Hola.

I received some complaints saying there was no TaaRey in the last part. I hope this makes you happy.

Part 47

Rey was sitting in front of the television switching channels. His phone was continuously ringing. He kept ignoring calls from Taani. He had to come in the right frame of mind before talking to her. After a while the doorbell rang. He went to open the door.

Rey: Taani?

Taani was standing outside his door shivering in the cold. He got her in and made her sit covering her with warm clothes. He went in the kitchen to make some hot coffee for her. He came out to find her sitting still with a far off gaze.

Rey: Coffee.

She moved her head saying no.

Rey: Taani coffee le lo, you'll feel better.

Taani: Aap jab tak mujhe maaf nahi karte tab tak mein kuch nahi lungi.

Rey: Kis baat ke liye maaf karu?

Taani: Rey voh mein darr gayi thi. Isiliye..

Rey: Isiliye tumne vo sab kaha. I know.

Seeing her in front of him instantly calmed him down. He made her drink coffee. She looked in his eyes which told her that no matter what he loves her a lot.

Taani: Aap mujhse naraaz nahi hai?

Rey: Nahi hoon.

Taani: Kyun?

Rey: Tumhe bura lag raha hai ki mein tumse naraaz nahi hoon?

Taani: Bura nahi. But I'm confused.

Rey: Pehle tum yeh coffee khatam karo fir hum baat karte hain.

Rey moved to his room to get some warm covers for him. Taani followed him.

Taani: Rey aap mujhe ignore kyun kar rahe ho?

Rey: Because I've realized that I was wrong and I also didn't want you to face this stupid anger that had built up inside me.

Taani: But galati toh mujhse hui hai na?

Rey: Mein uss baare mein nahi keh raha.

Taani: Phir?

Rey: Mein uss decision ki baat kar raha hoon jo humne liya tha. I don't think it was right to keep our relation a secret. I really want to tell everyone that you are mine.

Taani came forward and cupped his face making him look at her.

Rey: Tumhare haath itne thande kyun hai? Kitni der se tum bahar thi?

Taani: Tch, that's not important.

Rey: I'm such an idiot. Tumhara phone utha lena chahiye tha. Tum itni der bahar kyun khadi thi when I was ignoring your calls? You could have caught cold.

Taani: Rey.. Rey.. REY! Listen to me. I'm fine. Mujhe kuch nahi hua hai. Aur voh decision jo humne liya tha, I agree now ki galat tha. Isiliye mein soch rahi hoon ki hum unhe sab sach batayenge. Okay?

Rey: I'm really sorry.

Taani: It was never your fault so stop apologizing.

Rey: But mein bhi bina wajah ke tumse naraaz tha.

Taani: You had a reason Rey. Mujhe mumma se vaise nahi kehna chahiye tha. I know ki aapko uss baat ka bura laga.

Rey: That did hurt me but it didn't give me the reason to behave this rudely with you. Mein khud nahi jaanta ki mein tumhe ignore kyun kar raha tha.

Taani: Abh voh sab baato ko jaane dijiye. Yeh batayiye ki hum aapke parents se baat kab karenge?

Rey: Kal.

Taani: Rey mazak mat kijiye. I'm seriously asking you. Mumma aur papa toh yahin hai aur aapke parents?

Rey: Sharon ke ghar gaye hai.

Taani: Huh?

Rey: Haan! They came today morning.

Taani: Isiliye aap subah breakfast se?

Rey: Nahi nahi. Tabhi mujhe VP sir ka hi message aaya tha but I just wanted to leave.

Rey lowered his head feeling guilty all over again. Taani smiled at his cute gesture and pulled him to his bed. They both sat next to each other.

Taani: Abh hum kya kare?

Rey: Kya kare matlab?

Taani: Hum dono yahan akele hai.

Rey: Do log akele kaise ho sakte hai?

Taani: Ha ha very funny.

Rey: Toh batao kya karna hai?

