Following its success in theaters, the much-talked-about film Bad Newz has now made its way to the streaming platform Prime Video, starting September 13. The film, a quirky romantic comedy packed with fun and energy, is ready to entertain global audiences with its unique storyline and catchy music.
Bad Newz, revolves around a rare medical phenomenon known as heteropaternal superfecundation, where Saloni Bagga (played by Triptii Dimri) discovers she’s pregnant with twins from two different fathers. The plot takes a comedic turn as the two men, portrayed by Vicky Kaushal and Ammy Virk, find themselves in a hilarious rivalry, both vying for Saloni’s attention and love. The film’s engaging premise, paired with its lively screenplay, sets the stage for a laughter-filled, heartwarming tale.
Produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Amritpal Singh Bindra, and Anand Tiwari, Bad Newz is a joint presentation by Prime Video, Dharma Productions, and Leo Media Collective. Directed by Anand Tiwari, the film features a talented ensemble cast, including Neha Dhupia, Sheeba Chaddha, Neha Sharma, and Faisal Rashid, who add depth to the narrative with their performances.
