Varun Badola On Never Working With Wife, Rajeshwari After One Show

Sony TV's Mere Dad Ki Dulhan was recently launched and even though there was a lot of controversy surrounding it initially, the show has had a smooth beginning so far. Apart from the show being Shweta Tiwari's comeback, the show also marks a return for Varun Badola, who is seen in a series regular role after a long period of time.

So, recently, when he was asked about his return, he mentioned having the lack of good scripts and something exciting coming along. However, probably a few would remember how Badola actually met with his now-wife Rajeshwari Sachdev on the sets of the musical show, Antakshari, and even though they have done several projects together otherwise and on stage, the couple has never been cast together in a TV show thus never sharing screen-space on this medium.

In a recent interview with Bombay Times, Badola was asked if he would want to work with wife Sachdev, he mentioned how nobody has ever offered a show or a film to him and her to share the screen together. He mentioned about the one show they did together (Antakshari), where they fell in love and got married. He added that however he now feels that acting with her will awkward and it will be like working with a new actress, and only that's why he feels that.

We certainly would love to see the real-life couple share screen space together soon.
