Hello everyone!! Was planning to complete writing this part till Sunday but yesterday's promo and today's episode excited me soo muchh, and I completed it early!!

Part 11:The lehenga and kurta story

The next morning, around 11 am, everyone woke up and got dressed for a brunch at 12 am.. they had brunch..

Devika:" Toh designer aa gayi hai.. and sabke shaadi ke kapde unke rooms me aa jaayenge.. sab try karlena.. ok? Anu ko lehenga try karne me main help kardungi, Gk aap Anuj ki help kardenge?"

Anuj:" Aree GK ko kyu pareshan kar rahi ho.. GK mujhe shaadi waale din taiyaar karenge na.. aaj woh bichare thake hue hain raatko itna late soye unhe bapuji ke room me jaakar aaram karne do.. mujhe Anu help kardegi..kyu Anu?"

Mukku:" Are bhai Anu kyu..Main ya Samar kardenge..actually samar tum hi kardena.. mujhe mera lehenga try karne me time lagega"

Samar agrees.. both Anu and Anuj are disappointed.. but they don't say anything..and let themselves be dragged away by Mukku and Samar..

As they reach the room, Anu thinks about how long she had taken to choose her lehenga material and pattern. ..

(Flashback in italics)

Devika:" Anu bata na...kaisa lehenga chahiye tujhe? Anuj ne kaha hai ki hum tere lehenge se matching design ki sherwani uske liye banwa de.. usse luch samajh nahi aa raha"

Anu:" Mujhe ne laal rang ka lehenga chahiye.. bilkul rajwadi (royal) lehenga chahiye.. main nahi chahti ki kapdo pe bohot jyada kharcha ho.. par ye din jeevan me ek hi baar aata hai toh main isme woh..com..com..compromise .. nahi karna chahti..aur uske saath jewellery bhi royal ho..par simple ho.."

Devika:" Done..toh chalo..lehenge ka material select karne chalte hain..main Anuj ko bula leti hu"

Anu:" Nahi.. main chahti hu ki Anuj mujhe seedha shaadi waale din uss lehenge me dekhe.."

So Devika, Mukku, Anu's mom and Anu go to a lot of showrooms, but Anu doesn't like a single material.. every piece has some fault...either the shade isn't right.. or the design isn't good enough, or it is too heavy or too light.. too fancy or too simple.. or even too expensive...

Mukku:" Bhabhi yaar mujhe lagta hai main iss duniya me sabse ziddi ladki hu.. par tumne toh mujhe bhi peeche chod diya.."

Devika:" Anu I give up"

Anu's mom:" Tum dono rehne do.. main jaungi meri beti ke saath.. iss baar main uske saare sapne pure hote hue dekhna chahti hu.."

They go and visit another store..

and Anu instantly likes a red lehenga material...with golden embroidery, the bride and groom embroidered on the skirt, a lightly embroidered blouse and a transparent red veil with a delicate border...she loved it..

Anu:" Mujhe bas yahi chahiye"

Anu's mom:" Are par aur thode designs toh dekh le"

Anu:" Nahi mujhe yahi pasand hai"

Mukku:" Haan bhabhi hum aur bhi showrooms try kar sakte hain kal.. aur options dekh lenge na.."

Anu:" Kaha ne mujhe yahi pasand hai"

Devika:" anu ye bohot accha hai par.. tu isiliye toh nahi keh rahi na ki hum sab bohot thak gaye hain?"

Anu:" Nahi Devu Anuj ki kasam.. mujhe yahi lehenga sabse best lagta hai"

They all are happy that Anu finally got the lehenga of her dreams...

They pay the bill, and come home..

Mukku:" Bhabhi.. iss lehenge ke saath na humaara khandani haar, earrings aur maan tika ka set bilkul match hoga.. aur maa ke kangan bhi.. kya tum please wo sab pehenogi? Ruko main tumhe photos dikhati hu.."

Mukku shows her the pics and Anu loves all the jewelry.. They're just perfect for the royal look she wanted.. so she agrees to wear them..

Mukku hugs her..

