Why is Kiara Advani missing from M.S. Dhoni's promotion?

Neeraj Pandey has teamed up with Sushant Singh Rajput for the most awaited biopic, M.S Dhoni: The Untold Story. The entire nation was super excited when Sushant unveiled the trailer of the film along with Mahendra Singh Dhoni himself. The audience loved the trailer and can't wait for the film to release.

Both Sushant and Dhoni are going all out for the promotions of the film. Amidst all the love the film was garnering no one noticed that the leading lady, Kiara Advani has been missing from the scene right since the trailer launch. Kiara Advani plays Sushant's love interest in the film. She was away to Georgia for the shoot of Abbas-Mastan's Machine, but was very much in Mumbai during the trailer launch on the 11^th of August.

A source close to the actress said, "Kiara was very much in Mumbai on the day of the trailer launch, but she wasn't invited formally, by the makers, for the launch." When Kiara was asked about her absence she was diplomatic to say, "Actually the makers wanted Dhoni to launch the trailer in a grand way. They are also planning a bigger event for Sushant and me in the coming days." When it was asked to clarify whether was she invited for the launch or not, she tactfully replied, saying, "We can't open everything in one go. Just wait for more to come out." When she was further probed she escaped the situation by saying that she would get back but didn't do the same.
