Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Abhimanyu leaves the Birla house, to get married to Akshara in a court

The episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai tonight begins with Akshu, deep in thought, recalling the words of those around her. The nurse asks if she has filled out the necessary form, but Akshu drops the pen. Meanwhile, Abhi is contemplating a conversation with Akshu and decides to call her. The doctor then intervenes, advising Akshu that she's taking a significant step and should have someone with her. Abhi, worried about Akshu's stress, prays for her well-being.

The doctor questions Akshu about her decision and warns her that many women change their minds once they arrive at the clinic. Akshu eventually signs the necessary papers, apologising to her unborn child, explaining that she is doing this to protect Abhir. Unbeknownst to Akhi, Abhi's doctor realizes the situation and tries to inform him about Akshu's decision. In the midst of the chaos, Akshu's procedure begins.

As Akshu cries, a man stops Abhi and confronts him. Desperate to reach Akshu, Abhi pleads with the man to release him. Ultimately, Abhi escapes and rushes to Akshu, all the while recalling their recent exchange.

At the Birla hospital, Manish is anxious and prays for Akshu's well-being. Muskaan tries to reassure him, stating that Akshu is strong and will be fine. Abhi finally arrives with Akshu, and Manish asks if the abortion was performed. Akshu shakes her head, and they all smile. Flashback scenes reveal Abhi's emotional encounter with Akshu at the clinic, where he initially scolded her but later supported her decision not to go through with the abortion.

The family members express their gratitude to Akshu, and Aarohi, Akshu's friend, embraces her. However, as the family discusses the incident, Manjiri notices a cracked picture frame of Abhi and Akshu. Abhi reveals the truth about Akshu's abortion decision, leading to a heated argument between them.

The next morning, Manjiri attempts to mend the broken frame, while Abhi prepares to leave the house to fulfill his family's wishes. He mentions that they only realize the value of something once it's broken, emphasizing the importance of fixing relationships. Abhi leaves to reduce the stress on his son Abhir and Akshu.
