That week things were going great for him. It was as if he was living his life to the fullest with Kripa. Prithvi had been out of town with his parents, so Angad didn't have to worry much about him. Josh was getting help for his steroids problem. Alliya was great, she always gave Angad ideas on how to get Kripa closer to him. Life was just perfect. Angad snapped out of his thoughts when he heard Mishty calling his name.
M- Angad, Angad, Angad!
A- huh....sorry, what?
M- Angad your having coffee with me, but your still lost in your own thoughts?
A- Actually, I was just thinking about--
M- Kripa Sharma?
A- huh, no, why would you think that?
M- Because you've been breaking our plans all week just to be with her!
A- ...It's for the article, calm down
M- You calm down Angad, I should be your first priority in life! Ever since your family left you, I supported you, and now your ignoring me for that....that girl!
A- Look....I've been wanting to say something to you for.......for sometime now
M- .....what?
A- I think we'll be better off friends then be in this relationship that has no future
M- what? Angad how could you say that? Sure we have problems but what relationship doesn't? We'll work on them and---
A- Your missing the point Mishty, I don't feel the same way about you, I never did.
M- It's because of Kripa isn't it? What happened Angad, did you lose your heart to her?
A-----------------------
Mishty stood up. She wanted to leave before she would break up in front of him.
M- What didn't I do for you Angad? I loved you more than anyone, **** I loved you more than myself! You think you'll be happy without me then fine, we're over.
Mishty grabbed her purse and walked out of the cafe.

Angad knew he was doing a favor on her by breaking up with her. She deserved someone that would love her back and appreciate her for who she was. Angad got up, paid the waiter, and also got up to leave, but he saw Kripa crossing the street coming towards the cafe.

Kripa saw Angad, she smiled and waved at him as she approached him.
K- hey Angad
A- hey, what are you doing in Town Center?
K- playing soccer
A- What?
K- Just kidding. Actually I had to meet someone
A- On this side of town, who?
K- My landlord, forget me, were you drinking coffee by yourself in the cafe?
A- erm I was just passing by so I decided to---
K- oh okay, but what brought you on this side of town?
A- Oh...I.......just was erm......
Due to Angad's luck, Kripa's cell phone rang. At that point he knew God loved him.
K- hey.......oh.....I'll be there in twenty minutes........okay......bye

A- Let me guess Alliya?
K- Yeah, how did you know?
A- Lucky Guess, but Kripa why were you meeting your landlord, everything okay?
K- oh yeah, I just had to tell him since graduation is coming up and all, I won't need the apartment after this month.
A- What? Are you moving?
K- No, I'm going to London for college, hey Angad I wish I could talk, but I really have to go, bye
Kripa kissed Angad on the cheek and quickly left.
Angad hated the thought of her leaving, for some reason it disturbed him the rest of the day. By the next day at school he wanted to talk to her about it, but when he got there he saw she was busy all day. So instead he talked to Alliya about it.

A- Alliya!
Alliya turned around and smiled.
Al- Hey, whats up?
A- Not much, you free?
Al- Yeah I was just going to lunch
A- Great, I have to talk to you
Angad waited for Alliya to get her food.

Al- Okay, so whats up?
A- It's about Kripa
Al- I figured, go on
A- Shes going to London next month?
Al- Yep, I'm going there for college too, its going to be a blast!
A- For you guys, how am I supposed to stay without her?
Alliya studied Angad's face for a few moments before she continued.
Al- You love her that much?
A- ................erm..........what college are you guys going to?
Al- Manchester University, you know Angad, it's the best college in England
A- ....cool, won't it be expensive?
Al- You bet! But guess what! Kripa and I both got full soccer scholarships. All we have to do is be on their soccer team for the four years we're there, isn't it great!
A- ...yeah, great
Al- Angad, it's only four years, they'll fly by and before you know it Kripa will be in front of your eyes again, besides you have this whole month with her, so brighten up
A- ....yeah, thanks
Al- Kripa!
Angad saw Kripa approach them and sit down next to Alliya, she was across from Angad.
K- I just got done with all my make up work from the day I was sick, phew!
Al- Well Kripa because of you, your boyfriend is restless
Kripa looked at Angad and back at Alliya. Angad eyed Alliya to shut up.
K- Me?
Al- Yeah, ever since you told him your going to London the poor guy is worried from being away from you
A- Alliya shut up
Kripa and Alliya both lgiggled. Kripa was happy, happy that Angad cared about her.
A- Fine, you both laugh, I'm out of here
K- Angad! Sorry
Angad had got up and started walking away.


Kripa walked side by side with Angad.
K- Angad your so sweet!
A- Whatever
K- Erm.....Angad, what college do you plan to go to?
A- Me?
K- Yeah, you do plan to go to college right?
A- uh yeah, I'm going to.....Washington University
K- Really! Wow that's awesome
Angad remembered how much his family pressured him to go to Washington, but he refused to. Instead he went to Bakers and got his degree.
K- So your going to be making millions as a business man, huh?
A- what?
K- Yeah, Washington is mostly for business degrees, thats what your doing right?
A- Right.
K- Washington University is in America and Manchester University is in London, God that's so far away
A- Tell me about it
K- But---
As Kripa was talking she bumped into someone.

K- I'm sorry
Kripa looked up to see it was Prithvi. He hadn't talked to her willingly since their break-up, she wished he would now.
P- Kripa, ...oh its cool
K- Prithvi, how've you been?
P- Good, erm can I talk to you?
K- Yeah
Prithvi looked at Angad and back at Kripa.
P- Alone
K- ...sure, erm Angad, I'll catch you later okay?

Before Angad got a chance to respond Kripa walked away with Prithvi. Angad wondered what they were talking about.

K- So Prithvi...what did you want to talk about?
P- Kripa, I know we're through, but I want you to know I still care about you. After knowing this I know you'll probably hate me, but not as much as you'll hate Angad.
K- What the heck are you talking about?
P- Kripa, everyone knows that from day 1 me and Angad didn't get along. Angad and I had a bet that Angad had to win you over from me but I challenged him that I would keep you, so you see all this crap that Angad is pretending to do and be is all just a pretense.
It took Kripa a few seconds to digest what Prithvi was saying, but when it did she was hurt. Hurt was too small of a word to describe how she was feeling, but she was too dumb folded to think of another one at the moment. She felt like....like tying Angad and Prithvi together and..............throwing them in the ocean, somewhere far away where they could never see her again. They both played with her feelings, they made a bet on her as if she was some object that was immune to feelings.
P- Kripa, say something
Kripa looked into Prithvi's eyes. He way such a liar, just a few moments ago he told her he cared for her, but he himself was one of the reasons she was hurt.
K- Prithvi, why are you telling me all this now?
P- Kripa, you had the right to know and---
K- And you can't let your ego get hurt because Angad won this bet, right?
P-----------
K- So all this drama that you've been doing for the last two weeks, of you being hurt that I kissed Angad that day or whatever, it was all A BIG FAT LIE!
P- ...erm...sorry
K- Uhgg!!!!
