Hello everyone! I'm back!

Suri suri suri suri for not updating for so long but I got caught up with work so couldn't find time to write until today even though I was dying to!!

Part 9 B- MaAn ka Sangeet

(Song lyrics in italics)

Amidst a loud cheers from the audience, Anupama and Anuj took their seats next to each other

Kinjal:" Toh hamaari gorgeous bride aur dashing groom ki entry ke baad, ab dekhte hain kuch special performances by our families!! Sabse pehle aa rahe hain - Nani( Anu's mom) aur Pakhi"

Anu's mom entered, as the song - 🎶Kajra and Uden Jab Jab 🎶 mashup started playing.. as the song ended, she left the stage and Pakhi took over the next song - 🎶London Thumakada🎶 started playing..

After both the songs ended, The last song for them  - 🎶Navrai majhi🎶 started playing.. as the song was ending, they went down to the couple, as MaAn stood up..Anu's mom and Pakhi held one hand each of Anu and gave it in Anuj's hand..

Anuj and Anu smiled wide, a bit emotional.. Anuj kisses her hands first, making a silent promise to her, and them, that he'll always cherish her and make her life a fairytale and then they all have a group hug, followed by Anuj touching his MIL's feet..

When they're seated, Kinjal announces the next performers - the teenagers- Bapuji, GK and Mamaji, who deliver a super energetic performers on 🎶Desi Boys🎶

As the song ends; they too walk up to maan and as the couple touches their feet, they all pull them into a group hug.. as they part from the hug, and the three teenagers go away... Anuj takes the chance and pecks Anu's cheek, but Anu suddenly turns towards him, and his lips brush hers.. Anu is startled and Anuj is happily shocked.. he just holds his ear and gestures that he wanted to kiss her cheek, and makes a cute puppy face.. Anu melts seeing his face and they sit down next to each other.. their lips trembling from the slight touch, desiring to feel each other's lips again.. Anuj looks at Anu, who looks down.. sideways.. at him..and again away.. as he rubs his neck and looks away too..

They break out of their trance as Kinjal announces the next performance- Devika and Mukku

Devika and Mukku enter the stage and set it on fire with their moves on 🎶Chunnari Chunnari🎶 and 🎶Kamariya🎶

As the song plays-

Aaja na chule meri chunari sanam

Kuch na main bolu tujhe meri kasam

Anuj remembers how she had teased him while dancing on this song during rehersals.. it was his turn now.. he gently holds her dupatta and gives it a small tug.. she glared at him and focused back on the performance.. while Anuj slowly ran  his fingers over her slightly visible waist.. Anu has goosebumps, she looks at him and  gives him a pleading look to stop  this sweet torture to her senses.. Anuj winks at her.. and slowly removes his fingers as the performance comes to an end.. and Mukku and Devika rush down to hug them.. as they part,

Mukku whipers :" Accha hua humne best videographer hire kiya hai"

Maan are confused

Devika whispers:" Haan.. warna tum dono ko ek dusre se aankhon aankhon waala romance karne se fursat kaha mili humaara performance dekhne ki.. "

They both giggled and ran away.. leaving maan red in the face..

They took their seats as Samar  came up on stage and performed on 🎶Main Agar Kahoon🎶 dedicating it to Anu..

Anu started crying mid performance, and Anuj pulled her into a side hug and stroked her back trying to calm her..

By the time Samar got done with his performance, he was crying too.. he rushed down the stage to hug Anu.... After letting them be for a minute, Anuj went to them and patted them both on the back to calm them.. they pulled him into the hug too..

Samar:" Thank you Anuj papa.. Mummy aur hum sab ki life me itni saari khushiyaan laane ke liye"

Anu didn't speak, but placed a soft gratitude kiss on his chest, where she was snuggled..

Anuj:" Thank you buddy"

He kissed Anu's forehead and set her stray hair straight.. patted Samar's back and they all say down..

Kinjal:"  Please welcome, with a huge round of applause, our gorgeous and talented bride, Mummyyyyy!!!"

Anu looked at Anuj, gave him a smile, and walked up to the stage, ready to dance her heart out for the person who had stolen her heart..

Started dancing as the music played

Throughout the song, she moved, swayed, twirled, danced on different parts of the stage, but never once broke eye contact with him.. her face and eyes expressing all the love and devotion her heart held for him.. through the song, she let him know that now, without him, neither the moon, nor any festival held any significance for her.. without him, her life lost its significance.. she told him all this without uttering a single word.. yet he heard it all.. and responded through the happy tears that didn't seem to stop flowing from his eyes.. just like when she had confessed her love to him on Valentine's day..

