Part  21

This is Arav for you guys..

Arav was asleep.. Mr.Mallik wanted to keep him for the night so he asked Ridhhima to let him be.. Ridhhima was now sitting at the slope in the garden plucking the grass as if taking her anger out on it.. her mind was full of confusion.. Armaan's love nd care never had a question mark with them but certainly Shashank's love has now.. his way of looking at them.. Arav getting uncomfortable in his presence.. his hating Armaan.. nd why he had tears in his eyes when Arav was playing with Mr.Mallik.. why was he crying silently a while ago when Armaan was scolding her for being a superwomen nd fighting goons.. She wanted to share her fears with someone.. she knew Armaan would always support her putting his desires aside which she never ever wanted..

As she was so lost in herself her head was spinning now.. she found a support nd looked up to find Shashank there.. he made her have her medicine nd asked if she was fine.. she thanked him started to go when he started.. "thodi der mere saath baat kar sakti ho please.." She gulped at the request.. she thought twice nd found no harm in talking till it wasn't against Armaan.. she nodded lightly nd sat at a distance.. He looked at her nd started "Ridhhima.. I've never seen my fragile daughter fighting goons before.. It was good to see you strong.."

"Armaan trained me in self-defence techniques.. to protect myself when he isn't around.. he can't see me hurt.." Ridhhima replied with no emotions nd just plainly.. Shashank looked at her nd sighed.. "I want my daughter back.. may I know how can that be..?.." Ridhhima froze as he spoke.. she was certainly not expecting this.. she calmed herself down nd spoke in a determined voice.. "You've lost her on your own.. you've made me what I am today.. had it not been your rejection for my love I would have never learnt to stand up for myself.. Thank you for that.." Shashank was surprised at her coldness.. "Please Ridhhima.. if I apologise to you would you nd Arav accept me..?.." he said to which Ridhhima asked immideately "What about Armaan..?. Me nd Arav don't take any step in our lives without him with us.. if you accept him then only I'll give it a try coz you've done a lot that has left marks.. Arav is still not comfortable by your sight.. you scared him to death that day.. why did you do that..? just because he is Armaan's son.. but how can you forget he is mine too.. the very daughter's who you want back so dearly now leaving all your past ego.." She was in tears now.. all her past anguish was taking the form of words.. she knew no control to her emotions yet she kept herself strong enough not to break in front of him.. but all her emotions ceased nd anger rose as she heard him say "I can never accept Armaan as a part of my Family.. I want you nd Arav.. Armaan Mallik stole my daughter from me 5yrs. back.. I can never forgive him for that.. never.. coz of the fact that I know he doesn't love anyone but himself.. he'll desert you too.."  this was it.. she was angry now.. she stopped him nd snapped back in stern tone.. "ENOUGH.. no more against Armaan.. Had it not been Armaan I would have been dead.. he saved me so many time before nd after our marriage from so many mishaps.. you don't want him as a part of your family nd you want me.. how can this be possible coz he a part of me now.. I am Ridhhima Armaan Mallik.. he is my soul.. the only one who makes me feel that world is full of love nd life.. he is the one I wish for when I'm in any trouble coz being in his arms makes me feel shielded from all the miseries.. Ridhhima nd Arav can't stay away from Armaan.. Armaan ko pata chal jata hai jab humein uski zaroorat hoti hai.. aisa hai humara rishta.. this wasn't possible 5yrs. back not even now nd neither will it be in the future.. you take another step to come in between me nd Armaan, I'll die I promise.."

She was now loud enough to be heard at a distance where Armaan was with the Gang.. the sound was weak but he knew it was HER.. he started to come closer when he heard their conversation.. "you're wrong Ridhhima.. you've judged him wrong.. I came here to gave you another chance to get back but you are determined to ruin yours nd Arav's life.. you're right.. I've lost my daughter long time back.. You're Mrs.Mallik nd not my sweet daughter anymore.."  he said all that while Ridhhima was facing the other side nd crying.. she didn't wanted him to know that his words were making him weak.. but for Armaan it wasn't tough at all, he could very well see his Ridhhima was in tears.. unnoticed by Shashank he went to her nd hid her in his arms.. she stood up with him nd stayed in his arms as if gaining strength from him.. Armaan picked her up in his arms as she was sobbing nd started to walk away.. As Shashank turned to face Ridhhima, he found Ridhhima missing nd then at a distance he found her breaking down sitting in Armaan's lap.. he was soothing her nd hugging her tight.. Shashank felt yet another defeat.. Ridhhima's words echoed in his mind "Armaan ko pata chal jata hai jab humein uski zaroorat hoti hai.. aisa hai humara rishta.." he walked towards his room for which he has to cross THEM..

