With each day passing, OTT platforms are becoming more popular, and this past year we saw some of the best episodes and movies on them. As the year draws to an end, let's take a look at some of the most ground-breaking performances of 2022 on various OTT platforms:
Abhishek Bachchan gives a strong portrayal of aggressive Chief Minister Ganga Ram Chaudhary in Dasvi. His strong hold on spontaneous comedy makes the show more interesting than ever and adds a meaningful message every time he can.
Pankaj Tripathi, an OTT-made star, keeps taking the platform by storm with one outstanding series after another. The actor brought his A-game to Criminal Justice: Adhura Sach, winning the hearts of viewers and reviewers alike as Madhav Mishra.
Years after the theatrical debut of the psychological drama Gali Guleiyan, Manoj Bajpayee's brilliant performance from Family Man was brought back into focus. The movie chronicles the story of a shopkeeper who watches people through clandestine closed-circuit cameras until the day he faces the truth, becoming lost in the maze of his own thoughts the entire while.
Sohum Shah played the role of a Powerful, courageous, shrewd, and charming political leader Bheema Bharti in Maharani 2. His character made a lot of noise which created a ton of curiosity amongst the audience to watch more of Maharani 2. The audience has seen a whole new kind of transformation of Sohum as he took the character of Bheema Bharti to the next level in the series while winning the hearts of the millions.
While Pratik Gandhi has established himself really well after Scam 1992, this year has been all about exploring cinema for him with series like Modern Love Mumbai. He was seen in Hansal Mehta’s Baai which was one of the best offerings in Modern Love: Mumbai. While Pratik played the role of a homosexual guy, his honest, strong, and authentic portrayal made him stand out.

More than Pratik, it should be Ranveer who should get due credit. He isn't even an actor and aced it. Unlike some BW actresses who needs 4 movies to prove their acting chops, dude did it with one movie. The other actors did what they usually did. Bajpayee, Abhishek and Tripathi have layed such roles before (and they nailed it each time) and Soham Shah in Tumbbad will always be OP and his breakthrough performance.
