Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Madhav hides that Abhira's divorce with Armaan is pending

In tonight's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai episode, Sanjay urges the college head to continue with the function. The head, however, opts to wait until Abhira (Samridhii Shukla) receives her certificate. Sanjay argues that the entire college shouldn't have to wait for Abhira. Eventually, the head calls Abhira to the stage to receive her certificate and asks Armaan (Rohit Purohit) to present it to her. Sanjay immediately informs Kaveri that Armaan is hosting Abhira's convocation ceremony, which angers Kaveri and Vidya. In contrast, Manoj, Manisha, Krish, and Aryan are pleased.

On stage, Armaan commends Abhira and expresses regret for his past behaviour towards her, issuing a heartfelt apology. Meanwhile, other students start targeting Abhira, accusing her of marrying Armaan for his money and questioning their relationship. Armaan stands up for Abhira, but she accuses him of ruining her special day. Armaan pleads with Abhira to hear him out. At this point, Madhav arrests Armaan for troubling Abhira. Vidya then asks Sanjay to help bail Armaan out, but Kaveri prevents Sanjay from intervening. Vidya questions Kaveri's ability to see Armaan in jail, to which Kaveri responds that it's necessary to be strict with him. Vidya blames Abhira, but Manisha defends her, leading to a confrontation with Vidya.

Ruhi visits the Poddar mansion:

In jail, Armaan questions Madhav about his arrest and pleads to be released, stating he chooses Abhira over his family. Madhav refuses to listen and instructs the constable to file charges against Armaan. Kajal questions Madhav about not revealing that Abhira and Armaan are still married, to which Madhav responds that he is trying to protect Abhira and avoid a fate similar to his own. Kajal urges him to consider Kaveri's feelings.

Elsewhere, Krish informs Abhira about Armaan's arrest. Manish and Ruhi visit the Poddar house, with Ruhi collecting her belongings. Abhira pleads with Madhav to release Armaan, but he remains firm. Determined, Abhira decides to bail Armaan out. Vidya apologises to Ruhi, who in turn blames Abhira for her predicament. Charu asks Ruhi to assist Armaan, and she agrees to visit him.