"Armaan.. main.. vo.. vahan.." Ridhhima tried to speak hicupping nd sobbing.. "Ridhhima.. Shhh.. pehle chup ho jao.. phir batana jo bhi hai.. Bas bachha stop crying.. (as if reading her mind he said) see I'm here with you na.. nothing is gonna happen I promise.. noone is gonna sepereate us.." at his last line she gripped him tight.. "I Love You Armaan.. I can't live without you.. why can't they get this simple fact in their heads.. he wants me nd Arav in his life but why can't he understand I'm not just Ridhhima now.. I'm Ridhhima Armaan Mallik.. you're a part of me.. I'll die without you.."

"Nahi Ridhhima aisa nahi kehte.. jab tak main hoon tumhe koi pareshaani chhu bhi nahi paayegi.. I'll protect nd love you nd Arav for life.." feeling her sobs subside abit he knew she was still thinking of it.. he wanted to throw it all out from her system once nd for all.. he can't see her breaking again nd again coz of THEM..

As her head rested on his shoulder he gave it a light jerk so that she looks up nd said in a really adorable tone "Oye.. tum bhi na.. ek dum budhhu ho.. Armaan aur Ridhhima ko alag koi nahi kar sakta.. tum meri Jaan ho.. mera sab kuch ho.. tumse hi to mujhe har rishta mila hai.. pyar mila jab main bilkul akela thha.. meri family vapas aayi kyunki tumne koshish ki.. Aur phir Arav aaya.. humare pyar ki nishaani.. humein koi alag nahi kar sakta.. main tumhari rooh mein bas chuka hoon aur tum meri har dhadkan main zinda ho.. samjhi.. agli baar koi kahe ki Armaan Ridhhima alag ho sakte hain to usse bas meri dhadkane suna dena jismein sirf tumhara naam hai.." he finished in an adorable tone nd kissed her forehead.. taking her into a hug.. "I Love You.." 

"nd I trust you Armaan.." she said with love in her voice..

 

Shashank witnessed this consoling scene from behind the tree.. he again cursed Armaan under his breath for taking away his daughter but then kicked himself mentally too for being harsh with her.. "If I would have been gentle a bit she would have considered my option.. but gave this Armaan another chance of taking her away from me.. Huh..!.." he thought nd walked to his cottage..

Next morning Shashank nd Padma were sitting with Anjie, Rahul nd Muskaan.. casually talking of Sanjeevni nd Drona.. Arav came nd sat in Padma's lap who was sitting next to Shashank.. looking at Arav, shashank mind rewind all the last night conversation with Ridhhima.. As Ridhhima saw this, she was awkward with Arav getting close to Padma.. NOW she wanted him to maintain a distance after what she came across last night.. so she came to take Arav asking him to come with her.. "Arav.. chalo hum papa ke saath khelenge.. aajao.."

"Nahi mama.. naani stoly shuna lahi hai.." Arav said nodding in NO.. Ridhhima frowned nd continued in the same loving tone "Arav mama bhi aapko story sunayegi.. promise.. chalo.." She tried to convince him but in vain.. so Anjie interrupted.. "Ridz.. rehne de na..vo thodi der mom ke paas rehna chahta hai to.."

"Nahi Di.. main usse jhoote rishtoon ke sapne nahi de sakti.." She said looking at Shashank who understood what Ridhhima meant clearly.. but again Padma asked "Ridhhima yeh tu kya bol rahi hai..?. Arav mera bhi to.." she was cut in between by rude Ridhhima "Main theek keh rahi hoon.. main aur Arav, Armaan ko akela chodkar koi naya ya purana rishta nahi nibhana chahte.. aapke saath aise log hai jo Mere Armaan ki izzat nahi karte.. usse apnana nahi chahte.. to main aur Arav bhi unn rishton ko apnane se inkaar karte hain.." Ridhhima said implying her point towards Shashank.. Padma knew there has to be something while RM kept quiet listening to Ridhhima's serious tone..

 
Ridhhima then settled on her knees in front of Arav nd said in a baby tone "Arav aap mama ko poem nahi sunaoge aaj.. Hmm.. Ab Arav mama se story nahi sunega.." she said pouting, pretending to be angry just like he does to which Arav hugged her nd said "Meli pyaali mama.. mujhe na vo fairy waali story sunni hai jo aap aul papa shaath shaath sunate ho.." he finished kissing her cheek.. kissing her convinced son nd picking him up she left with him chatting nd giggling.. she turned nd said "Rahul.. the D-Gang's Rapid Fire is on its way.. care to join in.." she left smiling..

