Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Akshara and Abhimanyu reflect on the memories of past

The episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai tonight commences with the grand unveiling of an idol. Manjiri is quick to point out that the elephant's trunk should be on the left side. Abhi affirms her observation, mentioning that it was indeed on the left. Surekha, curious about Abhi's knowledge, inquires how he knew this. Akshu reveals that she had sent him a picture for reference. Manjiri presses further, asking who was responsible for this mistake. Abhi speculates that it might have been the staff's error. Meanwhile, Kairav intervenes and halts Muskaan. Dadi is concerned about how to proceed with the idol.

Manjiri expresses her worries, prompting Manish to suggest buying a new idol. However, Manjiri insists that Akshara should make it. Akshu confidently agrees, but Surekha is concerned about the drying time and when they can perform the puja. Dadi realizes that this setback will disrupt their rituals and marriage plans. Aarohi suggests seeking a solution from Guru Ji, and Abhir confesses to being responsible for the mishap.

In a flashback, Ruhi and Abhir are shown going to see the idol, with Abhir accidentally damaging it. The kids apologize and implore them not to cancel the marriage. Abhi assures them that they will find a solution. Suwarna apologizes to Bappa and decides to perform the visarjan (immersion) of the damaged idol and create a new one.

Akshu gathers some betel leaves, with Abhi assisting her in crafting a new idol of Bappa from the leaves. The family members express their admiration for the remarkable Ganpati idol. They proceed with the puja, with Akshu and Abhi performing the aarti. Manjiri arranges accommodations for Mama ji and Mami ji, and Aarohi advises Manjiri to relax. During a conversation, Manjiri and Mahima share information about their cousin Sujeet, who has just arrived with his wife after a long absence.

Sujeet expresses his pride in Shefali's achievements and acknowledges Aarohi's strength and her ability to find happiness in her sister's joy. Manjiri suggests they take some rest. She then takes Abhi aside to have a private conversation. However, when Abhi enters the room, he mistakenly thinks Akshu is sleeping and tells her that he loves her. They both realize the mix-up and laugh it off, sharing a sweet moment.

Akshu gets ready, and Abhi prepares his bike for their trip to the temple. Due to road construction on the usual route, they decide to take the bike instead. As they arrive at the temple, they witness a couple getting married and reminisce about their own past moments. The priest blesses them and asks them to adorn the idol as part of a ritual. Akshu makes a promise not to take their relationship for granted, and Abhi emphasizes the importance of supporting each other, sharing their problems, and dividing their responsibilities.

After the temple visit, they have a heartwarming conversation and recall their past moments, sharing an "Oye" in unison. While waiting at a traffic signal, a couple in another car plays a romantic song, triggering memories for Abhi and causing him to reflect on his feelings for Akshu. He hopes to never disappoint her. On the other hand, Akshu is determined to try her best but admits to having a fear of making mistakes.
