Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Kaveri vows to help Abhira fit into the family

In tonight's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai episode, Vidya requests Abhira (Samridhii Shukla) to inscribe Armaan's (Rohit Purohit) name on a leaf as an invitation for God to bless their wedding. Abhira apologises to Vidya for the earlier drama, and Vidya chooses to honour Abhira's decision. 

However, Kaveri confronts Abhira, questioning how she plans to fulfil her role as a good daughter-in-law. She challenges Abhira about arguing in front of the guests, but Abhira stands by her choices. Kaveri then questions whether Abhira is capable of keeping the family united and entrusts her with the responsibilities that come with being Armaan's wife.

Armaan comforts Abhira:

Later, Kajal and Manisha encourage Abhira to try on a ring, but Abhira hesitates, worried about its high cost. Manisha reassures her not to worry about the price, so Abhira reluctantly tries it on. Kajal remarks that just as the ring fits, Abhira should also fit into the family, causing Abhira to grow anxious. Manisha further mentions that Abhira will be adorned with ornaments, which only heightens her worry, especially when Manisha insists that Abhira safeguard Armaan's ring. Kaveri notices Abhira's unease and believes she is weakening, deciding that Abhira needs to step up and fit into the family, offering to assist her.

Abhira remains anxious, especially when Armaan confronts her about not informing him of the name-changing condition. She tries to avoid discussing it with him and asks him to keep his ring instead. Armaan encourages her to hold onto the ring safely, making her even more nervous, particularly after learning the ring is worth crores. She worries that if anything happens to the ring, she will lose the trust of Armaan, Vidya, and Kaveri. 

Abhira decides to stay up all night:

Despite her growing anxiety, Armaan tries to reassure her, and the two share a romantic moment, with Abhira resolving to keep the ring safe for just one night, thinking it will be easy. They both look forward to their engagement, while Ruhi (Garvita Sadhwani), feeling that Anupama has spoiled everything, plots to create more trouble for Abhira. She decides to bide her time, hoping to cause further chaos later, while Rohit (Romit Raj) commends Abhira. Ruhi criticises Abhira for not following Kaveri's order to change her name, revealing her regressive mindset, which Rohit questions, realising that he is an admirer of Abhira.

Meanwhile, Abhira is determined to protect the expensive ring. However, two thieves set their sights on stealing it. Abhira, feeling uneasy, decides to stay up all night to guard the ring, eventually hiding it in a rice container. The thought of the ring's immense value continues to make her restless.
