Vashu Bhagnani praises Akshay Kumar's support over crisis rumours: He called first to offer help

Akshay Kumar is widely recognized in the film industry for his talent, professionalism, and gentlemanly demeanor. Recently, he further demonstrated his kind nature by offering his support to producer Vashu Bhagnani amidst false rumors regarding Pooja Entertainment.

When fake news emerged about Pooja Entertainment shutting down and its building being sold, Akshay Kumar was quick to reach out. Vashu Bhagnani shared, "Akshay was the first person to call me and say not to worry, and let him know if there was anything to do. He lent his unconditional support. I also got calls from Sunny Deol, Suniel Shetty, and my old friend David Dhawan. I am really moved by everyone; they are people who stick by you."

Bhagnani expressed his deep affection for the industry, stating, "I love the film industry, it is my jaan. There are still very emotional people in this industry who stick by you through thick and thin."

For those unaware, recent reports falsely suggested that Vashu Bhagnani and Jackky Bhagnani's Pooja Entertainment was closing down. Rumors claimed they had sold their office premises due to debts of Rs 250 crores and had laid off over 80% of their staff.

However, Vashu Bhagnani clarified that the building is undergoing redevelopment, a plan that has been in place for over a year and a half. He assured that all other reports about Pooja Entertainment are untrue.

Pooja Entertainment, one of the oldest production companies in the industry, has produced iconic films like Coolie No.1, Hero No. 1, BellBottom, Biwi No.1, F.A.L.T.U., Jawaani Jaaneman, and Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein. The company owns significant intellectual properties and is also involved in other businesses, including real estate.
