In her articulation, Usha expresses that as an artist, she does not limit herself to specific role types, whether they are major or minor. Whether portraying a character of wealth or poverty, positivity or negativity, she embraces the chance to undertake a variety of roles.
The crucial factor is the role's quality. The audience should appreciate her work and feel that she is a talented artist. Her preference lies in projects that provide roles with significant opportunities for performance.
The 78-year-old actress, with a career spanning over four decades, maintains her enthusiasm for her craft. Acknowledging the demanding television schedules, she notes that she has experienced long working hours on TV over the years. However, one thing that needs attention is late-night shoots. Currently, she finds it challenging to handle late-night shifts, as fatigue sets in after a certain point.
She observes that drawing from her experience in both regional and Hindi TV shows, she has noticed that in Marathi shows, the working hours typically range from 9 am to 9 pm, rarely extending beyond. In contrast, Hindi shows often commence early and continue until late. She believes this can be improved. Actors need time for rest and other activities to deliver their best performances.

I agree nowadays actors don't get proper rest due to airing of shows for all 7 days a week. Earlier shows used to come not more than 3 days a week and actors used to get proper rest. Back then shows are also good comparing to shows airing now.