As the song ended, the next one played

With these lines, she told him - ' I waited for you all my life Anuj.. I wish you had come sooner.. but now that you're here..I'm keeping you for life.. not only this life..but all the lives that are to come..'

Here, her eyes said-' Since I've fallen in love with you, the world has ceased to exist for me, nothing matters to me like you do..you are my world'

Here, she expressed how much him looking at her with all the love pouring out of his eyes meant to her.. how special he made her feel.. how she cherished each moment she spent with him.. how she was desperate too, to get married to him and officially become his forever.. how difficult it was for her to be away from him even for sometime..

With four final circles, she ended her performance.. as the audience stood up and burst into applause.. she went straight to her Anuj.. who held her hand and squeezed it.. as if trying to transfer all those emotions he was feeling.. but was unable to put into words..

But he didn't need words, she'd read his eyes too, like he had read hers.. and she knew.. she just wiped his tears, cleaned his specs with her dupatta and made him wear them again, while he wiped her tears too..

They sat down beside each other..

Kinjal:" Mummy aur Anuj papa jaisa pyaar humne sirf fairytales me suna tha.. kabhi socha nahi tha ki iss level ka pyaar real life me bhi ho sakta hai.. par aap dono ne toh pyaar ke alag standards set kardiye hain.. aap saare couples ke liye ek inspiration ho.. toh humaari iss pyaari jodi ke ishq ko salaam karna toh banta hai.. so please welcome Bhavesh Mama, Devika Masi, Samar and Mukku!!"

They started dancing on 🎶Salam - e- Ishq🎶

Everyone was enjoying their energetic performance.. when Kinjal suddenly came up to Maan, held their hands and led them up to the stage..

Ho teri hathhawitch mehandi ka rang khila hain

Tujhe sapano da changa mehboob mila hain

Meri banno pyaari pyaari sari duniya se nyaari

Ise doli mein tu leja dholna, dholnaa...

Everyone formed a circle around Anu and Anuj.. and Kinjal lipsang these lines to Anu.. and brought her closer to Anuj.. and he kept his hand on her shoulder..

Teri meri nazar jo mili pehli baar

Ho gaya ho gaya tujhse pyaar

Dil hai kya dil hai kya jaan bhi tujhpe nisaar

Maine tujhe kiya aitbaar

As these lines played, everyone else stepped away from the dance floor, as Anuj held Anu gently and started dancing .. lipsinging the lines looking into her eyes..

Ho main bhi toh tujhpe mar gayi

Deewanapan kya kar gayi

Meri har dhakan betaab hai

Palkon vich tera khwaab hai

Anu, lost in his eyes, with utmost sincerity, danced to these lines...

Ho jaan se bhi pyaari pyaari jaaniya ko salaam

Salaam-e-ishq...

Salaam-e-ishq ishq ishq salaam-e-ishq

They happily danced to the chorus...

He danced to these lines, meaning each word..

Ho aisse jaadoon na daal ve

She danced and lipsang,  teasing him, hitting him lightly on the shoulder and pushing him away...

He held her by the waist and pulled her closer, then twirling her..

He bent down on his knee, looking up at the sky, asking God to forgive him because he worshipped her.. and then kissed her hand as a token of his love..

Tere bin sab kuch benoor hai

Sanson mein yehi paigaam hai

Mera sab kuch tere naam hai

She held his hand and pulled him up.. walking around him in a circle..and then embracing him..

As they stepped apart, and the chorus played again, Bhavesh, Devika, Samar and Mukku joined them.. and they all danced to the remaining part of the song... and then took their seats amidst applause.. all except Anuj.. who stood on the stage.. it was his turn now.. to perform for his Anu..

He takes up the mic, as Pakhi runs and hands him his guitar.. Saying a quick "Thank you Pakhu" to her with a grateful smile and a pat on her cheek, he stands in the centre of the stage..

Anuj:" Anu, meri jaan, this one is for you.."

And starts singing the song 🎶Jaan Ban Gaye🎶

Anu is blushing and smiling throughout with happy tears flowing down her cheeks as usual.. this was a surprise for her.. he knew she loved that song..

(Flashback - MaAn were in Anuj's Lal Pari, driving back from a business meeting at night before Anu's confession, when they were still staying at the Kapadia house together)

Anu was driving as Anuj had just recovered and Anuj was fiddling with the radio, to find the perfect song..

Meanwhile.. the beginning tune of the song 🎶Jaan Ban Gaye🎶 had played.. and Anuj had changed the song

Anu:"Anoooj, woh gaana rakhiye ne.. mujhe bohot pasand hai"

Anuj obeys and smiles..