Taani: Aapka ghar hai, aap batayiye.

Rey: Bohot jald tumhara bhi toh hone wala hai.

Taani: Rey. 

Rey: Oye hoye! 

Taani: Rey stop it. Warna mein ja rahi hoon.

She got up faking anger and turned to leave.

Rey: Jaise mein tumhe jaane dunga!

Rey got up and pulled her which made them both land on the bed. He held her firmly by her waist onto him and slowly moved the locks of hair from her face which were disturbing his view. She looked into his eyes which had darkened due to their proximity. She couldn't look more at his hypnotizing gaze and buried her face in the crook of his neck. After a while she felt his hold tighten on her. She managed to unlock his hands and got up with him.

Taani: Kya hua?

Rey: Kuch nahi. I just don't want you to ever be away from me.

Taani: I'll always be by your side.

Rey: Promise?

She leaned forward and placed her lips on his.

Taani: I promise!

She whispered against his lips. Rey's lips curved into a warm smile and he leaned in capturing her lips. He savoured her mouth till she was out of breath. Slowly and steadily this sweet affectionate act turned into a hot and steamy romantic session. The next thing they knew was that they both were snuggling together under a blanket.

Rey: I missed this so much!

Taani slapped his arm which was around her at his shamelessness. Chuckling at her, Rey pulled her to himself and buried his face into her messy hair. They slept peacefully with his arm around her petite waist and she had her hand wrapped around his arm and her back resting on his front.

Next morning

Naina: Swayam beta Taani ko jaake uthao abhi tak so rahi hai.

Swayam: Itni late tak toh voh kabhi nahi soti. Mein jaake dekhta hoon.

Swayam knocked on Taani's room several times. On getting no response, he opened the door to find the room empty.

Swayam (thinking): Taani room mein nahi hai toh kahan gayi? Chachi ko bhi nahi pata. I'll try calling her, shayad subah kahin chali gayi ho.

He called her several times but she didn't pick up his calls. He was starting to get worried now. No one knew where she was. He called her again and this time the call got connected.

Swayam: Kahan ho tum? Kisiko bina bataye kahan chali gayi?

Rey (sleepy voice): Swayam?

Swayam checked his phone to confirm that he's dialed the correct number.

Swayam: Rey?

Rey: Haan. Itni subah kyun call kiya? Kuch kaam hai kya?

Swayam: Taani tumhare saath hai?

Rey: Yeah right next to me. Kyun?

Swayam: Usse phone de.

Rey: She's sleeping yaar. Abh tu phone rakh aur mujhe bhi sone de! Bye!

Swayam: Rey wait.

Rey disconnected the call and went back to sleep holding Taani close to him. Due to the constant ringing Taani had somewhat gotten up. When she felt a hand pulling her, she panicked and got up, waking Rey as well.

Taani: Reyy.. (She let out a sigh.)

Rey: Kya hua? (He was still in his morning blues.)

Taani: Good morning. (She brushed away the hair that were covering his forehead.)

Rey: Morning? It's just.. ten.. (He checked his phone to see the time.) Oops!

Taani: Dus baj gaye?  Ghar pe sab pareshaan ho rahe honge.

Rey: Calm down. Before they find out I'll drop you home. Don't worry.

Taani checked her phone and found several missed calls from Swayam. She immediately panicked when she saw that the last call was answered.

Taani: Bhai ko shayad pata chal gaya hai.

Rey: Shayad uska call aaya tha.

Taani: Shayad nahi unka call sachme aaya tha. What was he saying?

Rey: Mujhe bas itna yaad hai ki he was asking for you and I disconnected the call saying we were sleeping.

Taani: What? Rey aapne unka phone kyun uthaya?

Rey: I was too sleepy to figure out yaar. Chalo abhi before he comes here, let's get you home.

Rey and Taani quickly got dressed and sneaked out so that no one sees them. They reached the main gate to find Swayam glaring at the two.

Rey: Swayam.. hh.. h.. hi.

