On the work front, Deverakonda is awaiting the release of his next film Kingdom, directed by Jersey filmmaker Gowtam Tinnanuri. Initially slated to release on 30 May 2025, the film's release has now been shifted to 4 July 2025, reportedly due to changes in the socio-political landscape.

Kingdom is positioned as a spy thriller and is expected to be the first of a two-part series. The cast includes Bhagyashri Borse and Satyadev in key roles, with music by Anirudh Ravichander. Cinematographers Girish Gangadharan and Jomon T. John are handling visuals, while Naveen Nooli is in charge of editing.

Beyond Kingdom, Vijay Deverakonda has announced two more upcoming projects, tentatively titled VD14 and SVC59.
