RECAP: ANJALI'S ENGAGEMENT BROKEN.. RAAJ PALNNING SOMETHING AGAINST ARMAAN.. RIDHHIMA'S ACCIDENT..

Part 26

 A day nd a half passed nd Mr.Mallik was rushing in Sanjeevni's corridor.. he spotted Armaan looking pale nd weak sitting on the bench outside ICU nd rushed to him.. Muskaan was dropped home nd Rahul accompanied Mr.Mallik..

"Ammy.. Ridhhima..? kya hua hai usse..?" Mr.Mallik asked in an anxious tone.. just then Dr.Kirti arrived with the inspector.. "Mr.Mallik.. the only witness at the accident spot has given us the truck's no. which had hit Ridhhima's car.. they've found out about him nd arrested him.."

"I don't care about that damn driver.. I want to know about My Daughter.. where is she.. is she fine or we need better doctors nd equipments.." Mr.Mallik burst out on Kirti who was standing there with Shashank nd the inspector.. all three of them were shocked at his sudden outburst when Rahul came to rescue.. "Dad.. calm down please.. they're doctors nd they're handling bhabhi's case.. Dr.Kirti I'm sorry about all this but can you please tell us about bhabhi first.." Rahul said politely.. they went to Kirti's cabin with her while Shashank was left there standing besides Armaan.. he knew Armaan hadn't even moved from where Ridhhima was.. he hadn't been eating well since last two days now.. nd was crying continuously.. for once his heart wanted to believe in Armaan's love nd console him but still his Ego won..

Dr.Kirit's Cabin..

"Mr.mallik.. hum iss waqt Ridhhima ke saare tests karva rahe hain.. vo behosh hai.. she has a multiple fracture in her leg nd a deep cut in her hand but the main problem is her head injury.. it is very deep nd risky.. the vains of her brain have swollen up nd it can result in Haemorrage too.." Kirti said explaining things to Rahul nd MR.Mallik who seemed to be in tears with this explaination.. "Aaap usse bacha lijiye please.." Mr.Mallik said joining his hands in front of Kriti nd Shubhankar..

Shubhankar debated for a minute nd the said "Look sir.. there is another BIG news.. Ridhhima ko agar agle do din mein hosh nahi aata to she can even go into Coma nd then we'll have to abort her child.." Rahul nd Jai Mallik were shocked to hear this.. "Ridhhima..? pregnant..?" Mr.Mallik uttered..

"Ji sir she is 1.5 weeks pregnant.. yeh baat shayad Armaan aur Ridhhima mein se koi nahi janat hai coz its a very early stage.." Kirti said nd left the cabin with moist eyes.. Shubhankar followed her to balance her while Atul then entered with the inspector..

"Uncle.. inspector says that its not an accident but an attempt to murder.. uss driver ne inhe ek sketch banane mein help ki.. nd it is the man who had given him the money for that accident.." Listening to Atul, Mr.mallik narrowed his eyebrows as his anger rose.. nd before he could speak a constable came in with the sketch made.. Atul was rooted on the spot looking at it.. while Mr.Mallik was wondering if he had seen him before or not..

"Inspector main isse nahi jaanta.. you look for him.."Mr.Mallik said to the inspector.. when Atul interrupted.. nd said he knows who the person in the sketch is..  "Uncle yeh hai Dr.Raaj Khurana.. yeh yahan Anjali se shaadi karne aya thha aur abhi thode din pehle hi maine aur Ammy ne isse yahan se wapas bheja thha.."

As soon as Atul completed Mr.Mallik slapped him.. "Toh yeh sab tum dono ki bewakoofi ka nateeja hai.. tum dono se badla lene ke liye usne meri beti ka accident.." Mr.Mallik left his sentence in midway nd shook his head disgustingly towards Atul..

