Part 9 A- Sangeet begins!

As everyone left from their rooms, to go to the sangeet venue.. Samar messaged on the MaanKiShaadi group..it read
"Aap sab please lawn me jaane se pehle baahar rukiye gate ke paas.. aap sabke liye surprise hai.. aur sablog aa jaaye toh mujhe call kar dijiyega main surprise leke aaunga"

Everyone reached near the gate, and kinjal gave samar a call..
Samar came, along with Pakhi..
Everyone was surprised to see Pakhi..
Anu:" Pakhi tu?"
Pakhi:" Mummy mujhe aapse kuch kehna tha.."
Anu:" Haan bol ne beta"
Pakhi becomes emotional:" Mummy I'm sorry.. mujhe..mujhe aapko insult nahi karna chahiye tha.. aapko support karna chahiye tha jaise aap humesha mujhe karte ho..I'm sorry mummy main aisa nahi karungi kabhi bhi I promise.."
Pakhi was sobbing now..and Anu, who herself was crying.. hugged her and consoled her..
Anu:" maari sweetudii.. ro mat ne.. bas.. bas..chup.. shaant ho ja.."
She broke the hug and wiped Pakhi's tears.. but she was still crying herself.. Anuj couldn't bear to see her crying.. so gave her a side hug..rubbing her shoulder to calm her down, and wiped her tears gently..
Pakhi:" Anuj ji.. mujhe aapko bhi sorry bolna tha.. aapne mujhse friendship ki thi par main aapki friend nahi ban paayi.. I'm very sorry.. Ab main humesha aap dono ko support karungi.. aur aapki shaadi me hum sab milke bohot enjoy karenge.. agar aap mujhe maaf karde toh.."

Anuj's eyes had teared up too by then.. he hugged Pakhi and patted her head

Anuj:" Main toh tumse naraaz hi nahi tha Pakhi.. mujhe toh bas isiliye bura lagta tha kyuki tum apni mummy ko hurt kar rahi thi..par apni galati ko accept karna, apne friends se aur apne aap se fight karna is not easy.. but tum meri Anu ki beti ho.. tum apni mummy ki tarah strong ho..phir se mujhse friendship karogi?"
Anuj forwards his hand, Pakhi shakes it and hugs him..
Pakhi removes her phone and plays a voice note..
It was Toshu
Toshu:" Mummy, Samar aur Kinjal ne jab mujhse baat ki.. toh mujhe realise hua ki main galat hu.. aap aur Anuj humesha mujhe maaf kardete hain aur main baar baar galti karta rehta hu.. kabhi papa ke influence me aakar toh kabhi mom ke.. par ab main kabhi aap dono ki insult ya disrespect nahi karunga.. main shayad Anuj ko papa ki jagah toh nahi de sakta.. atleast abhi toh nahi..par main pure dil se unhe aapka life partner accept karlunga.. aur humesha unki respect karunga.. aur aapki toh sabse zyada.. main shaadi ke baaki functions me toh nahi aa paunga..kyunki maine job ke liye kuch companies me apply kiya hai.. main ab kise ke favour se nahi..independently kaam karna chahta hu..hopefully, aapki shaadi waale din milenge..!!I love you mummy.. and aapko aur Anuj ko  Congratulations and Sorry.."

Anupama was in happy tears yet again; and Anuj and the rest of the families were equally happy..

Anu:"Samar, Kinju baby, Sweety.. thenk you.. bohot bohot bohot thenk you iss surprise ke liye.."
Anuj thanked them too..for making his Anu happy
Pakhi:" Anuj ji.. hum teeno ko aapse kuch puchna tha..bolna winter"
Samar:" Anuj ji woh.. hume ye puchna tha ki kya hum shaadi ke baad aapko Anuj papa keh ke bula sakte hain? Aap humaare dost toh ho hi, par guide aur role model bhi ho.. isiliye hum aapko papa bulana chahte hain"
Anuj was overwhelmed, so was Anu..
Anuj just nodded.. and blinking back his tears, he said,
Anuj:" Of course bula sakte ho.. isme puchne ki kya baat hai"
And stretched his arms for them to hug him..
Samar, Kinjal and Pakhi all of them hugged him..
Anuj saw Anu standing aside.. still crying..and gestured her to join them.. which she did..
Their happy content family..them..and their kids..

They all broke the hug and started to go towards the lawn..
Everyone took their seats along with the guests, while the bride and groom went backstage along with Kinjal, who was hosting the evening as she couldn't dance..

Kinjal:" Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to this beautiful evening!! Bina time waste kiye bulaate hain humaare groom, Anuj Kapadia ko!!!"

As the applause subsised, Anuj along with a few background dancers from Anupama's dance academy entered, dancing on the following song -

After the song ended, the background dancers went backstage, and Anuj took the mic-
Anuj:" Mujhe 26 saal pehle Anu se pyaar hua tha.. par phir main jab US me tha.. tab maine koshish ki thi kisi aur se pyaar karneki, ya kisi naye relationship ko chance deneki, par.. jo log chaand ko pasand karte hain woh sitaaro pe jaa kar settle nahi hote (winked at devika).. maine na kabhi kisi aur se pyaar kiya hai.. na kabhi karunga... meri Anu hi meri mohabbat hai..meri zindagi hai..
Ab swagat kijiye meri Anupama ka .. give her a huge round of applause everyone!!!

The song starts,
Devika and Dolly twirl and enter..
Then Anu enters, and stands in between the two..
They move behind.. the music goes -

Bekaraar woh

Na pyaar ho
Apna bana ke dekho

Bolo na..🎶

They all dance to this fun and peppy song.. and the audience cheers on..
As the song ends.. Devika and Dolly go offstage..
Anu takes the mic and starts speaking..

Anu:" Anuj.. aap jabse meri zindagi me aaye hain.. aise lagta hai aapne mujhe meri khushi, pyaar, zindagi..sab lauta diya hai...pehle toh aap mujhe yaad bhi nahi the.. phir hum business partners bane.. tab maine aapse pehle hi din keh diya tha ki humaara rishta boss aur employee ka hoga dost ka nahi..par kab aap mere besht friend bangaye mujhe pata hi nahi chala.. main maanti thi mujhe kabhi waapas pyaar nahi hoga.. par phir jab bhi aapse milti thi..aapke saath rehti thi..bilkul alag feeling thi.. aisa lagta hai dil me bahaar aagayi.. bikul aise----

(She puts the mic aside and the next song starts playing)

She dances her heart out.. for her Anuj..
As the song ends.. she looks at him with all the love in her eyes.. and shouts at the top of her voice.. "I LOVE YOU ANUJ, Main aapse bohot bohot bohot bohot pyaar karti hu aur humesha karti rakhungi"

Anuj was stunned.. she had said I love you to him in private.. but he hadn't expected her to scream it out in front of a hundred people.. he didn't know how to react.. he was too overwhelmed.. he just whispered.. "I Love you too my Anu; I love you too"
Though Anu was on the stage.. some feet away from him.. her heart heard him clearly.. she ran down the stage and straight into his arms.. and hugged him tight.. as the audience burst into applause.. as Anu was about to pull apart, Anuj tightened his hold, and whispered " Meri Anu" in her hair.. with all the love, respect, pride and gratitude he had in his heart for her, and then withdrew from the hug..

This was all for today..
Ik it wasn't long, had some family drama and very less maan romance.. the next one will have lots of dance and hopefully romance too😉

I won't be consistent with the updates for a  week as I'm going on a vacation with my parents..will try and update atleast once or twice if I get time! Please bear with me☹
