Part 20

Everyone reached near their cars.. to head towards the orphanage.. all of them were quiet.. "Armaan.. vo.. atul.." muski mumbled as they saw Atul drove his with car Anjie nd Steve without even looking at anyone.. "Don't worry.. he'll be fine.. main baat karunga usse.." Armaan said with a heavy heart nd all of them reached the Orphanage in a while..

 
First one to reach there were Atul, Anjie nd Steve.. followed by RM, Meggs, Ron nd Liz.. Anjali introduced all of them nd as the kids saw Rahul they just pounced onto him for an autograph.. Rahul smiled looking at them nd as he started with it he saw all the kids running past him.. He turned to find Armaan nd Ridhhima sitting on their knees hugging the kids nd kids were talking to them together..

"Achha achha.. bas.. ek ek karke.." as Armaan tried to get up from the ground kids again pulled him nd mounted onto him while afew kids who were standing around Ridhhima were laughing with her, smiling at her nd kissing her.. looking at this Armaan said to the kid kissing Ridhhima

"Oye flirting band kar.. ab yeh teri Ridhhima didi nahi Bhabhi hai.."

"BHABHI..?.." they all shouted..

"Haan bhabhi.." Armaan said proudly.. just then one kid said "Haan muskaan didi ne bataya to thha abhi.. ki Ridhhima didi ne shaadi karli.."

"dekha Ridhhima didi ne shaadi karli.. Agar aap pehle I love you bol dete to didi vo famous Rahul mallik ke bhai se nahi aapse shaadi karti.. Huh..!." the boy said making Ridhhima laugh..

"Arre nahi nahi.. main tumhare Armaan bhaiya se hi shaadi ki hai.. aur vo famous Rahul mallik ke bhai tumhare Armaan bhaiya hi hain.."

 

Looking at bua approaching from the temple Ridhhima ran nd hugged her.. she was surprised coz when the rest of the gang came that time bua was praying in the temple.. "Bua' kaisi hain aap.." Ridhhima asked still hugging her..

"Bilkul theek.. chal hatt dekhne to de kaisi hai meri Ridhhi.. Hmm.. itne saalon mein bilkul nahi badli.. aur 5 saal baad ab yaad aayi bua ki.. " bua said in mocking anger.. Armaan also came nd hugged her nd then they both bent down nd touched her feet.. "Arre wah.. aaj koi ladai nahi hui kya tum dono ki.." she got surprised seeing them together IN PEACE nd not fighting like cat nd dog like they used to when they used to visit there in their internship days..

"Umm.. nahi bua.. ab no fighting.." Armaan said..
"aur yeh chamatkaar kaise hua.. mujhe bhi batao.." bua said teasing them.. just as Ridhhima was about to speak Arav came nd tugged at her dupatta.. from all day's travelling nd change of weather (ie. Mumbai's heat nd lonavla's cold) he was tiered.. he looked Ridhhima nd put his arms up for her to lift him in her arms saying "mama.. neeni.."

Ridhhima picked him up nd bua was shocked.. "Ridhhi.. yeh tera beta hai..?.. tune shaadi karli..?. kab aur kiske saath..?.." she asked it all in one go..

"arre bua araam se.. ek ek karke.. haan yeh mera beta hai, ARAV.. maine Armaan se 5 saal pehle shaadi ki thhi aur phir hum uski Family ke pas london chale gaye issliye aapko batane ka mauka nahi mila.." AR explained all the past situation of Shashank being against their marriage nd them leaving with muskaan.. nd requested her to not say anything in front of Mr.Mallik..

"mamma.. yeh kaun hai.. aul yeh lo kyu lahi hai.." Arav asked Ridhhima looking at bua who got emotional when AR told her their love story in brief..

"Beta yeh mamma ki bua hain.. jab mamma choti thhi na tabse mamma ki best friend.." Ridhhima said explaining to her innocent son ever so innocently.. Arav looked at bua as if scanning her nd then bent forward to hug her.. "Mela naam Alav Mallit hai.. aap mamma ki talah meli bhi besht fliend banogi na bua.." listening to him Bua just hugged him nd blessed him.. she was speechless when she saw Arav.. his angelic features nd the innocence in his eyes was same as Ridhhima.. while his speaking style nd smile were Armaan's.. he was indeed a charmer.. moving ahead Ridhhima inroduced bua to Mallik Family nd D-Gang..

