Chapter 1

A short, chubby man, in his near forties, walked into an office. He wasn't surprised to see the office messier then a pigsty. There was a week old slice of pizza sitting next to the six empty cans of coke, which were yet to be disposed of. Papers and magazines were scattered ev everywhere. The person sitting behind the desk was fast asleep, with his head resting on the desk.

The chubby, short man grew angry and yelled "ANGAD!!!!"

Angad quickly woke up and looked at his boss, Mr. Kurana.

A- Mr. Kurana, you here?!

MK- Angad I don't pay you for sleeping!

A- I wasn't sleeping Mr. Kurana, I was, uhgg------

MK- Of coarse, you were thinking of your new journal article, right?

A- Yes! But how did you know boss?

MK- Angad, for the last six months you've given me the same excuse every time.

A- .....oh, but boss, this time I have a great idea

MK- I'm sure, care to tell me about it?

A- Nnnnow?

MK- Of coarse nnnnow, since you already thought of it, rrrrright?

A- umm yes, of coarse

MK- So tell me, I'd love to hear

A- uh okay, well it's about going......undercover

MK- Undercover?

A- Yes, I'll go undercover in.....in a high school

MK- And why in the world would you do that?

A(thinking) -to be away from you

MK- Did you say something?

A- well I was saying, I would go undercover to get the inside scoop on high school, you know sex, booze, drugs, what's really going on in there......

Angad watched Mr. Kuran's face, trying to figure out what he was thinking, Angad breathed a sigh of relief when Mr. Kurana smiled.

MK- Angad, this is the first time since you've been working for my magazine you actually have a good idea, otherwise all you ever write about are cars and sports

A- Why, Thank you

MK- So you'll go undercover in a high school, as a student and get "the inside scoop"

A- Exactly sir!

MK- Sounds good, but Angad, remember one thing, if this article doesn't do well when it gets published, then no promotion and no raise

A- Don't worry boss, this article will definitely sell!

MK- Good and now if your nap is over care to get started on the article?

A- uhh sure

MK- Good

Half an hour later Mishty Saxena entered Angad's office. Angad was working on his lap top, she took a seat across from him.

M- Angad Khanna, the news around the office is your going undercover

A- You've heard correct

M- Angad, it's the stupidest thing I've ever heard, your going to enroll as a high school kid, your 24 for goodness sakes, can you even pull of looking like a 17 or 18 year old?

A- For your kind information, I still look young, people still mistake me for a high school student, besides I needed an idea to give to Kurana so I gave the first thing that flowed through my mouth

M- Are you serious?!

A- yeah

M- Wow, so when are you starting high school?

A- In a couple of days, I still have to do my research and stuff

M- In that case, take me out tonight

A- No can do, I'm too busy

M- Angad, we're dating, is this how you treat your girlfriend?

A- Sorry, but I'm too busy, besides why don't you find someone your own age, I'm only in high school remember?

M- Angad your so not funny! Anyways, can I go undercover with you?

A- ermm......no

M- Why, we'll get a chance to stay together, Kurana said it'll be okay if you agree

A- Naaa, I think I'll do this alone, you stick to your fashion articles

M- How mean!

Mishty got up and stomped out. Angad didn't have the energy to go after her, all he could think about was what he just got himself into.
