Zeeshan Khan on Naagin 6: We are heading for the stars and beyond; it is only the beginning

Zeeshan Khan has joined one of the most popular TV shows by Ekta Kapoor, Naagin 6. The actor will be seen playing the negative lead in the show. The Colors show does enjoy a set fan following and currently features the likes of Tejasswi Prakash, Simba Nagpal, among others.

India Forums got talking to Zeeshan and spoke to him about bagging the show, working with the team, and the kind of work he wishes for himself.

You mentioned how this is the big moment you've waited for and everything is working out. Does it feel surreal?

Yes, it is like a dream come true. All the struggles, all the hard work, all the sweat that I have put into my craft, into whatever I did, I have given my 100% and more, pushed myself, do up to my limit and beyond has paid off. I always knew that whatever I am going through, allah is watching and he would always make things better, and whatever he is putting me through is to make me a better person, I just have to keep at it and he will favour me when the time is right. I am really glad for everything he has put me through and it made me a better person, and I am glad I got everyone's love.

How has it been working with Tejasswi and the entire Naagin 6 team? 

It has been amazing, everyone, Tejasswi, Simba, Mehak, Sudhaji, they are all really positive and they keep a very happy environment on set and that really helps a lot. Also, they are very welcoming and I don't have to feel nervous as to how am I doing and everyone tells me, 'let's do it like this', they motivate you, they push you, they help you make the scenes better and I am glad I am working with them. They are really nice people.

Going forward, what is the kind of work you want to do and where do you see things heading for yourself ahead?

Like I said, I am an entertainer and I would do anything and everything to entertain my audience, because at the end of the day, it is their love that has made me the person I am. Whatever I do for them, whoever I am, it is because of their love, and hence, I would do anything that I think would keep them entertained, and bring a smile to their face. We are heading for the stars and beyond, it is only the beginning, 'picture abhi baaki hai mere dost'.
