The episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai tonight commences with Aarohi showing concern for Akshu's well-being, urging her to have some water after going without food for four hours. Akshu, bewildered, inquires about her condition. Muskaan, sensing something amiss, asks if Akshu is okay. Meanwhile, Abhi opens a mail, unaware of its contents. Aarohi advises Akshu to rest and not leave her room. However, Akshu is insistent on knowing what's happening, as she has been experiencing frequent dizziness. Aarohi eventually reveals the truth, stating that Akshu is not ill but pregnant. Akshu is taken aback by the revelation. Meanwhile, Abhi notices the mail's content and questions Rohan about it, realizing it pertains to another patient. He decides to check on Akshu.

Akshu reminisces about celebrating Abhinav's birthday. They share a romantic moment, but Akshu eventually breaks away. Abhi arrives to see Akshu, and Aarohi emphasizes the need to keep her pregnancy a secret until after the wedding. Abhi's concern for Akshu prompts him to call out to her. Aarohi tries to divert his attention, even splashing water on Akshu's face to maintain the secrecy. Abhi enters the room and discovers Akshu holding her stomach, surrounded by concerned family members.

The family worries about Akshu's health, with Suwarna blaming herself for not paying enough attention. Aarohi continues to stress the importance of keeping the pregnancy hidden. However, Abhi eventually learns the truth and is shocked. His family questions why they kept it a secret. Aarohi takes responsibility and justifies her actions to protect Akshu from judgment. The family discusses the situation, and Dadi urges them to proceed with the wedding to avoid any shame for Akshu. Abhi and Akshu, however, decide to postpone the wedding due to Akshu's condition.
