Viewers LASH OUT on the makers of 'Naamkarann'; here's why!

The show has been receiving a lot of flak for a particular reason..

The Star Plus show, 'Naamkarann' has been the recipient of a lot of flak in recent times. No, it is not because of the exit of actress Barkha Bisht Sengupta, whose abrupt departure from the show was a certain shock to many.

The show was one of the most critically acclaimed shows when it was launched, where the concept of the show was admired and appreciated. However, the current track is being slammed by several viewers.

The current track showcases how Avni (Arsheen Naamdar) is suffering all the atrocities of Dayavanti (Reema Laggoo) to such an extent, where she recently was able to free herself from the goons after being kidnapped and even gather evidence against Dayavanti.

While, the fact that a kid is shown to be facing all this with bravura, intelligence and precision is certainly commendable, it is being said that it has been overplayed to a major extent.

According to sources, several fans are unhappy that the character of Avni has apparently being portrayed as a 'Super Girl' who can fight the biggest problems with finesse and is able to overcome all of them. It is also being said that, the fact that the show, which began as a little girl wanting a normal family to and it's current track of the 'now-not-so-little-girl' along with her incredible adventures makes it look just another run-of-the-mill show.

The central character of the show being 'extraordinarily heroic' is not something new, but when a show like 'Naamkarann' portrays the same, it can get too unbelievable.

Why is this show even in air? One of the most disgusting stories I have ever seen where both the parents were spineless and didn't give a family to a child and now they have trashed the story as well. Such a shame that its coming from Mahesh Bhatt but wait he tried to butcher his other show on Sony but Sony was wise enough to pull the plug. But seems like Star plus have no backup ready that's why continuing this crap.

Feel sorry for actors; Barkhaaa,( you were great in Hanuman, should have never left it), Viraf, That little oversmart girl, and most Reema Lagooo...mam you don't deserve this show ...its bad.

More than makers, it is the audience to be blamed , when the show was excellent . TRP was low .Now the trashy content is giving them TRPS .

Bang on article. Great . I would love to meet 10 yr old girl like Avani . So stupid , she was not allowed to mourn her mom . She takes care for infant , She taks like PhD student and solves problems llike secrete service . Big disappointments with Rima lagoo .I was her fan but no more . Abusing and starving and punishing her grand kid and abusing her kids and buying everything and everyone with her money disgust me . This was story about one ladies struggle for rights and what happend ? So stupid and pure crap . I stopped watching when they killed Asha and Allladin was bought man . They needs to get rid of this child abused . Do not show on T. V . Stop watching it .

It's nothing new young chakor was shown like this. The show is butchered to the maximum level and lost the original plot. The useless sperm donor is nowhere to been seen... probably doesn't even know that he has a young son.

They are showing torture of a little girl and TRPs are rising!!!

Disgusting!!!

Not to mention the male lead Viraf Patel who plays her dad Ashish is never seen!!!!

Avni is a bahu in making and even her future hero has made an entry!!!!

I was watching this show only for Viraf and now even he is not there and so I see no reason to watch it!!!!

10 or even 12 year old kid in real lifehow much ever intelligent the kid is won't be doing or using the words that Avni does in this show. Seriously damm CVs have forgotten the show about a 9 or 10 year kid. Not 30 year detective
