Beyond Dreams, headed by Yash Patnaik and Mamta Patnaik have taken their next big step of venturing into Bollywood with their horror film Kaalo releasing on December 17th. The makers of shows like Monice Mogre Case Files, Chehra, Jamunia and the presently running Rang Badalti Odhani are in upbeat mood as their movie which is the first ever Indian Creature horror film shot in broad daylight is all set to hit the theaters..
The film will be starring Swini Khara and Aditya Shrivastava (of CID fame). The movie has already won international acclaims and awards worldwide.
Talking about the film and his move from TV to films Yash Patnaik says, "My Television journey has been great till now. I have been in this industry for the past 15 years and have done about 30 shows. But now I thought of doing something good on a bigger scale. And it is great to know that my first feature film Kaalo got its International Award of "Best Film" at the South African Horror Fest out of 150 International horror films".
With the graduation of small screen to big screen happening, will Yash concentrate more on films now? "No, Television will always be my bread and butter; I wont leave small screen ever. I will try to come up with some good films but leaving television is impossible," says Yash.
Yash goes on with his future plans, "Two more films are in the pipeline about which I can talk about early next year. We have to decide about the concept that will be hitting the floor first".
Telly Buzz wishes Yash and his team all the very best for the film..
