Vaidehi Nair roped in to play a pivotal role in Colors TV's upcoming show Shivshakti

Vaidehi Nair who rose to fame after featuring in Colors TV supernatural drama Tantra where she played the character of Mansi, and was seen in the popular show Radha Krishn will soon be part of the popular show Shiv Shakti. The actress has been roped in to play an important character. She will be seen playing the character of Rohini, one of Prajapati Daksh's daughters. She was the most loved wife of Lord Chandra among the other 26 wives. She is the favourite, most beautiful, and chief consort of Chandra. She is the lord of Rohini Nakshatra. 

My parents inspired me as they strongly believe that one must follow one’s passion or dream. However, during my journey in my acting career, the desire to be creative and appreciated has always been my inspiration to excel, she said.

How do you manage your studies along with acting?

It has been tough for me to strike a balance between my studies and pursuing my acting career. It was much more difficult during my Xth board exams. However, my mother was a pillar of strength to me. With her support and guidance, I have been managing my studies well along with my career. I even managed to score 92.4% in my Xth CBSE board exams.

What is your parent's contribution to your dream?

The contribution of my parents has been immense, to say the least. Without their unflinching support, I could not have given wings to my dreams.  My mother forsake her career to move to Mumbai with me and has been a constant support and source of strength in my journey. My father, who is an army officer and is serving at the borders, has taught me the significance of discipline and to never give up in life.

What is your dream project?

My dream project is to essay a role that will forever be etched in everyone's minds. I know it will be an arduous task but i am prepared to work towards achieving it. Once I will do that, I will win people’s hearts.

With whom you wanna share the silver screen?

I would love to share screen space with the “Badshah of Bollywood” King Khan. I have been his diehard fan since years. I just love his acting skills and his screen presence, and I find his journey of success very inspirational.

Where you wanna see yourself in the next 5 years?

In 5 years, I see myself continuing to grow in my career. I would like to focus on my acting skills, try to achieve greater heights through constant learning and make valuable contributions towards the entertainment industry. I want to essay significant roles in my career to remain etched in people's memories.
