Vatsal Sheth gets Up, Close and Personal about upcoming Bollywood movie Malang and more!

TV and Bollywood actor Vatsal Sheth started his acting career with popular youth show Just Mohabbat but rose to fame with Bollywood flick Taarzan: The Wonder Car. The actor was away from the screen for quite some time until he again got a break in television with Sony TV show Ek Hasina Thi and then went on to do shows like  Rishton Ka Saudagar: Baazigar, Gehraaiyaan and Haasil. 

Well, now the actor has bagged an interesting role in upcoming Bollywood movie Malang. In an exclusive chat with India Forums, Vatsal shared with us about his character in the film, his experience of shooting with a stellar cast and much more. 

You will be seen in movies after a long time and have been doing television for a while now. Which medium do you enjoy the most? 

Yes, I’m doing a feature film after a while and the reason I’m doing it after a long time is because I’m doing TV and you don’t get a lot of time in your hand while doing it. Right now I don’t have anything much on television, hence I took the project. I’m excited about the movie Malang. Well, now speaking of which medium do I enjoy the most, I’m an actor and I enjoy all the mediums as long as my character is amazing. 

Tell us about your character in Malang and how did you land the role?

Well, at the moment I can’t talk much about my character in Malang but I’m very excited to work with Mohit Suri and also with Aditya Roy Kapoor and Disha. I know Aditya since a long time, in fact Aditya’s brother Kunal and me started our acting career together from a Tv show called Just Mohabbat. So yeah, I’m quite pumped about the movie. 

The film has a stellar cast, how was the experience of shooting?

The shoot is still going on and the experience has been amazing and I’m enjoying every bit of it. 

Vatsal will be seen along with Aditya Roy Kapoor, Disha Patani, Anil Kapoor and Kunal Khemu in upcoming movie Malang which is directed by Mohit Suri. Co produced by Luv Films and T-Series, the film is slated to release in 2020.