It was around 8:30pm all of them settled for Dinner.. the kids were already sleeping coz they had holiday next day nd have planned to play alot with AR.. Bua, Padma nd Ridhhima were in the kitchen bringing the food nd serving dinner..

"Ridhhi.. Arav kahan hai.." Bua asked Ridhhima, seeing Arav missing from the table.. "Bua vo thakk gaya thha isliye so gaya hai.. abhi jagaya to bohot irritate hojayega.. main usse khiladungi jab vo uthega.." Ridhhima said..

All had their dinner quietly.. Elders went to ther rooms early.. Ridhhima asked Anjali to meet her in the garden nd Armaan did the same to Atul.. They wanted to talk to Atul nd Anjali first before saying anything to anyone else.. they wanted to ask if AA really believe in what peer baba said..

 
After 15mins. Armaan saw Ridhhima sitting on the swing cladded in her shawl.. She had a sweet smile greaced on her lips.. her hair were tickling her as the wind blew through them.. She was looking happy coming here.. Armaan once again fell in love with her today.. all through the journey they fought like they used to in their courtship days, cuchi cooed too.. Even Ridhhima's dressing style was like the Ridhhima he fell in love with.. although the change in her didn't effect his love for her but still the journey nd the moments today brought many old memories back..

 
Armaan jerked back to reality when Atul came nd saw him gazing at Ridhhima with all the love.. Atul smiled sadly nd said "You're a lucky man.. Ridhhima loves you a lot.." Armaan smiled nd started taking him to the other corner as Anjali might come to meet Ridhhima anytime now..

"Haan yar.. vo to main hoon.. sirf kehne ke liye nahi, sach much mein vo meri Jaan hai.. aur vaise ladki to Anjali bhi buri nahi hai.. Shaadi ke baad vo bhi tujhse bohot pyaar karegi.." Armaan said changing his tone .. Atul was caught off guard nd said "Haan yaar.. achhi to hai.. lekin pata nahi shaadi hogi bhi ke nahi.." after he has said it he realised it nd looked at Armaan.. "nahi nahi.. don't be surprised.. mujhe aur Ridhhima ko bohot pehle se pata hai.. chal ab chup chaap bata how did it all start nd what do you think about opening ur relationship to her family.."

"yaar kaise hua pata nahi.. lekin I was attracted to her from the moment I first put my eyes on her.. After a while I realised this wasn't attraction but love so I finally proposed to her in a conversation at Kasauli.. bas phir kya.. jaise hi gaadi aage chalne lagi aaj peer baba ne usmein break laga diya.." Atul said in a sad tone.. Armaan felt bad to look at his friend like this.. "Yaar tu tension matt le.. aur jakar uski family se baat kar.. kya kami hai tujh mein.. dekhne mein achha hai.. pyar bhi karta hai.. Rich NRI hai.. Doctor bhi hai London ke best hospital mein.. mujhe nahi lagta ki koi problem hogi.. " Atul was deciding whether to say it or not.. he didn't wanted Armaan to be sad at all with his past memories but finally he said it.. "Burai to tujh mein bhi nahi thhi na Ammy.. phir tujhe Rids ke saath aise shaadi kyun karni padi.. tu bhi handsome hai.. rids se iss duniya mein sabse zyada pyaar karta hai.. rich hai.. achhi family hai aur doctor bhi hai.. to phir.."

Armaan was angry for a second but then realising Atul's distress he calmed down.. nd in a calmer tone said "dekh yar.. meri baat alag thhi.. main humesha Dr.Gupta ko pranks karte mila hoon.. jab maine Ridhhima se shaadi ki tab nahi unhe yeh pata thha ki meri family kaun hai nahi meri family ka status.. vo nahi chahte thhe ki unki beti unke under kaam karne waale, ek aise ladke se shaadi kare jise unhone kabhi serious nahi dekha.. I know he was wrong in his judgement..aur main unhe unki mujhe aur Ridhhima ko alag karne ki koshishon ke liye kabhi maaf nahi karunga.. but your case is different.." Armaan serious nd honest tone boosted Atul abit.. he thought of talking but then thought it would be better not to talk here.. "I think you're right.. vapas mumbai pohochke main Jai uncle ko sab sach batadunga.. kyunki meri taraf se aur koi to hai nahi jo Dr.Shashank se baat kare.." Armaan smiled nd chatted for some more time with Atul..