Blazing in anger he left towards the ICU where Ridhhima was nd Armaan was sitting.. he was there sitting with Shashank standing in a corner observing him nd Anjali consoling him.. "You must be glad now aren't you..?" Mr.Mallik said in a sarcastic tone standing in front of Armaan.. While Armaan looked at him confused.. "Don't give me that look Armaan Mallik.. the inpector says that Ridhhima's accident was an attempt to murder nd this was all planned by Raaj Khurana.. You nd Atul are the ones bcoz of whom Ridhhima is fighting for her life in there.. how can you Arman.. I thought you love her.."

"I do dad.. I do.. nd I never knew that low Sc**bag Raaj Khurana is gonna do this.. seriously dad.. we just went there to save Atul's love or else Anjali's life would have been a living hell.." Armaan said in tears nd anger as well.. to which enraged Mr.Mallik said "I don't care a damn about anyone else.. you helped Dr.Gupta's daughter when he himself was determined to ruin her life but now IT IS MY DAUGHTER FIGHTNG FOR LIFE ND NOT DR. SHASHANK GUPTA'S YOU GET THAT.. Now I am not willing to accept Anjali for Atul.. do whatever you want to.. main ab Atul ki shaadi Anjali se nahi hone dunga.. jis ladki ko bachane ke liye Ridhhima ki yeh halat hui main usse apni family mein koi jagah nahi dunga.. nd that's final.. nd yes.. If something happens to Ridhhima I promise to never see yours nd Atul's face ever in my life.."

Mr.Mallik left to talk to Rahul so that they can get some of experts from around the world.. while in all this commotion Ridhhima's pregnancy was forgotten.. While on the otherhand Shashank, Anjali, Armaan nd Atul were mortified listening to Jai Mallik.. His words were still ringing in Shashank's ears.. "you helped Dr.Gupta's daughter when he himself was determined to ruin her life but now IT IS MY DAUGHTER FIGHTNG FOR LIFE ND NOT DR. SHASHANK GUPTA'S YOU GET THAT.." While Anjali was sad realising that she had somehow actually become the reason for her sister's accident..

While Armaan nd Atul were in a deep guilt of hurting nd neglecting Ridhhima in all this.. Atul knew NOW when Mr.Mallik has given his final verdict there was no reason for him to even think of Anjali.. while Armaan was just trying to figure out a way to kill himself or get his Ridhhima back to life..

"Sahi kaha dad ne.. kisi aur ke liye maine apni Jaan ko maut ke mooh mein daal diya.. Maine aisa pehle kabhi nahi kiya Atul.. how can I forget that I have a family to protect.. Dad is right.. aaj meri vajah se Ridhhima ki Jaan.. nahi.. aisa nahi hoga.. agar hum dono mein se ek ko marna hai to main marunga.. Ridhhima ki yahan sabko zarrorat hai.. aur waise bhi ab main apne aap ko kabhi maaf nahi kar sakta.. agar usse kuch ho gaya to main bhi marr jaunga uske bina.." Armaan again started to cry histerically.. Since it been two days he was weak.. he suddenly dropped on the floor unconcious..

Khurana's Farmhouse, Mumbai

Raaj was sitting there with some of his friends partying after what he did.. but he was still unaware of the fact that his plan has failed.. he had planned to murder Armaan but istead Ridhhima was in ICU nd even the truck driver is in police custody.. He was in his farmhouse for two days nd has not contacted the driver as he felt it was unsafe to do so.. that's why he was completely unaware of the current situation..

"Chalo yaar.. ab kal chalke apne sasurjee aur unki dono betiyon se milke aayenge.. dekhe to sahi uss Armaan ki dead body par roti hui Ridhhima kitni achhi lagegi.. aur mujhe vahan dekh kar Anjali ko kaisa lagega.." Raaj said to himself as he was completely drunk..

 

Sanjeevni

"Dad.. Armaan bhai is very weak.. na kuch kha raha hai aur na hi koi dawa lene ko tayaar hai.. aap please bolo na unse kuch.. you know how much he loves bhabhi.." Rahul said trying to calm down his dad.. while Kirti joined in too saying "Mr.Mallik.. Armaan ki halat serious ho iske pehle unhe kuch kha lena chaiye.. behoshi ki halat mein bhi vo sirf "Ridhhima I'm Sorry.."  bole ja rahe hain.."