Swayam: Apne hi ghar se aise chori chupe kyun bhaag rahe ho?

Rey: Aisi baat nahi hai.

Swayam: Toh phir kya baat hai Rey?

Taani: Bhai vo.

Swayam: Taani mein Rey se baat kar raha hoon!

Rey: Swayam, dude relax. Voh kal raat ko bohot late hogaya tha toh I insisted her to stay back.

Rey gestured Taani to not say anything seeing Swayam's anger.

Swayam: But Taani yahan aayi hi kyun thi? As far as I know, Taani wasn't feeling well and decided to stay home and not come with the rest of us at Sharon 's place! Ya voh sab jhootha bahana tha? Agar Rey se milne hi aana tha toh mujhe toh sach bata sakti thi tum.

Taani: Bhai aisi baat nahi hai.

Rey: Swayam don't blame her. Meine hi Taani ko bulaya tha.

Taani: What no!

Taani didn't want Rey to take the blame on himself but he couldn't let Swayam shout at Taani.

Rey: Nahi Taani hume Swayam ko sach batana hoga.

Swayam: Tumne usse kyun bulaya tha?

Rey: I really wanted to talk to her and I couldn't come there because of her parents, so I called her here.

Swayam: Jhoot bolke? And Taani I didn't expect this from you. Had I ever opposed of your relation?

Taani: No bhai. Par..

Swayam: Par kya?

Rey: Swayam tu uspe kyun chilla raha hai. We just wanted to spend some time together.

Swayam: Subah se hum sab saath hi the Rey. It was you who walked out. Toh ab yeh "quality time" wala reason mat do. Aur mein itna bhi dumb nahi hoon ki kal yahan kya hua vo samajh na saku.

Rey: Don't make it sound like we've committed some crime! (He snapped back.)

Taani: Rey! (She said sternly asking him to not to lose his cool.)

Rey: Taani tum beech mein mat aao.

Swayam: Sach baat kahu toh, yes you have committed a crime. Taani ne kabhi mujhse jhoot nahi kaha tha, but since the time you two got into a relationship, mujhse bohot baate chupayi hai isne.

Rey: Swayam tu itna ghuma ke kyu baat kar raha hai. Why don't you just come to the point?

Swayam: If you insist. You've spoiled my sister!

Taani: Bhai aap yeh kya keh rahe ho? (She looked horrified.)

Swayam: Sach hi toh keh raha hoon mein. He has turned you into a person who I can't recognize at all.

Rey: Dekh, I know tu gussa hai humpe but at least aise ilzaam mat laga.

Swayam: Mein gussa apne aap pe hoon. Kabhi kabhi lagta hai ki mujhe iss rishte ko manjoori deni hi nahi chahiye thi.

Taani: Bhai?

Swayam: Haan Taani. Meine haan jaroor kaha tha but that was because I knew that he would never betray you. That he proved right but he changed my sister.

Taani: Bhai aap aisa kyun keh rahe ho. I agree ki mujhse galati hui hai but I haven't changed, I'm still your little sister.

Swayam: Agar aisa hai toh meri ek baat manogi?

Taani: Kya?

Swayam: Rey se durr rahogi?

Taani:

Rey: Theek hai Swayam. Meine tujhse pehle hi kaha tha ki agar tujhe iss rishte se kuch bhi problem hai toh mein.. I'll stay away from Taani. 

Taani: Bhai aisa mat kijiye. Please.

Rey: Taani please don't cry.

 Rey engulfed Taani in his arms and kissed her forehead. Swayam cleared his throat to get their attention. Rey left her and turned to get back into his house.

Swayam: Rey just to let you know, hum aaj sham ko hi Jodhpur ke liye nikal rahe hai. Sharon and I are getting engaged next week.

Rey wiped the tears that had started to flow and turned around.

Rey: Congrats dude, I'm really happy for you.

I am hoping that you liked it. I mean you all did ask for TaaRey.