While the scene shifted to Ridhhima nd Anjali.. Ridhhima was sitting under a tree gazing at the sky.. remembering her nd Armaan's first dance here.. how handsome he was looking in that white kurta pajama.. how elegantly nd lightly he held her while dancing.. his deep blue eyes nd love in them was still entact in Ridhhima's memory.. she didn't knew when Anjali came nd sat beside her, observing her.. just as Ridhhima smiled at her sweet memory Anjali spoke "Armaan ke baare mein soch rahi hai na ridz.." Ridhhima smiled at Anjali nd nodded "Lonavla se judi purani yaadein tazaa kar rahi thhi.. pyar bhi kitna ajeeb hota hai na di.. kitni jaldi har zakhm bhar deta hai ki jaise kabhi dard hua hi na ho.. jab bhi aankhein band karke Armaan ke baare mein sochti hoon to humare differences ya hardships nahi balki uske pyaar hi yaad ata hai.."

"tujhe pata hai tu bohot lucky hai.. tujhe tera pehla pyar mil gaya.. I'm really happy for you.." Anjali said in a low tone.. Ridhhima smiled nd said "aap kyun upset ho rahi hain.. dekhna aapki bhi Atul bhaiya se hi shaadi hogi.. phir aapka bhi pehla pyar pura ho jayega.."

"Tujhe yeh sab kaise..?.. atul ne bataya..?." Anjali asked in a surprised tone..

"Nahi di.. mujhe apne aap hi pata chal gaya jab maine aap ko atul bhaiya ke liye pareshaan hote aur unki choti choti baaton pe blush karte dekha.." Ridhhima said in an earnest tone.. "lekin kya fayeda.. peer baba ki baat nahi suni tune.. hum kabhi saath nahi honge Ridz.. kabhi nahi.. mera pehla pyar kabhi mere saath nahi hoga.." Ridhhima hugged Anjali as a lone tear escaped her eyes..

"Nahi di.. aapne suna nahi.. baba ne kaha ki aapko ladna hoga apne pyar ke liye.. bas apne pyar par bharosa rakho di.. saari mushkil aasaan ho jayegi.."

Ridhhima unhugged her nd wiping anjie's tears she continued "pata hai di.. jab main Armaan ke saath ghar chodke gayi na to bohot royi thhi.. bohot bura laga ki jinn logon ne mujhe bachpan se itna pyar diya unhone ek baar roka bhi nahi.. unhone mere pyar ko samajhne ki koshish hi nahi ki.. aisa laga ki vo mere pyar ki nahi meri haar thhi.. mujhpar bharosa hota to mere pyar ko bhi apnate na sab.. lekin sabki nazaron mein main ek bachhi thhi jo akele koi bhi faisla theek nahi le sakti.. phir Armaan ne mujhe samjhaya ki mujhe guilty feel nahi karna chahiye.. kyunki maine koi galat kaam nahi kiya.. apne pyar ko anjaam diya thha bas.. mujhe apne pyar par khudse bhi zyada yakeen thha jo meri taqat tha.. mujhe pata thha ki humara pyar badi se badi musibat ka samna kar sakta hai.. aur dekho na aaj har khushi, har rishta hai mere paas.. aur mera Arav bhi.. jiske har muskurahat mera din khushi se bhar deti hai aur uski thodi bhi udaasi mujhe rula deti hai.." Anjali smiled looking at her happy nd contended sister..

"I wish meri bhi teri jaisi kismat ho.. lekin papa ko manana asaan nahi hoga.."