Mukku:" Tumhe pata hai.. jab tum ye pehenogi na..toh Ma, Papa bohot khush honge, aur GK, bhai aur main bhi.. Thank you so much"

She had tears in her eyes.. so Anu wipes them and hugs Mukku..

Anu:" Ye toh mera saubhagya hai Mukku, ki mujhe Maa, Papa, GK ka aashirvaad, aur tera aur Anuj ka pyaar mil raha hai"

The next day, they had all gone and selected a sherwani material for Anuj.. matching Anupama's.. beautiful red and gold.. with embroidery and they decided he would wear his father's brooch..

They had selected the pattern and given it to the design to design it...

Anu had a special demand for the designer.. she wanted Anuj Ki Anupama and Anupama ka Anuj to be embroidered below the embroidery of the bride and groom of the skirt.. and on her veil.. she wanted MaanKiShaadi to be embroidered.. all this had been kept secret from Anuj..

(Flashback ends)

She was so nervous as she tried on the lehenga.. Devika helped her dress up..and she looked into the mirror...

Devika:" ANUUUUU meri jaaaan tu kitni khubsurat lag rahi hai..!!!! Anuj toh pakka behosh hojayega yaar shaadi waale dinnn!!!! Ufff meri Anuuuu.. and hugged her.."

She was right... the lehenga fit her perfectly, and she looked just like Anuj's queen..

She was very happy and satisfied with the result.. and changed back into her salwar kameez..

Anuj called Devika, who was trying out her lehenga..

After the call..

Devika:" Anu.. Anuj ke room me jaa na usse koi problem hui hai..jaa uski help karde"

Anu went..and knocked.. Samar opened the door ..

Samar:" Mummy main.. apne kapde try karke aata hu..aap Anuj papa ko help kar dijiye na please"

And he left.. Anu entered the room and locked the door..

She saw Anuj.. he was standing in his wedding sherwaani.. but 2 buttons were popped off his chest.. and one was half hanging by a thread..

Anu:" Anuj..ye kaise?"

Anuj:" Woh main sherwaani pehen ne ke liye itna excited tha ki maine ulti pehen li jaldi jaldi aur phir seedhi kar raha tha toh yeh.. please ye button laga do na.. main kar deta par mujhe khud ke pehene hue kapde pe lagane nahi aata.. haan kabhi agar tumhaare blouse ka hook tut jaaye toh main help kardunga.. " and he winked at her..

Anu blushed and lightly hit his shoulder..

She took a needle and thread from the dressing table and took the buttons..

She first started sewing the half stitched button.. it was almost done..

Anuj:" Ouchhh"

Anu:" Anuj aapko sui chubh gayi?? Suri suri suri suri.. dikhaiyee"

And she hurriedly bit the thread with her teeth.. and while she did that... her hair got all over his face.. and he smiled.. gently removing all the hair from his face.. and she pulled the cloth aside and ran her hand on his chest.. checking where the needle had pricked..

She didn't find it...so she asked him

Anu:" Anuj kaha laga?? Bataiye na??"

Anuj:" Dil meee.. ab tum mere itna paas ho.. mere chest ko touch kar rahi ho.. toh dil pe toh lagega naaa"

Anu:" Aap bhi na.. ek toh main aapki madat karne aayi hu aur aap.. jaiye main nahi karungi.. bye.."

Anuj holds her hand.. and pulls her towards himself.. and wraps both his arms around her waist.. and pecks her forehead..

Anuj:" Suri ne.. bohot bohot bohot suri .. woh mein toh mazaak kar raha tha ne.. toh.."

Anu angrily steps away..and shows him the needle..

Anu:" Aap mera mazaak uda rahe hain .. mein aapko sui chuba dungi"

Anuj:" Aise kaise chubha dogi Anu..meri paas bhi sui hai..and he picks the other needle from the dressing table.."

They cutely start fighting with the needle..and then laugh.. and Anu finally starts sewing the next two buttons, keeping her fingers inside the kurta, touching his chest, so that the needle doesn't prick him..

Anuj:" Anu.. yaad hai.. uss din baa bapuji ke anniversary ke pehle waali raat.. "

Anu:" Aap mere ghar aaye the.."

Anuj:" Aur humne aise hi needle waali fight ki thi..aur ek saath time spend kiya tha sewing karte hue.."

