Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Ruhi and Sanjay's pressure leads Kaveri to force prenup on Abhira

In tonight's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai episode, Vidya requests Armaan to join a video call to help her choose a brooch. Armaan, preoccupied with a client, declines. Turning to Abhira, Vidya asks for assistance in selecting her head accessories. Abhira, already engaged in a conversation with Awasthi, is hesitant to participate.

Awasthi, sensing her distraction, questions Abhira's ability to manage his legal case effectively. Despite Vidya's insistence, Abhira prioritises her hearing and ignores Vidya's call, sparking Vidya's frustration. Abhira attempts to explain her situation to Vidya, who remains upset, further straining their relationship. Awasthi, observing the tension, doubts Abhira's capability to balance her professional responsibilities and presses her to clarify her commitment to his case, threatening to seek another lawyer if she cannot.

Abhira upsets Vidya:

The situation escalates when Abhira, stressed by Vidya's anger, speaks harshly to her. Vidya, hurt by Abhira's tone, expresses her displeasure to Kajal and Manisha, who inquire about the ignored calls. Vidya explains that Abhira is too preoccupied with her professional commitments to focus on the wedding preparations. Ruhi adds fuel to the fire by sarcastically remarking on Abhira's behaviour, which leads to a confrontation where Abhira dismisses Ruhi's interference and rejects the detox water offered by her. Mrs. Singh then approaches Abhira with a request to draft a prenuptial agreement for her daughter-in-law, implying distrust. Abhira, offended by the suggestion, declines to take on the case. Ruhi, overhearing the exchange between Abhira and Mrs. Singh, starts plotting.

Meanwhile, Manisha, Armaan, and Kajal interrupt Vidya during her prayer time, attempting to reason with her. They explain that Abhira's busy schedule is the reason behind her ignoring Vidya's calls. Manisha expresses her intent to support Abhira's career, but Vidya, still angry, refuses to discuss anything related to Abhira.

Sanjay plots Kaveri against Abhira:

Abhira, distressed by Vidya's reaction, confides in Armaan about her concerns. She reveals the details of the prenuptial case to Armaan, who advises her to reconsider taking it. After some thought, Abhira agrees to handle the case on the condition that Singh includes a clause ensuring the bride's financial security in case of marital issues. Armaan commends Abhira's decision, and the two share a moment of intimacy. 

Meanwhile, Ruhi brings coffee to the stressed Sanjay, who expresses his gratitude for both the drink and her efforts. She then hands over a file that had been given to her by the staff. Ruhi casually mentions that the file includes documents related to Armaan and Abhira’s marriage contract. Upon hearing this, Sanjay is visibly shocked and spills his coffee, vehemently denying any involvement. Ruhi offers him water and apologizes, explaining that she assumed the documents, which had Abhira’s name on them, were prepared by either him or Kaveri.

Ruhi subtly plants the idea in Sanjay’s mind that a prenuptial agreement might be necessary to safeguard the family’s assets in case of future issues between Armaan and Abhira. She doesn’t state her concerns directly but instead suggests that since Abhira is very ambitious, it’s prudent to have measures in place in case any issues arise between Armaan and Abhira. She hints that if they were to part ways, a prenuptial agreement would help protect the family’s property and assets. She mentions that in many cases, one party might try to claim everything, but reassures Sanjay that she believes Abhira would not act that way. Ruhi emphasizes that everyone, including him and Daadisa, trusts Abhira  Her comments leave Sanjay pondering the possibility and set the stage for further intrigue as she moves on to discuss the matter with Kaveri.

Later, Abhira spends some quality time with Madhav, discussing her new case and the challenges it presents. Unbeknownst to her, Sanjay, swayed by Ruhi's manipulation, asks Kaveri to get Abhira's signature on the prenuptial contract, convinced that Abhira could become a problem for Armaan in the future. The episode concludes with Sanjay's growing mistrust, setting the stage for more drama.