"negative matt socho di.. Atul bhaiya is a really nice man.. har quality to hai unmein.. I don't see any reason for Dr.Gupta to reject his proposal.." Ridhhima said but stopped when Anjali looked at her in a surprised way.. "Ridzie tu dad ko kabhi phirse papa nahi bulayegi.?. even now when he's not around, you're cold towards his thought too.." Ridhhima wanted to say so much about this but decided against it.. as she knew noone other than AR, Rahul, Padma nd Shashank knew what he did to Arav on Ridhhima's birthday.. She wanted to forget the moment as it had a terrible memory of seeing her son crying uncontrolablly nd scared to death.. so changing her tone she said "chodo na vo sab di.. ab aap kal se bilkul normal rahogi.. no more tension.. okk.. ab main chalti hoon.. Arav bhi akela hai room mein.. uth gaya to royega.. it's a new place for him na.. gudnite di.." Looking at Ridhhima departuring figure Anjie sighed..

 
Deep down all of them knew Ridhhima misses her family but she is strong now.. to keep her griefs to herself.. to bury them deep inside her heart.. but none of them knew all Ridhhima's griefs were known to Armaan.. the strong Ridhhima breaks down in his arms nd cry her heart out.. That's one thing they have in common.. none of them believes in sharing their anguish they just bury it deep under themselves nd then pour their hearts out infront of eachother.. that was the strength nd foundation of their relationship that has kept them going..

It was almost 4:30 am.. Ridhhima felt something on her stomach.. it wasn't armaan's arm around her waist, its not that heavy she thought.. ignoring it she again went to sleep.. afew minutes later she felt something really soft on her cheeks.. she smiled at the touch nd snuggled closer.. she woke up when she felt a wet touch on her forehead.. She saw Arav sitting on her stomach, wide awake with his legs on her either sides.. gently caressing her cheeks with his tiny palms nd trying to wake her up with a kiss on her forehead just like she does to him.. she felt bliss at his touch nd pulled him closer giving him a warm hug.. "kya hua baby.. why are you up so early..?" she asked in a sleepy voice..

"Mamma ninni nai aalahi.. aap mele shaath khelo na.." he said with that innocent expression.. "Arav.. abhi hum kya khelenge..? sab so rahe hain na.. aap yahan aao mama ninni karati hai.. aajao.." she said patting her side, trying to convince him.. "nai mamma.. ninni nai.. hum bahal chalein peesh.." arav said whining cutely.. "achha chalo.. lekin pehle aap apne shoes aur jacket pehnoge okk.. varna thandi lag jayegi.." as he nodded obidiently she got up to make him wear his warmers nd wear one herself too.. she picked up her handy cam nd Arav got his favourite remote car..

 
They moved out to the huge garden.. it was so beautiful.. Sun has just reached up.. flowers were looking fresh nd lovely.. the atmosphere nd sight before them was just so pleasant.. Arav placed his car on the grass nd started running behind it as his remote guided it forward.. Ridhhima smiled nd made his video..she clicked his many pictures.. when he was checking his car frowning abit.. touching a flower gently.. smiling at her with his ever so charming smile.. Ridhhima saw a Rainbow too.. it was normal there.. rainbows can be seen easily anyday.. she picked up Arav nd sat on the swing with him.. his giggles nd squeals were relishing her.. he would laugh when ever she pushes the swing hard with her feet.. "Pata hai Arav.. mamma jab aapke jitni thhi na tabse yahan aati thhi.. mamma yahan bohot masti karti thhi bua ke saath.." hearing his mother he smiled.. "chalo mamma aapko apne friends se milvati hai.." she picked him in her arms nd kissed him sloppily making him giggle loudly..  

 
Hearing the giggles Padma looked out of her room window to find Ridhhima nd Arav giggling nd laughing.. she reached the garden to talk but they were no more in sight.. Ridhhima took Arav to a small area at the backside of the orphanage.. it had a small pond which had many beautiful fishes too.. a Rabbit cage which had around 20-25 rabbits.. Arav looked at them gleefully as the rabbits hopped.. there was the guard, Vishnu kaka taking care of them.. giving them carrots nd cabbage..

"Kaisi ho beti.. yeh tumhara beta haina.. bilkul tum jaisa dikhta hai.." he said smiling at the amused duo.. "main theek hoon kaka.. aap kaise hain.." Ridhhima asked in her sweet tone.. "bilkul theek.. dekho tumhare sabse pyare dost abhi bhi vaise hi hain.. shaitaan.." he said giving one of the rabbit in her hands.. she carefully stroked it, gently nd not hurting it..

