After receiving an overwhelming response to the previous two seasons that introduced audiences to some truly exceptional moms whose dancing skills can give even the younger dancers a run for their money, Zee TV recently launched the 3rd edition of its popular non-fiction show – DID Super Moms.  Airing Saturdays and Sundays, the new season has an exciting panel of judges – Remo D’Souza, Bhagyashree Dassani and Urmila Matondkar to mentor and guide the talented moms through their journey and help them achieve their dancing dreams.

While the top 12 contestants have mesmerized one and all with their enchanting performances week after week, this weekend, during the special episode, viewers will have a blast as Jhanvi Kapoor will be seen gracing the show as a special guest. Though all the Super Moms put their best foot forward during the shoot, it was Riddhi Tiwari’s marvelous performance to ‘Yaaro Sun Lo Zara’ that caught everyone’s attention. In fact, the talented contestant along with her choreographer Shyam dedicated their performance to Urmila Matondkar. What’s more, is that the contestant even mentioned how she is a true Urmila Matondkar fan and would love to shake a leg with her on her popular track -  ‘Rangeela Re.’ While Urmila obliged and agreed to dance with Riddhi on the song, she even called Remo on stage. She revealed how he was also a part of the OG song and though he was a background dancer back then, she feels proud of his growth over the past three decades.

Many people don’t know why I have called Remo along with me on the stage, but I would like to inform everyone that he was also there in the song with me 27 years ago. At that time, he was a background dancer, and he was at an early stage of his career. Having said that, I must add that I have seen him grow day by day and today, I would love to praise his journey by saying his own catchphrase - ‘Now that’s what I call a performance.

As Urmila mentioned, “Many people don’t know why I have called Remo along with me on the stage, but I would like to inform everyone that he was also there in the song with me 27 years ago. At that time, he was a background dancer, and he was at an early stage of his career. Having said that,  I must add that I have seen him grow day by day and today, I would love to praise his journey by saying his own catchphrase - ‘Now that’s what I call a performance.’”

Remo D’Souza also posted a reel recently clubbing the original ‘Rangeela Re’ song footage and transitioning it to a studio set up in the present where the duo is seen recreating the steps.

Talking about his post and his bond with Urmila Matondkar, Remo D’souza also added, “We always say that life is a circle and today, I feel that the circle is complete. It’s an honor for me to share the DID stage with Urmila Ma’am and it’s a pleasure to hear these kind words from her. Recently, I even posted a video with Urmila Ma’am and captioned it ‘I never dreamed of success, I have worked for if I can do it, anybody can do it.”

While Remo D’Souza’s inspirational journey will motivate you, wait till you watch the stunning performances by the fantastic contestants of DID Super Moms this weekend!
