Will miss you...for me an era has ended today: Rupali Ganguly pens heartfelt note for Bappi Lahiri

Veteran singer and composer Bappi Lahiri passed away on Tuesday night owing to multiple health issues. The veteran passed away at 69, in a hospital in Mumbai. Reports further have it that he was admitted to the hospital for a month, but was discharged later after recovering.

On Tuesday night, however, he passed away due to OSA (Obstructive Sleep Apnea). The singer's last rites will take place on Thursday afternoon once his son, Bappa Lahiri, returns from the USA. Meanwhile, the entertainment industry has been mourning the loss of the veteran and among those grieving, is Anupamaa actress Rupali Ganguly, who was extremely close to the singer.

She shared a photo with him on social media, and wrote: So many memories… childhood spent at your house … Pappa and you started from “Agreement” and went on to do so many films and evergreen songs… so many recordings.. so many conversations… so much love and warmth … You always singing Yaar Bina chain kahan re everytime we met … our conversations about Pappa … will miss u … for me an era has ended today …
