Part 12:" Pool party"

Anuj got ready for the pool party, wearing a pink sleeveless tshirt, showcasing his biceps off to perfection.. and his favourite shorts, his legs screaming for attention..

Anu had worn black leggings and a long blue loose top.. she was very conscious about it.. but Devika had somehow convinced her..

They all went to the swimming pool, everyone wearing tshirts and shorts.. Anu saw Anuj.. and her eyes stayed on his biceps... she wanted to run over and just hold them tight..she imagined how it would be to use them as a pillow... well..she would find out soon enough.. tomorrow.. and she blushed at her own thoughts.. as her gaze went downwards..it stopped again on his loonggg legs.. She heard him clear his throat..and looked up..as their eyes met, he winked at her..and blused more.. being caught staring at him.. while he walked towards her.. smiling...and scanning her top to bottom..and then appreciating her with his eyes.. which made her blush a darker red and shift her gaze to the floor..

Devika:" Oh hellooo.. tum dono ka romance toh khatam hi nahi hota yaar..yahaan aur bhi log hain hume bhi dekhlo"

Mukku:" Aur kya.. humne saare arrangements kiye itni mehnat se.. location se leke kapdo tak sab humne decide kiya aur koi appreciate hi nahi karta"

Anuj:" Kya appreciate.. ye kaise colour ke kapde diye hain mujhe.. digene ki bottle lag raha hu"

Anu:" Nahi.. ye bohot accha lag raha hai aap par.. bachpan me mujhe ne ek woh..bubblegum..woh bohot pasand tha.. uska color bhi aisa hi hota tha..par tab maa mujhe khaane nahi deti thi..ki daant kharab hojayenge.."

Anuj, whispers in her ear:" Ab khalo.. ye bubblegum pura ka pura tumhaara hai"

Anu blushed and also glared at him

Mukku:" Yaar tum dono phir shuru hogaye!!!"

Anu walked up to her..and hugged her..saying thanks for arranging everything..and Anuj did the same with Devika..

Anuj:" Chalo ab ek group hug hojaye..Anu, Mukku..yahaan aao"

Mukku :" Haan haan..Anu ko gale lagane ka bahaana chahiye seedhe seedhe bolo na"

They had their group hug.. Anuj squeezing Anu close to himself..her hiding her face in his chest.. Mukku hugging them from Anu's side and Devika from Anuj's side..

As they stepped behind.. and the rest of the family arrived.. they decided to go for a swim first.. and then eat..

The pool was heated up a bit..so that the water wasn't too cold..

As everyone jumped into the pool.. Anu went and sat near her Mom, Bapuji and GK..
Kinjal called her to sit beside her on the edge of the pool..where she was dangling her legs in the water.. she went there and did the same..

Anuj saw this and swam up to her..

Anuj:" Anu.. tum waha kyu baithi ho..aao na yaha mazza aa raha hai"

Anu:" Anuj mujhe swimming nahi aati.."

Anuj:" Itni si baat? Main sikha dunga..aa jao..."

Anu was still reluctant..so he came out of the pool, went to her, held her hand and took her to the pool.. putting a float around her waist..and helped her step inside the pool..

Anuj:" Aaramse Anu.."

When they were in the water.. he went behind her..and held her hands, teaching her how to swim..
She found it extremely difficult to focus on what he was saying..having him so close to her had completely clouded her senses and mind..but she finally learnt to swim a bit without his support.. as they swam side by side..and gradually joined the others playing around in the pool.. splashing each other with water.. playing with a ball.. racing..and everyone had a lot of fun.. finally, when they were all tired, and were climbing out of the pool, Anu and Anuj being the last.. Anuj asked her to go first.. and helped her climb..but she slipped on the wet surface..and was about to fall into the pool, when his strong arms caught her waist..and hugged her tight from behind..

Anuj:" Kya kar rahi ho Anu..zara sambhalke.. lag jaata toh..araam se karo na.. and then helped her get out of the pool..and climbed up himself.. and they took the towels.. Anu immediately wrapped it around herself as she was uncomfortable with the wet clothes sticking to her skin.. and said she would go to her room and change..
Anuj excused himself saying that he wanted to use the washroom and ran behind her..

As Anu was about to open the door to her room.. Anuj ran up to her..
And they both stepped inside.. and closed the door behind them..
Anu:" Aap yaha kyu"
Anuj:" Jahaan meri Anu wahaan main"
Anu:" Aap bhi ne..chaliye ab aap yaha baithiye main bathroom me jaake kapde badal ke aati hu"
Anuj pulled her closer..
Anuj:" ruko na Anuuuuu..."
He took the towel from her hands..and gently wiped her face and neck.. looking straight into her eyes.. and shifted her wet hair aside, her bun had almost come undone..he opened her wet hair.. and ran his hand through it...and finally placed it on her back..
Anu:" Ab jaane dijiye mujhe.."
Anuj:" Haan ek minute.."
He brought his face near hers..and shook his head...sprinkling water from his wet hair onto her face..as she giggled.. and went to the washroom to change..
She came out 10 mins later.. wearing a long black top with palazzos..  another outfit chosen by Mukku.. with a white scarf around her neck and open wet hair..
Anuj was mesmerized.. and kept looking at her..
Anu:" Anooojjj.. chaliye ne ab.. sab wait kar rahe hain.."
Anuj, still in a daze, linked arms with her and they walked out, locking the room behind them, and went to where everyone was.

GK:" Kaha gaya tha tu"
Anuj:" Aree GK bola na washroom gaya tha"
Devika:" Washroom toh yahin hai peeche.."
Anuj:" Nahi woh main apne room ke washroom me gaya tha"
Mukku:" Apne room ya Anu ke room me bhai"
Anuj:" Ab chup bhi karo na sab.. aage kya karna hai??"
Samar:" Humne khaana order kardiya hai... woh aata hi hoga.. tab tak humaari aapse ek special request hai"
Pakhi:" Devika maasi aapke guitar skills ki bohot taarif karti hain.. toh aap please hume ek song gaa kar sunaiye na please Anuj papa."
Anuj:" Ek shart pe.. Anu bhi mera saath degi"
Kinjal:" Come on Mummyyyyy"
Everyone cheers as Bhavesh hands the guitar to Anuj..
Bhavesh:" Ye lijiye jijaji"
Anu and Anuj were happily surprised to hear Bhavesh call him jijaji..
Anuj started playing the guitar and singing..

Anuj sang.. as Anu blushed at the words "you are mine"

She responded.. looking at him.. as if still wondering why a single look from him could make her heart run a marathon..

They kept singing..and completed the song.. as everyone started clapping and hooting.. Anuj set his guitar aside carefully, and took Anu's hand, and gently kissed the back of her palm

Anuj:" Thank you, my lady!"

She blushed, and everyone smiled... while the food arrived..and they ate to their hearts content..hungry after a wonderful swim..

Anuj fed the first bite to Anu.. and she did the same..and they continued feeding each other till  their stomach was full of food, and more so, their heart, full of love!!

I wanted to finish writing about the wedding here before it actually happened..but I don't think it's possible now, and there's no point in rushing it, because I want them and us to enjoy and cherish every small moment leading up to their big day❤