"mamma main bhi.." Arav said excitedly..

Ridhhima made him sit in her lap nd then placed the rabbit in his lap.. he looked so happy.. he hesitantly stroked the rabbit at first but when the rabbit didn't harm him, he started playing nd hopping around with them.. chasing them.. feeding them with carrots nd cabbages.. Ridhhima used to spend hours sitting by the pond looking at the fishes nd playing with the rabbits.. truly the child in her has still not grown up.. she again lost track on time.. she sat there playing with Arav.. talking to him, teaching him.. re-living every moment of her childhood she had in Lonavla..

 

It was 8 am by now.. everyone was awake.. not finding Arav nd Ridhhima by his side Armaan was worried.. he quickly got ready nd went down to find everyone else at the breakfast table..

"Dad.. Ridhhima aur Arav kahan hain.." Armaan asked Mr.Mallik..
"how would I know son.. I saw her last at the dinner table.. whats wrong..?" Mr.Mallik asked looking at tensed Armaan.. before Anyone could say anything Padma said "Beta maine unn dono ko 5 baje ke kareeb garden mein dekha thha.. lekin jab tak main bahar aayi tab tak vo dono vahan nahi thhe.. ho sakta hai kahin ghumne gaye hoon..pareshaan matt ho kyunki vo dono bohot khush lag rahe thhe.." she tried calming Armaan but he was still worried..

"Bro.. ask the security man.. he would have seen them going out if they've gone somewhere.." Ron suggested.. when muskaan interrupted "Oye khotte.. phone kyun nahi karta usse.." listening to her Armaan quickly took Mr.Mallik's phone from the table nd dialed her number..

"Ridhhima.. where are you.. are you okk.. is Arav fine.. where have you guys gone so early in the morning.." he blasted her with questions as soon as she picked up the call.. listening to her voice he calmed down.. "Armaan.. I'm fine.. I'm at the backside of the orphanage.. we're both are fine here.. wait we'll be back in 5mins. okk.." Putting the call off he stood there with his eyes stuck at the door to the dinning room.. "Armaan.. where are they..?" Mr.Mallik asked as Armaan still had worried expressions on his face.. "she said they'll be back in 5mins'" he said glancing at his watch impatiently..

 
As soon as he saw Ridhhima entering the room with Arav in her arms he practically ran nd hugged her tight.. Looking at others questioning eyes she knew Armaan must have been worried.. he was sobbing.. she could feel it.. she quickly unhugged him nd put Arav on the ground who ran to Muskaan.. she looked at his tears nd felt guilty.. "Armaan.. I'm fine.. tum please ro matt.. I'm sorry main bina bole chali gayi thhi.. but then you were sleeping so peacefully that I didn't wake you up.." Armaan again got her into a hug nd said "main bohot darr gaya thha Ridhhima.. subah sabse pehle tumhe nahi dekhta to ajeeb sa lagta hai.. I feel Incomplete without you.. tumhe kuch ho jata to main bhi nahi jee pata Jaan.. I Love You.." Ridhhima kicked herself mentally for making him sad early in the morning.. "Nahi Armaan aisa nahi bolte.. tumhe kuch nahi hoga coz see I'm here.. perfectly fine.. right in front of you.." listening to her made Armaan smile abit..

 
As they sat Shashank for the very first time felt good about Armaan.. he has seen the worry in Armaan's eyes for his daughter.. the Love nd serenity in Armaan's voice was visible enough to know that whatever he was saying was true.. Shashank cursed himself a hundredth time for finishing every possibility to get his Ridhhima back.. way to his own daughter's heart.. her trust.. her husband's trust nd respect nd lastly hurting her son.. deep down he knew he has done it abit too much to get her forgiveness but still he wished to have his daughter back some day..