Jai Mallik knew he has been unfairly rude nd angry on Armaan nd Atul by blaming them for all this but his heart was ripped into small pieces looking at Ridhhima's condition.. he knew after all this only he can handle Armaan.. he composed himself.. wiped his tears nd marched towards emergency room..

Entering, he saw Armaan mumbling only Ridhhima's name.. he went inside nd stroked Armaan's head lightly.. Armaan opened his eyes with great effort saying "Sorry dad.. meri vajah.. Ridhhima.." he was too weak to speak complete sentences.. "Nahi Armaan.. tumhari koi galti nahi hai.. tum to Ridhhima se itna pyar karte ho.. you can never hurt her.. maine to vo sab gusse mein keh diya thha beta.. tum thoda sa kuch khao Ammy.. you have to be strong for Ridhhima nd Arav.. Arav needs his father.." Tears started flowing yet again from Armaan's eyes as his father fed him some juice nd sandwitch with love.. he understood what his father said.. Arav needs his father.. he has not met either of his parents for two days..

After all this Armaan hugged Mr.Mallik nd crying like a baby.. "Main uske bina nahi jee paunga dad.. I Love Her.. main marr jaunga uske bina.. kuch kariye dad.. main mom ke baad Ridhhima ko nahi kho sakta.. please dad.." unknown to them Shashank was observing this from the door.. He felt really guilty for not believing Ridhhima, Anjali or Armaan when it came to Raaj.. he was even more guilty to see Armaan in so much pain just for Ridhhima.. He has by now realised his mistake nd was even ready to beg for forgiveness..

Another 12 hours have passed by.. it was late at night when Muskaan had called for Armaan saying Arav is getting really fidgety here without his mom nd dad.. he walked to where Mr.Mallik nd Atul were.. "Atul.. Arav vahan muski ko pareshaan kar raha hai.. akele rehne ki aadat nahi hai usse.. main thodi der main usse sula kar aya.. (then turned to Mr.mallik) Dad.. Drona se doctors ki team abhi thodi der mein yahan hogi nd I've even called Dr.Johnson back to India for Ridhhima's case.." to which Anjali said "Armaan main chaloon tumhare saath..?" Armaan frowned nd gave a quick reply before anyone else there "Nahi.. main ab apni family ka khayal rakh sakta hoon.. I don't need strangers helping me.. jitni help karni thhi vo aap log pehle hi kar chuke hain.." nd rushed to home..

On the way home Armaan got a few chocolates for Arav.. as soon as Arav saw Armaan he just ran nd hugged him.. "papa.." Armaan picked him up nd kissed him.. involuntary he tried to feel Ridhhima's presence around in Arav.. feeling him like he had felt Ridhhima.. fresh tears formed in his eyes which he wiped quickly before Arav could see them..

Nikki nd Muskaan have noticed this flow of emotions nd were in tears looking at Armaan's state.. his tiered face.. his big blue eyes were swollen red nd his smile has just vanished..

Armaan took Arav to his room.. he made him lie down on the bed nd covered him with his quilt.. patting him lovingly nd lightly to sleep.. Arav held one of his hands nd kissed it.. "Papa.. mama kahan hai..?" Arav asked sweetly.. Armaan controlled himself nd said "Beta mamma kisi kaam se thode din ke liye gayi hain.. lekin mama ka pyar to yahin hai aapke paas.." Armaan got up nd brought a small pooh bear which Ridhhima had given Arav.. "Yeh mama ne diya thha na aapko.. jab bhi mama ki yaad aaye isse hug karna to mama bhi aapko flying kissie degi.. aur agar aap roge to bhi mama ko pata chal jayega aur phir mama bhi royegi.. aap aisa to nahi chahte na beta.." Armaan said brushing his hair with love nd Arav nodded in NO.. Armaan then took him in his lap saying  "Arav.. aap thode time Bua aur maasi ke paas rehna okk.. mamma jaldi vapas aayegi.. aur yeh papa ka promise hai aapse.." nd craddled him till he was asleep.. After Arav was in deep sleep Armaan took a shower changed nd went back to hospital..

