#WrapUpJuly: Started High; Ended Low...

Not every day is your day, is what they say. And speaking from personal experience, I would say not every month is your month. The same happened with us when we sat down to write down our monthly wrap-up feature.

Read through the article and see for yourself, how the month started and ended.

We all woke up yesterday to news of Rajjat Barjatya, the CEO of Rajshri Productions, who was suffering from cancer, breathed his last on Friday. May his soul Rest In Peace.

ENTRIES

Major shows saw major entries like Vrushika Mehta entered Ishqbaaaz, Mastaangi fame Swati Kapoor entered Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, Shivani Tomar entered Kasam and Meghna Naidu entered Amma. 

Kavach saw two new entries but one of them was a replacement. Sara Khan replaced the original vamp of the show, Maheck Chahal as Manjulika and Malhar Pandya also entered the show. Actors Angad Hasija and Rohit Khurana returned to the television screens with Waaris and Birbal Aur Viraat respectively. And the most unexpected entry was that of Vishal Singhh, who will in all probability be seen in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai as Naitik.

And another good news for all Comedy Nights With Kapil Fans, the cast of the show is now complete as Bua aka Upasana Singh has finally joined The Kapil Sharma Show.

EXITS

Maheck Chahal's exit from Kavach paved way for Sara Khan's entry in the show. Jaya Binju quit Krishnadasi, Nia Sharma choose to quit her show Jamai Raja as she did not want to age on screen. Nikitin Dheer quit his television debut Nagarjun  due to creative issues with the makers. Bua also bid goodbye to Colors' Comedy Nights Live.

Dated, Engaged, Hitched!

We will not be forgetting how grand was tinsel town's favourite couple Divyanka Tripathi and Vivek Dahiya's wedding affair. Actress Sambhavna Seth too got hitched to her long time boyfriend Avinash Dwivedi and so did everyone's favorite Gadha Prasad aka Jitu Shivhare.

Ex- Bigg Boss contestant Mandana Karimi too got engaged to boyfriend Gaurav Gupta and the couple will get hitched this year itself.

This month turned out to be interesting in the link ups department with very unexpected but prominent names popping up. Let's start with the Yeh Hai Mohabbatein gang where Mohabbatein is brewing in a full swing. Krishna Mukherjee aka Alia and Aly Goni aka Romi, are rumoured to be dating and some also claim that Aditi Bhatia aka Ruhi and Abhishek Verma aka Adi are also smitten by each other.

Love is also set to be in the air for team Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai where Shivangi Joshi aka Naira and Mohsin Khan aka Karthik are said to be seeing each other. Another madly in love couple from the show are Rohan Mehra aka Naksh and Kanchi Singh aka Gayu.

As for Udaan jodi Vivaan aka Paras Arora and Chakor aka Meera Deosthale, the duo is also said to be dating each other.

Actress Rucha Gujarathi who was in the news for her turbulent marriage has found love in the arms of a non-industry guy and so has Anamika fame Annie Gill.

BREAK UPS

This month turned out light in the break-up department as only one couple fell apart. Actors Nawab shah and Kavita Kaushik split this month due to a very sad reason - both the individuals belonged to different religions.

ON AIR

Three most awaited shows, Ishqbaaz - a story of the bond between three brothers, Y.A.R.O. Ka Tashan - a story about how a Robot with feelings survives in this world and everyone's favourite dancing reality show Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa Season 9 went on-air this month. And the reception to all these shows has been amazing. The audience is absolutely loving them.

OFF AIR

Balika Vadhu, which recently entered the Guinness Book of World records, for being the longest running daily soap, will telecast its last episode today. The show was recently revamped and a completely fresh cast was roped in for the same. As for Meri Awaaz Hi Pehchaan Hai, which was actress Amrita Rao's television debut, the show pulled the plug on the 15th of this month itself.

INJURIES

Devoleena Bhattacharjee opened the injury section this month when she fell and cut open her forehead. She had to get the injury stitched up. Kumkum Bhagya actress, Leena Jumani too fell off a two-wheeler while vacationing in Goa with her beau. The couple was roughed up pretty bad though.

This year's Team Jhalak is jinxed or what? Right from actress Mouni Roy who appeared as a guest on the show to the contestants Arjun Bijlani, Sidhant Gupta and Shakti Arora, all of them have injured themselves.

WHEN WEATHER PLAYED A SPOIL SPORT

Yes, it is the monsoons and as much as the weather is romantic, it is also risky as hell. And ask the following celebs, who have fallen prey to various health complications thanks to the rains.

Nikita Dutta was hospitalised due to a certain bacterial infection that is spread in the air. Almost the entire cast of Thapki... Pyaar Ki also fell prey to viral fever. Mishal Raheja, Vahbbiz Dorabjee and Ashish Sharma suffered bouts of food poisoning, Zain Imam's blood pressure dipped so low that the lad had to wind up his shoot and worst of all, Lovey Sasan was admitted to the hospital on her birthday for what was suspected to be a bout of dengue.

HOT N HAPPENING

Upasana Singh aka Bua, quit Comedy Nights Live (previously named Comedy Nights With Kapil) stating issues with the makers of the show. Upasana could not move out with the CNWK cast due to contractual issues. But everyone's fave Bua has finally gone back to her old family. Upasana has joined the cast of The Kapil Sharma Show.

Another shocking news to come out this month was when Ruslaan Mumtaz's sexuality was questioned by many. As it is already known to all, Ruslaan is married. But when reports of him being a bisexual emerged, his wife did not take kindly to them and gave a reply fit for the actor's haters.

On an average, the month thankfully, passed by quickly.
