Turkish TikToker Kubra Aykut, who went viral for marrying herself, dies by suicide

Turkish TikToker Kubra Aykut, whose "wedding without a groom" video went viral, reportedly died by suicide after she fell from the balcony of a luxury apartment building's fifth floor in Turkey.

The case is being actively investigated by the authorities who also found a suicide note, reported Türkiye Today.As per the report, the 26-year-old Aykut died on September 23. She was discovered dead in Sultanbeyli district of Istanbul.

As reported by the various media publications, the "suicide note" of Aykut read, “I jumped off my own free will. Because I don’t want to live anymore. Take good care of Fistik. I was good to everyone in my life, but I couldn’t be good to myself. "Fistik" is believed to be her pet."

The suicide note further read, "Living as a good person gave me nothing. In this life, be selfish. That way, you will be happy. I’ve been struggling for days, but no one noticed. I’m leaving because I love myself and want to think about myself for once. I’m sorry. Kubra Aykut. How surprised are you now, right?"