He was informed that Drona's team was here.. nd was sitting in Shashank's cabin so he directly walked over there.. he was about to open the door when he heard Mr.Mallik saying "Yeh baat abhi Ammy ko pata nahi chalni chaiye.." he frowned nd stood ther listenig to the discussion..

"I think Mr.Mallik is right.. Armaan abhi tak Ridhhima ko lekar apne appko samhaal nahi paaye hain aur agar aise mein unhe pata chala ki Ridhhima pregnant hain to vo.." Shubhankar stopped in middle as the door flunged open nd shocked Armaan was standing there..Armaan was lookin at everyone in general yet noone in particular..

"Rid.. ridhhi.. ridhhimaaa..preg..pregnant.. hai.." he whispered to himself as if trying to tell himself that NOW not just his wife but his child's life was at stake.. his vision blurred nd next moment he underwent a blackout nd fainted there nd then..

"He is in a state of shock.. inhe jaldi se emergency room mein lekar chaliye.." Kirit ordered Atul nd Anjali.. They nodded nd he was rushed to the emergency room..

Now ther were just 24hours left for Ridhhima to get back.. even Armaan was unconcious.. After an hour Armaan gained conciousness nd freed himself from the drip.. as the nurse tried to stop him he bursted onto her "Meri biwi aur bachhe ko meri zaroorat hai.. chodo mujhe.." nd rushed out to ICU where Ridhhima was.. no one stopped him from entering in.. Entering he first saw the monitor which showed Ridhhima's heart beats nd then the other one which showed the heart beats of the child.. he sat down besides her nd took her hand n his.. he kissed her hand nd then with one hand stroked her stomatch.. fresh lot of teras started burning from his eyes.. "Tum mujhse dur nahi ja sakti samjhi tum.. maine kaha thha ki tum meri dil ki dhadkan ho.. agar tum chali gayi to main bhi nahi rahunga.. mere liye na sahi Ridhhima humare bachon ke liye.. tumhe yeh ladayi jeetni hogi.." he was crying intensely nd didn't knew when he slept in the same position..

He woke up when he felt a light grip on his finger.. He immideately rushed nd got Dr.Kirit nd Dr.Johnson to ICU as he felt Ridhhima move her fingers..

"Dr.Kirti I felt her move.. check her please.. I felt her move.." Armaan said with tears glistening in his eyes.. Kirti signalled Rahul to take Armaan outside.. Rahul nodded nd took Armaan out of the ICU unwillingly.. "Rahul.. she is gonna be fine Rahul.. My Love is back to Life.." Armaan said in an anxious tone as if consoling himself that she'll be fine.. Rahul knew Armaan is in no state to listen to him so he just supported him by agreeing to what he said.. Rahul made Armaan sit on the bench while Jai Mallik got a call.. He moved to a secluded corner nd attended the call.. after the call he came to Armaan nd Rahul.. he patted Armaan's head lightly nd said "Ronny called just now.. they have him.."  Armaan immideately rose from the bench.. he was angry.. "Where have they kept him..?" Armaan asked while the rest (ie. Shashank, Padma, Anjali, Shubhankar nd Atul) were confused.. "Bro.. I've asked them to take him to the cops.." Rahul said to which Armaan brursted "Dammit Rahul.. he hasn't done anything wrong with the police.. he has harmed my family.. nd I wanna see him before he goes to the court.." Rahul nodded nd called Ronny..

[Ronny is Mr.Mallik's body guard.. Mr.Mallik had put him on a mission to search for Raaj.. nd now the Malliks were discussing about that only..]

