Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Armaan sends love lanterns to Abhira, hoping that she will reciprocate one day

Tonight's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai episode begins with Abhira (Samridhii Shukla) urgently removing a knife from Armaan's (Rohit Purohit) wound, causing him to scream. She swiftly ties a cloth around his injury while Manisha tries to call her. Abhira, focused on Armaan's condition, ignores the call. Meanwhile, Vidya anxiously waits, and Manisha suspects something might be wrong. Abhira, desperate to get Armaan medical help, attempts to contact Dr. Joshi, but he regrets he can't come due to a hospital emergency. Determined, Abhira follows his instructions to stabilise Armaan.

Despite the danger outside their home, Abhira manages to care for Armaan, cutting away his shirt to dress his wound. Amidst the tender moment, Armaan expresses his enduring love for Abhira, who remains devoted to his care. Later, Manisha calls to check on them, reassured that Abhira is managing the situation.

Dadi criticises Vidya:

Abhira and Armaan fall asleep in each other's arms. Madhav arrives home and finds them together. Upon waking, Madhav questions Armaan, concerned if he was caught up in the unrest. Armaan responds with self-deprecation, suggesting Madhav might wish he hadn't survived. Madhav reassures him and offers to take him to the doctor and fetch a shirt, but Armaan declines, instead asking Abhira to help him into his coat. Despite Madhav's concern for his health, Armaan announces his intention to leave. Without holding Abhira, he recalls her earlier words. He expresses his unwavering commitment, promising to wait patiently for her acceptance of his love. Each day, he vows to symbolise his affection with a love lantern, hoping she will eventually reciprocate. Urging her to take her time in making a decision, he assures her there is no rush. After sharing these heartfelt sentiments, he departs, 

Dadi asserts that it's Armaan and Abhira's choice not to return home. Vidya reminds her of the underlying reasons. Dadi labels them stubborn. Vidya questions whether she should wait for her son and husband to return. Dadi expresses regret, criticising Vidya as a weak mother and wife who couldn't handle the situation, especially after learning about Ruhi and Armaan's love. She recalls Ruhi's revelation and accuses Vidya of hiding the truth, acknowledging Armaan's sacrifice but also mentioning Rohit's betrayal.

Dadi challenges Vidya:

Vidya defends Abhira, stating that Armaan is happy with her. Dadi challenges Vidya about accepting Abhira into the family. Meanwhile, Armaan meets his cousins at a cafe, urging them not to discuss his injury. Charu expresses concern for everyone missing him and asks if he wouldn't return without Abhira. Krish playfully suggests calling Abhira "Bhabhi" already. Kiara advises Armaan to think carefully. Abhira, remaining steadfast in her love, expresses hope that Abhira will come to him eventually. Krish affectionately tags their bond as "true love."

As Armaan prepares to leave, Krish gives him a lantern and wishes him luck, prompting a warm hug from everyone. Armaan leaves with a smile, buoyed by the support and affection of his cousins.