 
Shashank was in tears.. as soon as Rahul nd Muskaan left asking Anjie to join in too.. she said she'll join in a while nd asked Shashank what was the matter for Ridhhima's harsh behaviour.. Shashank told them all that happened at night.. his nd Ridhhima's convo nd then how Armaan took crying Ridhhima in his arms nd then their consoling conversation.. Padma nd Anjie were shocked nd didn't blame Ridhhima for anything at all.. she was right on her part.. Padma was too shocked to say anything but Anjie did asked "How could you dad.. when she was getting closer you pushed her all the more farther.. ab vo Arav ko bhi humse dur rakhne lagegi just like she did just now.. nd we all know Arav never talks over Ridhhima.. Why don't you accept Armaan dad.. aur kuch na sahi to Ridz aur Arav ke liye hi sahi.." She left in a huff saying this nd joined the D-Gang for their rapid fire..

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

Anjie came nd saw what the rapid fire actually was..  Here everyone has to pick up 4 chits from the bowl kept.. it had names of every player.. whom-so-ever's name is being picked up asks the question to the player who has picked up the chit.. being in D-Gang there was NO ESCAPE.. each nd every question had to be answered.. As the first round got finished everyone was planning for the second one putting anjie's name in the bowl too.. So at first it was Armaan's turn.. He picked up 4 chits which had Atul, Ron, Meggs nd Anjie's name in it.. so the questions started for which answers had to be given in an instant..

 
1. (meggs) Whom do you love the most..?  "MOM & Ridhhima.. sorry I can't choose between them.."

2. (Atul)  you can even give up your life for'?  "Arav.."

3. (Anjie) your soul aim is..? "To keep Ridhhima happy.."

4. (Ron) One thing you want to change abut RD..? "Her soft heart for the ones who hurt her.."

 "Okk.. guys I'm done.. ab Ridhhima's turn.." Armaan declared.. Ridhhima picked up four chits which had Anjie, Armaan, Steve nd Ron..

Armaan asked "Tumhari zindagi ka sabse important hissa..?"  "Arav.." he wanted it to be his name.. but kept queit as Ron asked his question 

"I thought it would be AMMY.. don't you love him the most..?"   "meri zindagi mein sabse important Arav hai kyunki Armaan to meri zindagi hai na.."  Ridhhima answered looking at Armaan..

next was anjie.. she purposefuly asked this question.. "Koi insaan apni galti ki sache dil se maafi mange to kya tum usse maaf karogi..?" Ridhhima knew it was on purpose still she answered her feelings "Agar vo galti jaan ke ki gayi hogi to main usse kabhi maf nahi karungi.."

Now was last Steve's question "What if Ammy goes away from you..?" the question immideately triggered Armaan who asked Steve to Shut up as he thought it might hurt Ridhhima like it did last night but Ridhhima's strong reply made him smile.. Ridhhima answered in a sweet tone "He can never go away Steve.. coz he lives in my soul.. nd when the soul leaves the body we die.."

 
"Now who's gonna go next.." Ridhhima asked nd Atul volunteered.. so here were Atul's chits.. Ridhhima, Rahul, Muskaan, Liz..

1. (rahul) whom do you love..?  (Atul pause nd when Anjali nodded) "ANJALI.."

All of them were surprised.. but it was a rule.. none of the answers would be cross questioned by the same player..

2. (muski) kaise hua yeh sab..? "Well.. you can call it Love at First Sight.. nd confession at Kasauli.."

3. (ridz) What if she chose her father on you..?  "Dunno.. may be we're not meant to be then.." Ridhhima smirked at his answer.. she wanted to say something more but stopped Armaan asked her not to..

4. (liz) How many girlfriends did you have before her..? (Anjie became furious when Atul took 5mins. for counting them..lolz..) 24.. is what I remember..

Ron looked at Anjie nd said "Congrats man.. you've made a sliver jublee.." as he said that he slightly nudged Anjie too.. Anjali got up nd left saying "Silver Jublee my foot.. Huh..!.."

As she left Atul got up nd kicked Ron's butts saying "aise dost hoon to dushmano ki kya zaroorat.." nd ran to get Anjie back..

The gang burst out laughing at this coz they knew Ron did that all on purpose..

All the Gang was sitting now apart from AA.. the gang was tiered as they were playing basketball with the kids for about 2hrs.. they got freshed nd sat around a born fire now as it was abit cold.. Arav was carefully wrapped in his warmers as he is not used to extreme climates.. After awhile it started to blow strongly nd even the sky was dark so all of them shifted inside in the lounge where AA were sitting.. they moved the furniture on the sides nd sat on the mats making a big circle playing cards.. all the while Arav was made to sit besides Armaan coz whenever he tries to cheat Arav says it out aloud.. "Haww..papa cheating.."..lolz.. After sometime it started to rain..It was not a rainstorm nor light drizzling but certainly a bliss for any rain lover.. Atul looked out nd exclaimed "Hey its raining.." to which Armaan instantly replied in a sarcastic tone "Happy realisation buddy.."