Half an hour later..

Atul came to Armaan saying "Ammy.. Ronny is here.. he wants to see you.. he is underground parking.." Armaan arched his eyebrows nd walked away angrily.. a few minutes later Dr.Kirti came along with Rahul nd Mr.Mallik smiling as Ridhima was now fine nd out of danger.. It took them an hour to check her completely nd still she was unknown to her pregnancy as Mr.Mallik wanted Armaan to disclose this news to her..

"Atul.. Ammy kahan hai.. we have a good news for him.." Mr.Mallik asked Atul..

"Uncle.. Ronny was here so Ammy had gone to see him in the parking.." Atul said casually.. to which Rahul squealed "What..?.. Atul.. Ronny had kidnapped Raaj from his farmhouse nd he is here with Raaj trapped with him.. Bro will kill him.. tune akele kyun jaane diya unhe.."

"Arre yar I didn't knew anything about this.. jaldi chal vahan.." Atul nd Rahul rushed while the news of Raaj being caught like this gave Guptas a shock.. Looking at their shocked faces Mr.Mallik smirked nd said "Don't be so shocked Dr.Gupta.. Ronny is my body guard.. nd as far as Raaj Khurana is concerned.. No one gets away hurting My Family.. aur iss bar to baat MERI BETI ki zindagi ki thhi.." as he was about to go he turned nd smiled saying "Waise Ridhhima is concious nd fine now.. nd you can come with me to the parking if you want to have a word with ur Oh-so-perfect-son-in-law-for-me.."

Padma nd Anjali waited till Ridhhima was shifted to a private room.. while on the otherhand in the parking Jai Mallik nd Shashank reached to find five strong built men standing in a circle nd in the middle was Armaan who was beating Raaj like he would kill him with bare hands.. Raaj had no luck to even touch Armaan while Armaan was just punching nd kicking him as if repaying him for each nd every second he had felt Ridhhima going away from him.. for each nd every moment his son has missed his mother..

When it was too much Atul nd Rahul came to stop him but he asked them not to interfere very strictly.. Ten minutes later when Shashank felt that Raaj might die at the spot he grabbed Armaan's arms nd stopped him while enraged Armaan just shrugged him off saying "Aaj mere saamne matt aiyega Dr.Gupta.. Ab bhi isse humdardi hai aapko.. Huh..! main bhool gaya thha.. jab aap AAPNI BETI KI SHAADI ISKE SAATH KARVA SAKTE HAIN TO PHIR RIDHHIMA TO AAPKE LIYE HAI HI KYA.. USSE TO AAPNE ADOPT KIYA THHA NA.. JAB AAPKO APNI BETI KI TAKLEEF NAHI DIKHI TO MERI RIDHHIMA KA DARD KAISE DIKHEGA.. KYUNKI AAPNE TO USSE ADOPT KARKE USPE EHSAAN KIYA THHA.." Armaan kept on sayin all this unkowingly while Jai Mallik got a shock of life knowing all this..

He went forward to stop Armaan but Armaan turned to him saying "No dad.. don't stop me.. let this man realise that its only because of him Ridhhima has cried so much.. only because of him was she compelled to leave her mother nd sister nd make up a lie in front of you saying she is an orphan.. he is the one responsible for bringing this Bl***y Raaj Khurna back in our lives.."

"Ammy.. shut up now.. get a grip on yourself nd go to Ridhhima.. she is concious nd perfectly fine.. She wants to see you nd Arav.." listening to Mr.Mallik Armaan's anger vanished in a second, a huge glint of relief was spread on his face.. next moment he hugged his father with a few tears in his eyes nd rushed to Ridhhima.. While everyone left Shashank fell on his knees crying nd burying his face in his palms as for the first time someone has actually shown him the mirror.. he felt disgusted of himself.. he looked up when he felt a hand on his shoulder.. it was Jai Mallik.. he gave Shashank a reassuring smile nd supported him to stand up..
