Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Arman chooses Abhira over Kaveri, leading to Kaveri's departure

In tonight's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai episode, Kaveri is awakened by music and notices Abhira (Samridhii Shukla) and Armaan (Rohit Purohit). Abhira and Armaan return to the Poddar house with a Baarat, and Kaveri is shocked to see this. She claps angrily, while Armaan declares that from now on, every day will be a good day as he and Abhira are still married, and from now on, she will live in the house and no one can take this right from her. Armaan says they will welcome Abhira into the house with full respect. 

Kaveri continues to joke about Armaan's sense of humour. Armaan questions Kaveri's amusement, and Kaveri calls for Sanjay, who brings some papers. She reveals that Armaan and Abhira's divorce is finalised and declares their marriage is over. 

Madhav claims Sanjay has fake documents, but Sanjay insists they are genuine. Madhav reveals Sanjay's attempt to hide his accident to avoid Kaveri's wrath. Sanjay defends his actions as family-oriented. Madhav attempts to strike Sanjay, but Armaan intervenes, supporting Sanjay's decision to finalise the divorce. Armaan announces his intention to remarry Abhira. Kaveri decides to leave, unable to witness their wedding. Armaan tries to persuade Kaveri to accept Abhira, but Kaveri is furious with Armaan's choice. She asserts that Armaan belongs with Abhira. 

Kaveri's demand shocks Armaan:

Abhira stands up for Armaan against Kaveri, who tells Abhira to stay out of it. Armaan reassures Abhira that Kaveri can say anything to him. Abhira defends Armaan, highlighting his inability to stand up for himself.

Abhira explains that Kaveri resents Armaan for loving her. She emphasises the strong bond between Armaan and Kaveri and Armaan's family devotion. She notes that Vidya accepted Armaan unconditionally, whereas Kaveri's love comes with conditions. Kaveri refuses to accept Armaan, accusing him of exploiting the Poddars. Armaan denies the accusation, and Kaveri challenges him to prove his love.

Kaveri forces Armaan to choose between her and Abhira. Armaan is in a dilemma and chooses to hold Abhira's hand tightly. Kaveri says she has got her answer and goes into her room to pack her bags to leave. Everyone outside the room tries to stop her, while Armaan cries outside the house. Abhira consoles him, saying they need to stop Dadisa. While leaving, Kaveri angrily tells Sanjay how he made fake papers and didn't tell her about it. Abhira comforts Armaan, who fears losing his family's love. Armaan affirms that only Abhira truly loves him and begs her not to leave.