Anu:" aur uss din aap kitna darr gaye the..jab aapko laga tha ki main kisi aur se shaadi karne karne waali hu"

Anuj:" Aur ab dekho.. kal.. humaari shaadi hai.. I still can't believe it Anu.. humaari shaadi!!!!"

Anu nods.. as she sews the last button on..and bites the thread with her teeth..

Anuj:" Uffff.. Anu.. ek baat kahun?"

Anu:" Hmm?"

Anuj:" Tum daatogi toh nahi?"

Anu:" Nahi daatungi aap boliye ne"

Anuj:" Jaise tumne iss dhaage ko apne daat se kaata na.. bas mann kar raha tha ki beechme woh button ya kurta na ho..aur meri skin pe tum.."

Anu:" Accha.. chalo aapki wish puri kardete hain"

Anuj:" Anu..tum ye kya.."

Anu:" Shh..chup.. aankhe bandh kijiye"

He obeys...she laughs.. takes his hand, and bites hard on his wrist..

His eyes fly open..

Anuj:" Ahhh Anu ke kya..ye kya tumne.."

Anu:" Aisi baate karenge toh aisa hi hoga.."

He rubbed his wrist..

Anuj:" Yaar Anu tum toh kitni wild nikli..ahh dukh raha hai"

Anu feels bad for him..and takes his hand and plants a soft kiss on the bite..

Anu:" bholuram ji..ab theek hai?"

He is ecstatic and nods, smiling..

Anuj:" Anu..zara ek photo kheech do na.. GK ko bhejni hai"

She clicks a pic..and sends it to GK..

Anuj:" Anu.. ab ek aur help kardona"

Anu:" Kya?"

Anuj:" Woh ye kurta na bohot heavy hai..mujhse akele se niklega nahi.. toh please zara help karo na utaarne me"

Anu:" Isse toh 10 guna bhaari mera lehenga hai nazuk kapadiaji"

Anuj:" tum uski chinta mat karo..shaadi ke baad lehenga utarne me main help karunga tumhaari..abhi please meri help kardona"

He winks at her.. and she blushes a brighter red than his kurta..

And slowly walks up to him..unbuttoning the kurta.. and helping him remove it.. as she fded the kurta and set it back..her eyes fell on his bare chest..and stayed there..

Her legs moved towards him as if on autopilot..and she touched his chest.. mesmerized..as he smiled.. and pulled herself closer, wrapping his arms on her back.. she placed both her arms on his chest..and was about to place her head too..

When the doorbell rang..

Devika:" Darwaaza kholloooo"

Anuj rushed to wear a tshirt..and Anu went to open the door..

Devika:" Itna time lagta hai kya tum dono ko.. maine pura lehenga try karliya..change karliya.. designer se baat karke corrections bhi bata diye.. aur tumlog..kya kar rahe the?"

Anuj:" Woh Devu mere kurte ke button tut gaye the toh Anu lagane me madat kar rahi thi.."

Devika:" Accha.. tut gaye ya tune jaan bujh ke tod diye haan"

Anuj:" Are nahi na.. sach me khud hi tut gaye.. aur mujhe khudne pehene hue kapdo ya button lagane nahi hota theek se..isiliye Anu ko bulaya"

Devika:" Aur tu kurta utarke toh button laga hi nahi sakta tha na" she asked..pulling his ears..

Devika:" Aur tu Anu.. tujhe bhi aisa kuch nahi suja tha na...chali gayi seedha button lagane"

Anuj, Anu:" Woh woh..woh"

Devika:"Kya woh woh.. chalo ab..mere lovebirds.. pool party ka time ho raha hai.. Anu chal ready hoja.. aur Anuj tu bhi.. "

She drags Anu out of the room.. as Anu and Anuj steal glances at each other..blushing, remembering what had happened minutes ago..

That's it for today..!!

They hadn't shown any wedding shopping in the show...so I wanted to incorporate that here..

The buttons breaking and Anu sewing them was Gauri's (@ga1986) idea, and she suggested me to include that somewhere in the story, and I felt it fit in perfectly here! Hope I did justice to it!