The quietly enjoy the song and each other's company.. as the song ends.. Anu turns the radio off..

After a few moments of silence..

Anu:" Aapko pata hai mujhe ye gaana itna kyu pasand hai?"

Anuj raises his eyebrows, to ask why..

Anu:" Woh.. mera ne ek chota sa sapna tha.."

She pauses..unsure how to continue..

Anuj:" Bolo na Anu..ruk kyu gayi"

Anu:" Woh..school khatam hote hote ya college shuru hote hote.. har ladki ke kuch sapne hote hain.. apne jeevansathi ko lekar.. mere bhi the...kuch jyada bada nahi.. bas..choti choti baatein..woh main kabhi kabhi aise film me dekhti thi ya kitaab me padhti thi.. ki hero heroine ko aise jaan bulaata hai.. toh mujhe bhi aisa lagta tha mujhe bhi koi rajkumar mile jo pyaar se mujhe jaan bulaaye.."

Anuj nods, smiling.. wishing he could call her jaan and fulfill her dream..

She paused there.. but Anuj felt she had more to tell..

Anuj:" Anu.. aur kuch bhi kehna ho toh bata dena.. I'm here for you"

Anu:" woh.. jab meri shaadi hui... tab aisa laga ki shayad ab mera ye sapna pura ho jaayega.. par.. mujhe toh humesha- Anupama chai dena, khaana dena, pair daba dena, towel dena aise hi bulaya gaya humesha..aur.. meri kabhi himmat nahi hui ke main saamne se apne sapno ya icchaon ke baare me baat karu..kabhi mauka hi nahi mila "

She bit her lip.. it was difficult for her to recollect her painful past.. but she wanted him to know everything about her.. she wanted to get rid of those painful memories before she made fresh beautiful ones with him..

Anuj hesitantly touched one of her hands on the steering wheel..

Anuj:" Anu.. tum.."

Anu:" Theek hun.. Anuj.."

Gaining control over her emotions and smiling- "par.. mujhe ne ye gaana bohot bohot bohot pasand hai"

Anuj smiled.. once again wishing he would've proposed her 26 years ago..as they drove back home

(Flashback ends)

Anu took up a mic lying on the chair beside her and sang-

Qismat se humein aap humdam mil gaye

Jaise ki dua ko alfaaz mil gaye

Socha jo nahin woh hasil ho gaya

Chahun aur kya ke khuda de ab mujhe

Anuj smiled and continued

Rab se mila ek ayaan ban gaye

Aap humari jaan ban gaye

Truly, she was his gift from god... his life..his jaan..

He still remembered the conversation they had had after she had confessed her love for him..

(Flashback)

MaAn were sitting on the bench on the terrace, holding hands after cutting the cake..

There was some cake on Anu's face near her lips.. Anuj gently wiped it.. his touch making her blush..

Anuj:" Anu..ek baat puchu?"

Anu:" Hmm?"

Anuj:" Yaad hai tumne mujhse uss din kaha tha ki tumhaara sapna tha ki tumse pyaar karnewaala ladka tumhe jaan kehkar bulaaye?"

Anu nods..

Anuj:" Toh kya main..tumhe"

He hesitates.. but Anu understands and blushes..

Anu:" Apne mera har sapna pura kiya hai Kapadiya ji.. toh ye bhi kar dijiye agar aap chahe toh... par.."

Anuj:" Par?"

Anu:" Par aap roj roj baar baar mujhe jaan nahi bulayenge.. kabhi kabhi special time par ya kabhi aapka bolneka mann kare ya mera sunneka.. bas tab.. warna aap mujhe Anu hi bulayenge.. theek che?"

Anuj:" Jo hukum mohotarma par aisa kyun?"

Anu blushes and playing with her pallu, slowly says..

Anu:" Jab aap mujhe Anu bulaate hain toh mujhe bohot bohot bohot special lagta hai..mera naam toh sab lete hain par jab aap lete hain toh lagta hai jaise ye duniya ka sabse khubsurat shabd ho"

Anuj:" Duniya ka sabse khubsurat shabd nahi.. meri puri duniya.. I love you meri Jaan..meri Anu..."

He says it with so much pride, thought Anu.. just so grateful to have this man in her life..

Her smile on hearing those words; the happiness that reflected in her eyes because her dream was fulfilled; it all looked so beautiful..and Anuj was satisfied knowing he was the reason behind her smile..

(Flashback ends)

This part has become too long already so will wrap up the sangeet in the next part.. will hopefully write and post it by tomorrow!!

I included the lyrics because I can't show you how I imagined them dancing so I tried to put in atleast a bit of the feel that way! Let me know what you think of it!!