After a while as Ridhhima nd Arav came dressed in for the breakfast he saw his old Ridhhima as she wore a Red Colour suit.. Armaan was wearing his white shirt with a white jacket.. just like this one:

nd he was just staring at her.. as she sat besides him on the table he whispered "Hmm.. sauce vala lal.. You're looking gorgeous, my love.. Aaj ek dum vahi Ridhhima lag rahi ho jiski saadgi se mujhe pyaar ho gaya thha.. Although you look sexy in westerns too but this is still my favourite way to see you dressed in.." She just blushed at his flirty comment nd both AR got embarrassed when Arav muttered "Shekshy.." coz that was all he could pick up that quickly from their convo.. Armaan quickly put his hand on Arav's mouth but it was too late everyone around was looking at AR.. while bua came to their rescue from the kitchen with the breakfast nd AR sighed relief.. Shashank noticed their relaxed expressions at their narrow escape nd Ridhhima giving Armaan a deadly look as to teaching Arav those words nd Armaan making a cute puppy face saying sorry.. as they were having their food Arav was telling Armaan nd Mr.Mallik about his experience in the morning..

"Daadu.. bahal bohot shaare flower hai.. ek shwing bhi hai.. aul na vahan bohot shaari fiches aul Labbits bhi thhe.. main aul mamma unke saath bohot khele.. ab vo mele bhi flends hain.. vo na bohot achhe hain.. chote chote.. aul bhaagte hain.." he was explaining with actions nd giggling while telling about a mischief like Mr.Mallik knew nothing about Rabbits.. nd Ridhhima kissed Arav after his sweet nd enthusiastic explaination..She connected her handy cam to the TV kept there nd showed them Arav's video of playing with his car nd then hopping around with Rabbits.. Armaan was really amazed to see the excitement Arav had on his face while holding the rabbit nd patting it.. He also cuddled Arav nd gave him a sloppy kiss making him giggle.. "Hmm.. to aaj bohot masti ki aapne haina.. chalo hum na breakfast ke baad phir se chalenge vahan.. aur phir aur bhi games khelenge okk.." Arav nodded happily nd finished his breakfast so that he can go with his father to play again..

"Papa.. mamma kahan hai.." Arav asked Armaan while they were playing with Arav's building blocks.. "Beta mamma subah thak gayi thhi isiliye ninni kar rahi hai.. aap papa ke saath khelo okk.." Armaan said patting Arav's head lightly..

they've been playing with the blocks nd other stuff for an hour now nd Arav was getting bored.. "Papa.. hum Labbits ke paash chale.. peesh.." Arav asked making a baby face which neither Armaan nor Ridhhima could say NO to.. So next moment Arav was sitting on Armaan's shoulders riding to the pond nd the rabbit cage.. As they moved out they saw Mr.Mallik, Shashank, Padma, Bua, Anjie nd Ron sitting on the grass nd chatting.. as they approached Arav almost shouted out of joy from Armaan;s shoulder to Mr.Mallik.. "Daadu.. hum labbits ke paash ja lahe hai.." Mr.Mallik smiled at his happy face as Armaan walked away with him..

"Aaj to yahan ke rabbits thak hi jayenge khelte khelte.." Mr.Mallik mocked..

"Ridhhima ke bhi vo sabse pyare dost hua karte thhe.. jab bhi yahan aati thhi to ghanton vahi baitha karti thhi.. aur Arav to bilkul Ridhhima jaisa hai.." Bua said

"Nahi nahi behenji.. Arav sirf dikhne mein Ridhhima jaisa hai.. uski shaitaaniyaan Armaan ki tarah hain.. humesha pehle koi gadbad karega phir itne pyar se sorry bolega ki koi chahke bhi na dant paye.. Ridhhima ko hi dekh lijiye.. kitna gussa ataa hai usse.. lekin usne Arav to tab bhi pyarse samjhaya jab usne Ridhhima ki saari project presentation delete kar diye thhe uske laptop mein se.. aur uss bechari ne saari raat baith kar dobara kaam kiya.. " Jai explained..

"But uncle ammy isn't that bad too.. he takes good care of your lil prince nd RD.. remember how he sat besides RD for 3days not moving an inch when she had fever.. I had never seen Ammy caring for anyone like he cares for RD.." Ron said..

"Seems like I'm the centre of discussion right now.. huh..?" Ridhhima came from behind nd spoke as she heard Ron saying last line..

"No.. actually it was Arav first then Armaan nd then we shifted on to you.."

