Chapter 1

---------------------------------------------------- Mami’s House-----------------------------------------------------------------------

As soon as they had all found out about the truth, they had all(including Shiva) barged into Maami’s home, to go pacify Raavi and had been told off by Maami, who had gone to Dhara saying "Meri beti, apni behen Anita ko chod ke tere liye prann leke gayi thi, ki jab tak Anita tujhse maafinaa maangle woh iss ghar ke dahleez par kadam nahi rakhegi, aur iss jangli ne usse ghar se nikaal diya" pointing at Shiva. 

"Oh Mhara Bhogilal, pata ni kis haal mein hogi meri bacchi, kahan chali gayi akeli" cried Maami, while Shiva looked along guiltily.

Despite various cries from his Bhabhi and his brother, Shiva rushes off from Maami’s house, gets on his bike and drives off like a maniac, trying to see if he can spot her on the streets of Somnath.

Raavi had been found walking aimlessly with her suitcase by Hardik, she looked so heartbroken and lost and when he tried to call out to her, he saw that she was not in her senses but he told her to let him take her home and she repeatedly kept saying that she has nowhere to go, she kept on muttering "Shiva ne mujhe ghar mein aane se mana kardiya aur maasi ke yahan main jaa nahi sakti, mujhe kahin jaane ke liye hai hi nahi" staring blankly, unaware of her surroundings. He somehow managed to convince her to stay at his place, as she was like Dhara to him and his house is also like her home. He also instantly texted Gaumbi that Raavi had been found, that she is fine but in shock.

Gaumbi got a text from Hardik, saying that Raavi is at his place and she’s not in a good state to speak to anybody and maybe only one of them should come, Gaumbi informs the rest that Raavi has been found and he tells them he will go meet her alone and convinces others not to come along for her sake.

Gaumbi arrives at Hardik’s place only to find Raavi sitting on the sofa quietly without saying much, while a visibly worried Hardik is trying to get her to drink some water.

"Tu aa gaya, kya hua hai Raavi ke saath, aise kaise Shiva ne usse ghar se nikaal diya aur tune aise hone kaise diya" questions Hardik while glaring at Gaumbi.

Gaumbi fills in all the details to Hardik, also tells him about how Anita and Maami trapped Raavi and tricked Shiva to believe them. He goes to Raavi, places an arm on her shoulder and tells her "Raavi, sab ko sach pata chal gaya hai, aur main sab kuch theek kar doonga, tu ghar chal mere saath, tere saath jo bhi hua galat hua, pann aise Shiva ke kehen pe tu ghar chod ke kaise aa gayi, pehle bhi woh kitni baar tujhe ghar se nikaalta tha, phir bhi tu har baar haq se ghar mein guske aati thi naa, Pandya Pariwar toh humesha se tere apna hi raha hai naa"

After all this while, finally Raavi opens her mouth to talk and she looks athim with such helplessness and says,

"Main thak gayi hoon, Gaumbi, humare rishte ki ladai akele ladte ladte, ab mujhse aur nahi ho paayega, main aap se request karti hoon, ki please aap mujhe ghar wapas aane ke liye force mat kijiye, kyun iske aage main nahi seh paaongi, agli baar phir kuch kaand hoga, maasi aur Anita Di ke wajah se aur phir mujhpe hi ungliyaan uthenge, aur phir mujhe ghar chodne ke liye kaha jaayega"

"Raavi, main tera bada bhai hone ke naate keh raha hoon, ek baar ghar aake Shiva se baat toh kar, tujhe jo shikhaayate hai, tu kar usse, tujhe sazaa deni hai de de, aise ghar chodne se koi solution nahi milega iska, tu dono pati patni ho" says Gaumbi trying to convince her.

"Pati, patni" smirked Raavi sarcastically, "Shayad aap bhool gayi Gaumbi, humara talak ho chuka, main Shiva ki biwi thi, hum pati-patni the, aur rahi baat aapke bade bhai hone ke naate, aap mujhse wada kijiye kia aap Shiva ko aaj mujhse yahan milne se rokhenge, kyun aaj jitni baatein maine suni aur kahi, uske baad mujh mein aur baatein aur taane sun ne ki energy nahi hai, main thak gayi hoon" said Raavi dejectedly.

She also clarifies her stance by saying, "Aur Main situation se bhaagoongi nahi aur aapke baat ka maan rakhoongi aur agar Shiva ko mujhse baat karni hai, toh aap usse kaho ki woh kal aa jaaye yahan, aap ke kehen pe main usse zaroor baat karoongi"

She folded her arms in front of Gaumbi and firmly looked him in the eye said "Par Main Pandya Niwas wapas nahi aaongi, iski ummeed aap chod dijiye" and she went running back to her room upstairs in tears and fell down on the floor as she entered.

"Kyun kiya tune mere saath aisa, Shiva, Kyun, Kya tu mujhse itna nafrat karta hai, Ki tujhe mujhpe itna bhi bharosa nahi tha, Kyun, sab kuch tune barbaad kar diya Shiva, sab kuch kitna sahi jaa raha tha, ek pal mein tune mujhe itna paraya bana diya, mujhe toh laga tha finally finally main tere pattar jaise dil mein jagah bana li hai, pann tune sab kuch khatam kar diya, sab kuch..." hugging her knees and sobbing uncontrollably.