Armaan then looked around to look for Arav nd escape his eyes for cheating, he found him missing.. he quickly looked around nd said "Guys.. arav yahan nahi hai.." to which now Atul exclaimed in a sarcastic tone "Happy realisation buddy.."

 
As all of them were about to get up Ridhhima calmed them nd left to look for him on her own.. as she reached the courtyard she saw her life.. running around in the garden, playing with rain.. he was jumping around trying to catch those rain drops making a cup of his tiny palms.. he stopped as he saw Ridhhima standing with an umbrella in one hand nd the other hand on her hips.. she was looking at him frowning.. he gave her his cute smile nd said "Mamma.. kini achhi baalish.. kinna sharaa paani hai na vaha.." he said pointing towards the sky.. his innocence melted her yet again.. she sat on her knees nd hugged him.. "Mera pyara baby.."

As she sat Arav took away the umbrella nd ran away making her chase him.. he stopped when she too was completely drenched.. finally they both sat on the grass nd burst of laughing.. Arav was giggling non stop due to Ridhhima's tickling.. She always felt like a kid herself while playing with Arav.. they jumped into puddles.. Ridhhima twirled him around holding him in her arms but stopped mid way when she saw all others standing in the doorway looking at them..

She bit her lower lip out of nervousness nd then managed to look up at Armaan nd Jai Mallik who were looking most furious of them all.. Ridhhima knew Mr.Mallik never says NO to her or scold her ever.. so Very cutely she held her ears nd said "I'm sorry papa..next time nahi hoga promise.." Although Mr.Mallik was convinced looking at her baby face but still he said "Beta itni thand mein tum baarish mein bheeg rahe ho agar beemar pad gaye to.. achha chalo iss baar maaf kiya.. but next time take care okk.." She nodded happily..

All this while Arav also knew that he did something wrong as his mother apologised just now.. so even without knowing his mistake, he also faced his furious father nd ever so cutely aped Ridhhima's line perfectly.. "Chholly papa.. nesht time nai hoga.. plomishh.." he said holding his ears just like Ridhhima did.. it made Armaan crack a smile looking at him.. he shook his head, bent down nd kissed him.. "You go nd change warna thand lag jayegi.. Arav ko main change kara deta hoon.." Armaan said looking at Ridhhima in a concerned tone..

In AR's room Armaan was changing Arav's clothes.. Ridhhima quickly changed nd got a small glass of warm milk for Arav so that he doesn't fall sick.. as soon as Arav saw that he said "Mama.. dooh-dooh nai.. peesh.."

"Arav.. thoda sa beta.. varna aapko thandi lag jayegi phir mera prince ice cream kaise khayega.. Ajao.." she said putting the glass aside nd taking him in a warm hug.. "chalo yeh finish karo.. mamma ka good boy haina Arav.." She forwarded the glass towards him.. It took her whole 30mins. to make him finish the milk.. after which he refused dinner completely.. he just snuggled up into her lap as she spread the comforter over him.. with in afew minutes he was asleep in her arms holding her tightly.. while she was just looking at him.. caressing his hair lightly nd patting him..

she looked up when she heard a whisper.. "kya soch rahi ho basket.." it was Armaan standing there with a steaming coffee mug in his hands.. "sirf Arav ko hi nahi tumhe bhi thand lag sakti hai.." he said handling her the cup..

Making Arav sleep on the bed comfortably she moved to the small veranda where Armaan was sitting on a huge cushion chair.. she settled herself in his lap when he said "Aaj bada pyar aaraha hai.." she blushed as he traced her neck with his finger with that comment.. "Armaan please.. kabhi to romance choda karo.."

He just smiled at her blush.. they were sharing the coffee he had got awhile ago..

 

Afew momets later Padma came to their room to talk about what Shashank did last night.. getting in she saw only Arav there.. sleeping peacefully hugging his teddy bear.. she thought AR might be somewhere else when she heard a giggling sound from the veranda.. as she approached she heard AR..

"I Love You too Armaan.." Ridhhima said in an adorable tone, still in Armaan's lap.. "Arav aaj kitna pyara lag raha thha na jab usne tumhari tarah sorry kaha thha barish mein bheegne ke liye.." Armaan said.. "Haan Armaan.. main bhi bahar usse dantne gayi thhi.. lekin vo mujhse itne pyar se bola ki mera saraa gussa gayab ho gaya.. sachhi bohot cute hai humara beta.." 