Ron said giggling.. "Don't worry Ridz.. teri burai nahi kar rahe thhe.." Anjie said teasing.. "Achha bachon yahan ghumne ki koi jagah hai kya..?.." Mr.Mallik enquired.. "Papa.. waise to yeh yahan ki sabse khubsoorat jagah hai.. lekin yahan paas mein ek park bhi hai.. but it wasn't considered safe when we guyz used to visit before.." Ridhhima said..

"Oh comeon beta.. it was 5yrs. back.. chalo lets go for a walk.."

"Papa.. Armaan aur Arav kahan hain.. Armaan ko bol doon varna subah ki tarah pareshaan hoga.." Ridhhima said nd informing Armaan she moved ahead with Mr.Mallik while Padma nd Shashank followed the duo.. It was 6:30 when they went for the walk nd now it was around 7:30.. the sun has started to go down nd it was getting darker.. just as they were about to move out of the park two goons blocked their way.. Shashank nd Mr.Mallik pushed Padma nd Ridhhima behind them.. "chal be.. jo maal hai sab nikaal jaldi.." the goon said to Shashank pointing his knife at him.. "Dekhiye bhai saab.." Shashank treid to talk but was cut in between "kyun be budhhe suna nahi kya.." goon again abused this time nd pushed Jai Mallik a little.. it was enough for Ridhhima to get angry..

"Badoon se baat karne ki tameez nahi hai tumhe.." she said blazing in anger.. the man looked at her from top to bottom.. moving closer to her he held her hand nd said "Nahi hai.. tu sikha dena.. pyaar se.." he said moving closer to her..

"haath chodo mera.." she said in an angry voice again.. Mr.Mallik nd Shashank tried but in vain as the other might hurt Ridhhima they thought.. Next moment Ridhhima kicked him hard in his stomach.. he moaned as she again kicked the other one.. It was a surprise for them.. they were caught off guard.. she kicked them both out of anger thrice.. "Agli baar kisi bhi ladki se tameez se baat karna.. samjhe.." Shashank was shocked at this discovery while Mr.Malik hugged her.. Padma just kept mum seeing her strong daughter proudly..

 

"Really Beta.. you should have seen his face.." Jai Mallik said to Rahul as they all were seated in a circle.. everyone was there accept AA..

when Armaan said disgruntedly "Haan isiliye to self-defence ki training di thhi maine.. taaki har jagah superwomen banti phire.. sach mein kuch ho jata to.. lekin yahan kisse chinta hai.." 

"Armaan.. so what else do you expect me to do.. stand there nd looking at the man who was disrespecting papa.. he could have hurt us.. main nahi dekh sakti apni family ko hurt hote.." Ridhhima said in a determined voice.. Shashank looked up at her to see her hugging Jai Mallik.. he realised Ridhhima got angry nd fought for Mr.Mallik nd not for him..

 

He had seen a completely different side of Ridhhima in last few days.. he has seen her being more nd more confident in her life nd possessive about Malliks.. He was happy when he saw her playing kiddishly with Arav.. taking care of Rahul nd Armaan.. he saw Armaan's care for Ridhhima nd Arav even on their way to Lonavla coz of the ice cream incident.. he felt his soul cursing him when he saw Armaan worried this morning nd cribbing now when he heard about the park's incident.. voh sach mein pyaar aur fikr thhi ya ek aur dikhava..? he thought..He again recollected how Armaan would get lost in his thoughts by just a sight of Ridhhima.. Nahi shayad vo sach mein pyar karta hai Ridhhima se.. he told himself he craved so much to have Arav in his arms playing with him like he used to play with Jai Mallik.. he wanted it so badly.. he cried silently when he saw Mr.Mallik giving Arav a ride on his back while Ridhhima was asking Arav to get down nd not trouble his daadu.. He tried hard to talk to Ridhhima when they were at the park but just couldn't manage.. he was scared thinking what if she rejects him now.. the realisation was now shattering his heart into a thousand pieces.. Maine kho diya usse.. he thought.. he was so lost in his thinking that he didn't realise when he left the place.. but it didn't get unnoticed by Ridhhima.. she saw those tears brimming in his eyes.. she thought of talking to him but then her gaze fell on Armaan nd Arav.. the two most important people she has right now nd decided against it making herself strong again..
