivaar ko zaroor milaungi aur us ke liye sab se pehle mujhe Abhi aur Gunny se baat karni hogi.
She had decided and she went up to their table. Both Abhi and Gunny were shocked to see her.
Ritu- I heard everything and I know everything. I know you all hate me but this time please listen to me once.
Abhi- Go ahead...
Ritu had shown her reports and told everything about her cancer. Gunny and Abhi felt bad despite they hated her.
Ritu- All I ask is one last chance. I want to re-unite them.
Gunny- You do know that Naina hates you the most. She won't let her anywhere near Khushi or herself.
Ritu- I know but I will not let anyone down this time.
Gunny- I am sorry about your condition.
Ritu- Don't be. I am not anymore...
Abhi had told others about the update. Everyone wasn't agreed at first but then they had said 'yes'.

At Nainitaal:
Aalekh, Ali and Huda had entered the city and went to the place where Naina was staying.
They had met Naina and she was very surprised to see them there.
Naina- Tum log yahan pe?
Ali- Wo hum ko Gunny sir ne bheja hai. Aap ka kaam jaldi khatam karne. Kyonki phir hum sab mil kar Khushi ka birthday manayenge.
Naina- Yeah, that's great. Thanks for coming but Huda an Aalekh didn't go back to Mumbai...
Aalekh- wo apun dono ko bhi Khushi ka birthday party main shaamil hona tha aur baki sab ko bhi to Gunny sir aur Vidya ma'am khushi ko Mumbai le kar gaye hai aur wahin pe uski birthday party manayege.
Naina was shocked to hear that but she composed herself and told them to settle down while she had made a phone call to Gunny. After almost an hour, Gunny had convinced her that it's the last time and it's for Khushi's happiness.
Naina(to herself)- Kyon Raj, jitna main tum se door jana chahti hoon, kismat mujhe tumhare kareeb le aati hai. I don't know ki zindagi mujh se ab chahti kya hai....
On the other hand in Mumbai:
Ritu had asked the lawyer and already prepared the divorce papers. She had signed them already and handed those papers to Abhi because she wanted to leave right after she unite Raj and Naina. She had decided to spend last days of her life in a facility where they do good charity work for needy people.
Raj was continuously trying to talk to Naina but everytime someone kept bothering him and he couldn't call Naina.

Raj spent most of his time with Khushi for past seven days. Khushi's birthday was after three days and he still didn't talk to Naina and neither Gunny nor Vidya wanted to talk on this matter.
Raj(to himself)- I don't know who that person is but whoever he is. I am going to bring him back in your life Naina... You deserve to be happy and so is Khushi. Agar tum dono main doorie meri wajah se aayee hai to main us ko khatam karne ki poori koshish karoonga.
Raj laid down on his bed thinking about the moments he spent with Khushi and with Naina. He was thinking that Khushi was just like him. She liked whatever he liked. Her habits had matched his habits.
Suddenly Raj got up from the bed when he remember Khushi's words: "She is going to be five year old after two days" He remembered her breakfast habit. She didn't like milk. He remembered his blood group matching hers.
Raj(to himself)- Khushi will be five years old after two days and he remembered the night when he made love to Naina nearly five years and nine months ago.
He closed his eyes as he realized everything, and tears were coming out of his eyes. He ran up to the room where Khushi was sleeping peacefully hugging her teddy bear.
He looked at her with teary eyes and whispered: Papa aap se bahut pyar karte hai... Papa ko pata nahi tha ki aap ke bare main warna Papa aap ko ya mama ko kabhi akela chod kar nahi jate...

Finally we got the ud for what we were waiting for so long na. Raj aur Naina k beech ki duriyan mitane k liye jo kuch bhi Abhi n Gunny ne kiya that is brilliant and i wish ki kaash sab k aise hi dost ho. Gunny aur Abhi ka Khushi ko apne dad se milane ka plan bhi sucessful ho hi gaya . Now Raj knows that she is his daughter. Naina ko bhi convience karna pada ki is baar vo apna bd Raj k paas celebrate karegi. the update was very nice... Raj is happy to spend time with khushi...it makes him very happy. The conversation between them was very sweet. Raj finds out that khushi has never seen her father... It is good to see that for once ritu is not being selfish and thinking of doing a good deed. I hope that everything works out. She has also signed the divorce papers. Finally raj figures out that khushi is his daughter. He is both shattered and overjoyed at the same time.... Waiting to see what happens when raj speaks with naina about this...please jaldi se update kar do....
