Renowned filmmaker Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri, known for his thought-provoking cinema, is gearing up for his upcoming project, 'The Delhi Files.' Known for his meticulous research, Agnihotri recently embarked on a journey to Gandhi’s Ashram in Sewagram as part of his preparation for the film.
Sharing glimpses from his visit on social media, Agnihotri expressed his profound experience, stating,
"For the research of #TheDelhiFiles, I spent days at Gandhi’s Ashram in Sewagram. This cottage has been visited by whos who of the world. Some of the best journalists used to station themselves here to interview Gandhi. Every parent must take their children there. Truly inspiring."
From Kerala to Kolkata to Delhi, Agnihotri traversed vast distances, leaving no stone unturned in his quest for authentic information. His dedication to detail saw him delve into a plethora of literature, devouring over 100 books and 200 articles related to the historical backdrop of his film. Alongside his team, he conducted extensive research across 20 states, meticulously studying over 7000 research pages and 1000 archives.