Gaumbi, with a heavy sigh and disappointment, texts Shiva "Raavi mil gayi hai, woh theek hai, pann abhi kisi se milne ke halaat main nahi hai, Hardik ke ghar pe hai". He thanks Hardik for letting Raavi stay here and tells him to keep an eye on her and leaves for Pandya Niwas.

Meanwhile, Shiva is relieved to know Raavi has been found. He feels like he can breathe again, he breathes a sigh of relief, but reading Gaumbi’s message, he realizes she’s not fine and is about to rush to Hardik bhai’s house, but his phone buzzes again, "agar tu usse jaake baat karne ka soch raha hai, toh mat kar, maine usse baat ki hai, aur usne kaha hai ki agar tujhe usse baat karni hai toh kal aake Hardik bhai ke ghar pe usse baat kare, aaj usse tujhse nahi milna, dekh Shiva, ab jo woh chahe, jaisa woh chahe, waise hi hoga, agar tu mujhe apna bhai aur Raavi ko apni biwi manta hai, toh aaj tu usse milne nahi jaayega, samjha?"

Shiva frowned upon reading that message, he wanted to go to her, hold her, see if she’s doing fine, tell her he’s sorry and hug her so tight and never let her go. But he realizes he has already taken things too far and if she’s asked him to wait till tomorrow, he would. But there was something strange about the fact that she was willing to meet him after all that he had done, which he wasn’t able to place.

He started pondering over all the moments they had shared and all he could remember where the amount of times, he had hurt her, he had pushed her away in his anger, he could see everything clearly this time. 

"Humare love story ka dushman main khud hoon, mere gusse ne aaj mujhse sab kuch cheen liya, kaise nahi dekha maine yeh sab, aise kaise samajh liya ki yeh sab Raavi ne kiya hai, woh Raavi jo aaj tak kisi ka bura naa soche, maine uspe hi shak kiya, zindagi ki har mod pe, maine tujhe sirf takleef hi takleef di hai, pehle tujhe khud divorce diya, phir tujhe Maa ke taane sun ne padhe, logon ke taane sun ne padhe, phir ab jab baat Dhara bhabhi ki bacche ki aayi, main ne tab bhi tujhe hi doshi maana"

He gets a flashback of them coming back on the bike after he rescues her from the traffickers and her muttering "Main kya karti, saari galti meri akele ki thodi na hai, tu hi Anita Di ke peeche bhaag raha tha, mujhe kya mazaa aata hai tujhe jail main dekhne main, nahi na, main toh sab ko bolti rahi Anita Di ke harkaton se bachne ke liye, aur main hi phas gayi"

He thinks about the number of times Raavi tried to explain to him that she wasn’t involved, that she didn’t do anything and he didn’t listen, all these things start ringing in his ears and he tries to shut it out by closing his ears and eyes and screams his heart out.

When his thoughts start to gather around again, he thinks "Aaj se tu mere liye Mami Ki Behen Ki Beti nahi rahegi Raavi, yeh sab iss liye hua kyun ki main tujhe kabhi Maami se alag dekh hi nahi paaya, pann ab aur nahi, ab se tu sirf mere liye meri Raavi hogi, meri Chipkali"

"Kal main tujhse milne aaonga, aur tu jaisa chahegi, sab waise hoga, maine tujhe aaj tak jitne dukh dard diye, pann ab se tujhe sirf tere hisse ki khushiyaan hi milega, chahe jo ho jaaye, yeh Shiva Pandya,  kar ke rahega" determinedly thinking about tomorrow, when it starts to pour down heavily.

He looks up at the skies and remembers his words "Aag ko behte paani ki thandak, aur Shiva ko Raavi…" and thanks his Bholenath for his sign. 

As he rides on his bike, back to Pandya Niwas, he slows down near Hardik Bhai’s house. He thinks he will just go take a peek as to how Raavi is doing and will leave silently without meeting her, thus climbs up through the pipe leading to the window of the spare room in Hardik Bhai’s place and peeks in. He is distraught to see Raavi sleeping at the foot of the bed with her head resting awkwardly against the bed and her cheeks all wet apparent from the weeping she had been doing. Unable to watch her in that state and seeing her shivering, , he slows enters through the balcony, unable to stop himself picks her up, places her on the bed and covers her with a blanket and tucks her hair behind her ears and sits beside her for sometime. His heart fills up with the guilt of seeing the situation he has put her in. Before she wakes up, he decides to leave, after throwing a final fleeting glance at her, just to convince his heart that she is okay, he climbs down.

The next morning Raavi wakes up and thinks about all the past events that have happened, she decides thinking, "Bas bohut ho gaya yeh rona, aaj se main bilkul bhi dukhi nahi rahoongi, main apno ke pyaar ke liye kabhi nahi tarsoongi, especially woh jinko mere rehne yaa naa rehne se koi farak nahi padta, main apni career pe dhyaan doongi, padhai complete kar ke, job le loongi, aakhir kab tak main aise Hardik bhai ke ghar pe rahoongi"

Determined to leave her past pain and heartbreak behind, she eats breakfast and gets ready and gathers all her books and is about to walk out of the door and she tackles with a hard figure that just entered through the door and her books go flying out of her hands and she’s stumbles and is about to fall back, when a firm pair of hands catches her at the right time, preventing her from the hurt she would have gotten.