"Tum humesha mere sath rahogi na Ridhhima.. pata nahi ek ajeeb sa darr lagta hai.. jaise mom mujhse dur hogayi kahin tum aur Arav bhi mujhse dur na ho jao.. tum dono mera sab kuch ho Jaan.." he said hugging her from waist.. while she was so happy to have such loving husband.. "Armaan love marriage ke baad kya sab pati apni biwi se itna hi pyaar karte hain.." Ridhhima asked looking at the love in his eyes.. to which he replied with all the love "Haan.. agar unn sab ke paas tumhare jitna pyar karne wali biwi ho to.." he said smiling nd wrapping her shawl around both of them..

looking at them Padma didn't feel like disturbing their moment nd left from there.. while they kept on chatting nd romancing for hours.. it was 2am. when Armaan went to the kitchen to get some coffee for him nd Ridhhima, he found AA sitting in the lounge nd snuggled up warmly.. he smiled wickedly nd went behind them nd suddenly kept a hand on Anjie's shoulder.. she just jumped out of fear thinking its shashank.. "Armaan tum.. mujhe laga dad hain.." she said sighing relief..  "Tum dono ko sharam nahi aati.. itni raat ko yahan akele kya kar rahe ho..?.. yeh orphanage hai yaar bohot saare bachhe hain yahan.."  Armaan said naughtily.. Both Atul nd Anjali were embarressed.. Anjie blushed as Armaan's words were clear enough.. "My my.. someones blushing.." Armaan teased Anjie even more..

"Abe oye.. bhabhi hai teri yaad rakhiyo.." Atul said in the same tone as he says in DMG.. Armaan giggled nd naughtily said "Bhabhi nahi saali hai.. aadhi gharwaali.. you know.." "Gaddaar.. maine tujhse yeh expect nahi kiya thha.. aur waise tu iss waqt kitchen mein kyun ja raha hai..?" Atul asked changing the topic..

"Vo.. main apne aur Ridhhima ke liye coffee banane aaya thha.." Armaan said "Achha.. to tum dono itni raat ko jage hue kyun ho..?" Anjie asked in the tone same as Armaan's.. "Arre yar samjha karo.. Ridhhima ab uski biwi haina.. jab chahe romance kare kyun..?" Atul tried to get back.. but in vain..

"Haan to apni ko nahi to kya teri vaali ko pyar karunga.. aur zyada matt bol nai to kal subah ke D-Gang ke newspaper mein aaj raat ke Romeo-Juliet ka kissa chapaa milega tum dono ko.. " Armaan said threatening them..

"Abbe.. nahi yar.. vo log to jaan se maar denge sawaal pooch pooch ke.. mere dost.. mere bhai.. tu kitna achha hai.. aur.. aur hum to yahan mile hi nai.. nahi humne tujhe kitchen mein jaate dekha.. tu to ab tak so chuka hoga haina mere bhai.." Atul said buttering Armaan to not leak this sneaking scene to anyone nd signalled Anjie to leave before Armaan says anything else.. while Armaan was smiling to himself looking at AA's flushed faces..

Next morning at the dinning table.. Malliks, Guptas nd the D-Gang..

"Dad.. we'll be moving back to mumbai in the evening.. I have a meeting with Dr.Howard Johnson regarding a case.." Armaan said.. "Dr.Howard Johnson..? As in the best neurologist in the world..?" Anjie exclaimed nd Armaan nodded..

"I've requested him for his assistance in my new case anjie.. Its very critical.. a four yr. old girl suffering from neurosis.." Armaan explained..

"DOCTORS CAN NEVER OVERCOME THEIR MEDICINES ND CASES.. RIGHT..?" a voice said from the door way.. As soon as they turned all of them were shocked.. Arav ran to her nd hugged her exclaiming "meli girlfliend.." she took him in her arms nd said  "Hello my handsome prince.. see ur girlfriend has come all the way flying from L.A. just for you.."

 

WHO DO YOU GUYS THINK THIS NEW GIRL IS..?.. HOW IS SHE RELATED TO EVERYONE..? DON'T WORRY SHE IS NOT A NEGATIVE CHARACTER.. JUST SOMEONE WHO'LL BE PLAYING AN IMPORTANT ROLE IN THIS STORY FURHTER.. nd IF YOU FEEL THIS FF IS TOO SUGARY ND I SHOULD ADD IN SOME MASALA IN IT THEN PLZ ADD THAT IN YOUR COMMENT TOO..
